Territorial Farm Stay

Welcome to Territorial Farm Stay and Stable, a small farm in the beautiful South Willamette Valley of Oregon, between Eugene and Corvallis, about 2 hours south of Portland. We are an equestrian property with a stable offering a variety of equestrian activities, and we offer both a Farm Stay cottage and an RV Glamping option (currently not available in fall of 2023).  We are in horse and wine country, with some 10 wineries within 15 minutes and many more within a 30 to 45 minute radius.  And we are surrounded by an outdoor recreational paradise. 

Your Farm Stay experience offers the opportunity to connect with a horse through adding on a Horsin' Around Experience or a private riding lesson to your stay. There are plenty of opportunities to hang out with the horses, help out with barn chores, help with garden/yard maintenance, enjoy the backyard fire pit (fire danger permitting) and s'mores or just sit back and watch the animals and enjoy a good book or a relaxed conversation.

We are pet friendly for well behaved pets with an extra fee.  Both accommodations have a two-night minimum and a cleaning fee, along with 10% Oregon lodging tax.

This beautiful piece of paradise has been in my family for over 100 years. I am very blessed to live here and proudly care for it now, and plan to keep it in our family forever. Come camp, reset and recharge on the beautiful central Oregon coast. Nestled in the lush Beavercreek valley, we are just outside the fog zone in our own sweet little weather bubble. We have a variety of wetland wildlife here including a visiting elk herd, a large and beautiful variety of birds and various small critters.. Early summer dawn bird song is just amazing! 🎶 It’s lush and green and feels like the earth is hugging you when you’re camping in the carefully carved in marsh-field nooks. There are various camp “sites” to choose from, in the big field or the smaller meadow, with shade and/or sunshine & you choose which spot you’d like to stay in once you arrive. 
Feel free to check out all of the Barn and other communal spaces like: the beautiful dome for chillin in, stargazing bed in the tall field grass, the “Wookie Nook”- secret relaxing nurselog tree in the far right of the field, lounge chairs under the Cedar in the meadow, forest walk, the Legacy Lounge-art, antique and family memorabilia room-through the mural painted door…make yourself at home 💝

It is generally quiet and peaceful out here and a super sweet rustic getaway. Weekends of course are more lively, but still plenty room to spread out and have your own peaceful space. 
You can have solitude out at your camp, or come to the communal barn areas for a more social time. Inside the Barn has a more “hostel” feel with couches and lounge areas, dining room area tables and chairs, dance floor with Labyrinth to walk, stage, hula hoops, fun props, art and antiques to enjoy! The  Black light art and ping pong room is not to miss!! 

   There’s a Full kitchen (minus an oven) in the  corner of the barn with all you need to cook, serve and eat. (Charcoal)Bbq shed outside the barn next to the communal fire pit. Just past those is the cedar shingled shower house with a wood fired sauna too. (I generally have firewood for sale here.) There’s 4 Porta potties on-site, but also, please feel free to pee outside. 😁

   On the way to the HeArt Barn, just off of hwy 101 is Ona Beach state park. There you can kayak, canoe, paddleboard -or some even swim- on the east side of the hwy. The beach and beautiful state park is on the west side with Beaver creek flowing through it and a lovely bridge over it. We are just 5 minute drive form there. There are a couple hikes along the way, and also for jogging or biking..

    I believe in living as simply and peacefully as possible, in harmony with all neighbors of all species; -plants, animals and humans- in order to do my part to sustain healthy life on this planet. I know that I am blessed for having been raised here and since I’ve come home, I live in gratitude for this blessing every day; and am so thankful to be able to share some of it with you. Lost Coast Adventure Camp

This magical property is conveniently located 5 miles north of Florence and directly on Hwy 101, approximately 3/4 of a mile from the ocean. This is a large private site that is surrounded by old growth timber and teaming with flora and fauna. Campers are encouraged to explore, but be aware, this property is wild.. and encounters with wildlife are common. Beyond the adventuring that can be done on the property, Baker Beach state park is less than a half a mile away and there is a plethora of trails, parks, and lakes within 10 miles.

We do have full time neighbors just to the North, so we ask that you be respectful and cautious with regard to dogs/noise. Hwy 101 can be very dangerous for unsuspecting pets. There are several roadside campfire stations(directly across 101 from camp) offering small bundles for $5-6/night. 

**Be advised that we are slowly working on the property to eventually create more camping space. There was a lot of dirt/fill brought in over the winter of 2022 and the property may not be as green as years past.**

Where the property sits relative to the highway, lake, and ocean. Currently you can't make it to Lilly lake or the ocean through the property. To access Lilly lake please go down Baker Beach Rd and take the Lilly Lake loop. Our property consists of 5 acres of wetland is dangerously swampy to try and hike all the way through to the lake. 

Trip Camp Yachats

Secluded tent and hammock camping on the Oregon Coast! Walk to the beach and sleep in the trees. World-class trails, restaurants, brewery, and more minutes away.

Nestled on 20 private acres 1/2 mile from the ocean and just out of the fog line, Trip Camp is quiet, off-grid forest camping, but minutes from town. You can still hear the waves most nights! Plan to meet us before 7pm check in cut off for your guided walk to camp sites!

Trip Camp is an easy 15 minute walk to the beach, crossing highway 101. Yachats is 3 miles away. It's possible to walk to Yachats via the beach and 804 trail system.

Cape Perpetua scenic area is 5 miles away and hosts many great trails. Heceta Head Lighthouse and the world famous Sea Lion Caves are 18 miles to the south.

A small trail system exists on property which you are welcome to explore. Trip Camp backs wooded and forestry lands. Wild black bear and cougar live in this the area.  Plan accordingly.  We have never had an issue with one of these animals, (we suggest you store food in your car away from your camp area).

We generally do not allow fires due to fire risk, but are actively experimenting with options we that might work outside of fire season. Only camp stoves are currently allowed.

We are a working and developing homestead. Though the campsites are further back in the forest, upfront (and where you park) you will encounter our greenhouse, home, children's play area. Do not be surprised to see a tractor moving about and handling our ongoing farm operations.  If you've got elementary age children, our kiddo is looking forward to saying hello (heck, they want to say hello to everyone, who are we kidding)!

Private access road with only one entrance. Expect to see other campers on shared trail systems. Generally secluded, relatively private and quiet. You may hear the sounds of our homestead operations or tractor during daylight hours.

Accesible by cars, trucks, vans and camper vans. No access for RV's or trailers. Limited turn around. Depending on wetness and season, alternative parking arrangements may be needed if parking area access too wet.

More about Trip Camp:

Purchased in 2013, building out our property has been a labor of love, and is always a work in progress. We wanted to live somewhere where things move slower and where we can have a more intimate connection with the land.

We raise over 30 chickens, garden, and forage the natural abundance of the area, from berries to mushrooms.

In our forest, there are deer, coyote, rabbit, bear, skunk, raccoon, squirrels and chipmunks, various owls, bald eagles, weasels, cougar, bobcat, and any other number of critters.

The Trip Camp sites sit on the historical Spruce Logging Railway Camps of the early 20th century.

During WW1, some conscientious objectors were sent to work camps such as the one here to log the first and second growth spruce trees for the war effort. When they finished the narrow gauge railway system to transport the logs in 1919, the war effort was over and was taken over by private logging concerns.

Private and secluded campsite surrounded by lush green forest. We loved our stay at trip camp, great overall location and yachats is an adorable town. Uriah, their son was adorable and so welcoming, showing us the extensive forest land they live on. Loved it!!

I was glad for a place to set my stuff when I needed to use the outhouse.

River View

Glenada was incorporated in 1912 and disincorporated in 1922 after the town's sawmills burned. This side of the river was pretty bustling before the Siuslaw bridge was built in 1936, being quite a transformative event considering the ferry from Glenada to Florence was the main way across the river.

River View is located up on Glenada mountain, on the upper level of our three-acre lot. We have a free-range farm atmosphere, with 2 children, 2 large dogs, a cat, and 12 chickens. We allow Hip Campers to bring animals on the property with the understanding that they are good around children and other animals, as our kids and pets are often running around the land. We have firewood bundles and farm-fresh eggs available for additional fees. THERE IS NO TOILET on the property. This is not a tent camping site unless you have your own porta-potty set up.

This is a beautiful rustic property close enough to Hwy 101 to be convenient but far enough away to enjoy all the wildlife the Siuslaw River has to offer. Bird watching at its finest! Not to mention the view of Old Town!

We offer firewood bundles and farm-fresh chicken eggs for an additional fee. THERE IS NO TOILET on the property. This is not a tent camping site unless you have your own porta-potty set up. This little slice of rugged heaven is just above the Siuslaw River and right off of Hwy 101. There is a steep gravel driveway but once at the top, it is flat and the view is pretty amazing. From camp, you can see Old Town. Gaze down at the Siuslaw River and all the wildlife that comes with it! We regularly see deer, red tail hawks, ospreys, and bald eagles. We have also had a bear that passes through, so beware of leaving food out. There are plenty of places to hike and visit nearby dunes, rivers, lakes, parks, and the ocean. Enjoy Florence's amazing food (ask the host for her favorites). Walk down to Old Town for dinner or bring back take-out and eat it in the tiny house (no electricity or running water). Take a short walk to Pricket state park for clamming or just relax with a book and feel the breeze off the river.  Whatever you enjoy, we’re sure you can find something close by! No bathroom or running water but there are 2 electrical plugs (110V and 220V) available.

The fire pit is only available for use when fires are permitted by local fire directives.

Yaquina Bend

realxation and privacy in nature await! our teepee is a 18' Handcrafted Sioux Tepee incorperating 4 sleeping cots. This Tepee is a living artifact, making it possible to experience how native cultures lived hundreds- thousands of years ago in the great plains. There are also 2 bell tents each with 2 raised sleeping cots. 
Fire pit includes grill and seats so no need to pack chairs. Beach access along the Yaquina River, great for swimming and innertubing, advanced terrain please use rope assist . Enjoy cornhole frisbee, football and kids games at camp, too! 
Only 20 minutes from the Newport, this camp can make a great home base for day trips to the beach, restaurants, and shops. Yaquina bend is the perfect place to relax, connect with nature, and spend quality time with friends and family.
