1 night at B&B Treehouse Ranch

Scott has the most amazing Treehouse! I cant tell you how much we got to bond over this whole experience. The bathroom was peaceful. The beds were cozy. The shower outside was awesome! The ladder was treacherous haha! I can’t believe the view and the wild life all around us. We will be back to this outstanding, homey treehouse again!!!!

Beautiful, private location. Hot tub was easy to operate and can fit two people who are very friendly! Lovely walk to the creek in the woods. The host was kind and helpful. We had a wonderful stay! Beautiful location, close to lots of adventures. They had all the basic necessities covered. Views of Mt. Adams. Fell asleep to the soundnof owls.

2 nights at Romantic Forest Hide-a-Way

We had a great time at this little cabin. The view on one side had a view of construction equipment and there was some construction noise when we arrived but it stopped shortly after and did not resume. We had a great time going through all the tapes in the cabin- our favorite was Kitaro Astral Voyage. The grounds were nice to take a walk on, and found it extraordinarily easy to have a dog with us, the gate at the top of the stuff was perfect to keep him contained while in the hot tub and there was so much space for him to run around and get some energy out. The wood stove kept the cabin plenty warm- almost too warm much of the time so we had windows cracked and the fresh air was nice. The only part that was iffy to me was asking for us to do our own cleaning up, as well as leave a tip for the housekeeper, as well as a $100 cleaning fee and while this has become standard for most places unfortunately, it doesn’t sit well with me to ask for all 3 of those things, especially as the cabin wasn’t pristinely clean to begin with. The dust bunnies under the upstairs bed and splatters on the wall around the stove and the splatter on the bathroom door need attention, however we are not clean freaks and it wasn’t too much of a bother. Overall we had a lovely time and would recommend this spot. Next time we would probably go for the yurt as it is slightly more secluded without being in view of houses/construction equipment. Oh, and large people might struggle to get up the stairs. 5*

Having your own private bathroom that is code protected is nice. The bathrooms have a great set-up with plenty of hooks and places to put your things. Some people leave their stuff behind however. I was there on a rainy weekend so it was pretty quiet. I got in several walks in between rain showers and found the grounds very nice. The campsite I utilized was a bit messy due to being under trees but that's life in the forest! I was able to eat my dinner on the picnic table provided. Overall, I recommend this place. Sidney, my contact person and greeter, was fabulous! She was friendly and opened gates for me and then took me to the bathrooms and made sure I had the codes sent to me in a text. She told me to text her any time if I had any questions or problems.

We loved staying in this cabin! Such a cool off-the-grid property with great star viewing and rustic charm. Ticks are out this time of year so plan accordingly, but it’s nothing to prevent you from enjoying this place. We had our two young kids who loved mucking around the property and exploring.

What a fantastic place to stay. We were greeted at the gate by Noah, who gave us all the information we needed to have a comfortable stay. (Including where we would find an excellent dinner, just a few minutes down the road.) The tent was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Restroom and shower were a very short walk. Plenty of parking and dog friendly. The other guests were quiet and respectful. Absolutely recommend this place to others.

The Snowden Yurt

Please do not throw any trash in the porta-potties. 4WD/AWD REQUIRED PAST THE BARN: The steep gravel roads can be tough for some cars and rigs (particularly on the way out) and consequently, can cause a lot of damage to our roads. If someone in your party has a 2WD vehicle, they can park up in the entry lot and get shuttled down to the campsites in a 4WD vehicle. DOG FRIENDLY: We are as dog friendly as it gets here. Unleashed dogs are allowed on this property down by the creek (on-leash required in and around the barn). If you have a fear of dogs, or have dogs that are not friendly with other people or fellow dogs, this probably isn't the right campground for you. Of course, we expect all dog owners to keep an eye on their pets so they don't disturb other campers or ingest anything they're not supposed to. QUIET HOURS: 10pm-9am. We ask that guests keep the noise (loud music and loud conversations) to a minimum between 10pm and 9am. We live onsite and will enforce these if we have to (please don't make us). NO FIREARMS, FIREWORKS OR ILLEGAL SUBSTANCE USE. This is not a late night party campsite. Because we are so close, you can hear the sunset-view-seeking drivers, motorcycle riders, and yes, racers who come out this way for a spin on one of the most scenic highways in the world. Sleeping Beauty trail is just a few minutes away and you are within 30 minutes or Hood River if you are looking to explore and check out wineries. There are cheese caves, ice caves, Goose Lake, Council Lake and so much more! Fall is one of my favorite seasons! Hood River fishery has been amazing and the fall colors can't be beat! There is a fire pit and campfires are welcome when there is not a burn ban. Trout Lake Inn is a local favorite up here and check their Facebook to see what live entertainment they have coming up. Pets are welcome - please make sure they are well behaved and are kept close to the cabin. I do have my own friendly dogs (Ruby and Muskett) on the property, but they do not have access to the cabin area.
