Come stay at our little sustainable farmstead amid the beautiful rolling hills of southern Ohio! Our peaceful 20 acres has a good mix of woods, wild meadows and maintained cleared areas as well as a small pond, all of which can be explored via our nature trail. Enjoy the sounds of nature and an incredible night sky. FIREWOOD and seasonal farm goods are available for purchase at a self-serve stand (several payment options available). There is also a wonderful sauna on the property that can be reserved (go to sauna to reserve a time). Great hiking, kayaking, biking, birding, fishing, swimming, and disc-golfing opportunities just a few miles away at Paint Creek State Park and the Highland Nature Sanctuary. Amish country is also just 15 minutes away with a great bakery, markets and greenhouses. This area is home to an impressive network of ancient earthworks including the world famous Serpent Mound. Our accommodations range from primitive tent-camping to "glamping" in one of our tiny off-grid cabins. The sites are spaced out for privacy and each site offers a private picnic table and fire pit. There are two shared privies/outhouses which have basic composting toilets (not flushing). The cabin is a little small, but it comfortably housed my wife and I. Everything was very clean with all of the amenities that we needed for the weekend. A very nice spot for a weekend retreat for two people. There's also a huge stack of western and war DVDs if you want to check those out!

This cozy a-frame cabin has a full-sized bed with a comfy memory foam mattress. Clean bedding provided.

What a perfect spot and perfect stay! It felt like a quiet and secret hideaway and yet everything that I needed was so easily accessible, including local hikes, attractions, and her farm stand. Such a cute and unique place! I originally got Hipcamp to find some places for tent camping but thought the cabin was too cute. We loved the whole set up and farm. It’s private and well cared for. We loved the veggie and produce stand by the firewood. We also had a lovely farm cat stay with us for the second evening which was adorable. We are not afraid of bugs and spend most weekends camping but there were definitely a surplus of stink bugs in the cabin which made me a bit meh, mostly they were present in the daytime so not terrible at night. Guessing just a seasonal thing but definitely something to consider if you’re weird with bugs. Otherwise, everything was perfect!!

We really loved the porch and deck:) perfect to sit outside, watch the sunrise and listen to the nature. What an amazing 4 day trip. We wished we could have stayed even longer! Only complaint was the grill was a little ify with no drip barrier between the flames and the propane tank from a safety stand point.. perfect get away!

We had a fantastic visit to Williams cabin and land! My dog had plenty of woods to explore and my fiancé and I had the peace and serenity we were looking for. Weekend Trip to Cozy mountain log cabin

The cabin was new and had most of what we needed. It was really pretty and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. I took a bath in the big soak tub and that was probably the highlight of my long weekend. It was amazing. If I were giving stars, I would give 4.5/5. I can't give it a full 5 stars because it wasn't as advertised in a few ways. I believe that some pictures got mixed together for all of the cabins. I was expecting a hot tub and a picnic table on the deck. It was still beautiful and the stars were amazing in such a dark area. William was very kind and I felt comfortable being around him. He brought me wood in a frontloadet and only charged $10 for more than enough for the weekend. to He seems to be building 4 or 5 different things at once. It was a little dusty because of the gravel road, but I was expecting that. I had wished there was more access to walking trails. There may have been some, but they were not immediately obvious. So I guess my recommendation to the host would be to adding more information about the property. There was also no wifi. I personally didn't need it. My kid was with us. They suggested starlink would probably work there, so I suggest either not saying there is wifi or getting wifi that will actually work. Great trip, mostly.

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay. We were celebrating her birthday and the accommodations were perfect. This campsite is secluded and quiet. We needed a canister of propane and Aimee came through for us using venmo. Quick and easy communication. I would suggest packing light for this campsite however, there are 2 steep hills to conquer if you use the provided wheel barrels it can be a bit strenuous. Also the solar lights inside the a-frame didn’t work and neither did the white bulb lights outside. We brought plenty of lighting so it wasn’t that big of a deal. The trails were fun to navigate during our stay, overall a beautiful property!

This campsite is perfect for a weekend getaway. The creek is one of the best we have been to, while there is a road that follows it the creek is beautiful! We fished using worms and caught over 20 in one day for 2 people (blue gill, small & large mouth bass). While the “outhouse” needs a little love, it works—we brought our own set up but it would work if you don’t have one. There is some road noise, but that doesn’t bother us.

3 nights at Whimsical Treehouses and Trails!!

We had such an amazing experience staying in the treehouse. The children loved the slide on the balcony and the giant net hammock. The treehouse is well-equipped with electrical lights, fans, outlets, a space heater, and an A/C window unit. There are several miles of hiking trails to explore on the property, and we enjoyed crossing the net bridge and seeing the ruins of the 19th-century settler's cabin. Everything looked just like the pictures, and my kids were so sad to leave--they said they want to live there forever!
