We are located 9 miles from Laurelville, 16.4 miles from Logan, 17 miles from Lancaster, 19 miles from Circleville, where stores and dinning are abundant and easily accessible. Please message me on the morning of your stay with an ETA so I can make sure I'm here to great you. RVers if you are coming in from US Rte 33 please use Buena Vista Rd. Buena Vista Rd is one exit after Oppossum Hollow if you are heading East on 33 and also one exit pass 374 if you are heading West on 33. GPS will usually route you onto Oppossum Hollow Rd or State Rte 374. The State Rte 374 route will have you turn onto Oppossum Hollow. Oppossum Hollow road is a one lane unlined rd and is not the best for RVs. Taking Buena Vista Rd will only add about a mile and a few minutes to your trip. Be advised Buena Vista is a very curvey road but is traveled by large vehicles all the time. Just take it slow and you will be fine. We have a dully truck and 45 ft rig that we bring in and out just fine. If you are coming in from the South (Chillicothe area.) From State Rte 180, please take Jack Run Rd. This is also a paved two lane road. All other roads in the area are single lane rds and are not the best for RVs (don't use Middlefork, Long Run, Stump Run, or Clapper Hollow off of State Rte 180). The site on top of the hill is a very secluded and mowed crest of hill surrounded by dogwood trees and the invasive Autumn Olive bushes, making this the most desirable site for getting full body sun, and shade when wanted in complete privacy. The site above the rxrwinery.com is a secluded, mowed clearing in the mature woods, making this a preferred site for privacy, shade and easy access to the winery. There are also 2 sites in the valley that allow you to be near your vehicle, one out in the open sun and near the driveway while the other is in the coolest spot on the property with a very nice rock formation to admire and secluded for privacy. While on my property, clothing is optional but respect for other campers is expected. Hiking the trails naked rarely encounters other people. Sunny Rest Skyview can accomodate an RV with no hookup, generator is allowed. This is a valley and may get soft after heavy rain. The cabin was built using wood from the farm. It has off-grid electricity meaning it is powered by batteries charged by solar panels. There is not sufficient power for devices with a heating element such as coffee makers and hair dryers. You may charge cell phones. For any other use, please check with the owner. Wild Life. There is an abundance of wildlife to be observed on the farm. Deer can be seen at dusk, raccoons can be seen going through your camp food at night (if you put it in your car), turkeys, hawks, vultures, rabbits, coyotes (heard screaming at night), frogs (especially heard at night), fish (jumping), and many song birds (my favorite, the bobolink, May and June only, nesting in the pastures). we are cycling across the usa and arrived at Glen’s beautiful property - the pond, the happy criollo cattle, the easy access to electrical and water hookups for our support RV. communication was clear, we were aware of the no toilet situation (apparently others aren’t aware of “no dump” here, understood as it is a pristine farm!). the quiet was much appreciated after a few campsites near train tracks and freeways. additionally the farm stand just up the road provided fresh eggs and after a text exchange, melissa baked us two loaves of banana bread and a sourdough loaf that we picked up in the morning. definitely, day 13 became a highlight of our 64 day adventure. thank you Glen (and baker down the road, Melissa!)

We love to stay at the ranch and visit with Glen, sarah and the cattle. We have been tree times and plan to make this our regular go to for camping. The view is spectacular, the property is emaculate, the owners are a delight and the peacefulness us abundant. We love the extra perk to buy the delicious organic grass-fed beef raised there. Then there is the nearby town of yellow springs with its quaint town with an artsy and trendy vibe, and adventurous and beautifal hiking trails. You must visit. You will be hooked!

Top notch Hipcamp experience. All of the arrival instructions were extremely well documented, touched base with the host, and they were absolutely fantastic and accommodating. The space is beautiful, and serene. This was our first time here, but I’m sure that all four seasons have something really special to offer. We would absolutely recommend this to anyone. Plenty of space to stretch out.

Enjoyable stay. Deb moved us to back area between 2 garage area because storms were moving in. Their yard looked like a lake next morning. Grove city has cute downtown with shops n restaurants. Would stay again! Easy to find and communications were prompt and helpful

Weekend Trip to Hilltop Resorts and Campgrounds

We loved camping at Hilltop over Halloween weekend. We went hiking in Hocking Hills on Saturday and had trick or treaters and decorated and won the best decorated contest! Karen was very thoughtful and had breakfast on Saturday morning. The only thing that I would change is the site itself. Some weren’t level but we adjusted our camper to be level. Bath house was great and clean with showers. We loved the dog park all fenced in at the top.

We really had a great time there. It was a perfect base camp for our adventures at the state park in the area. We were only there a couple of days, but we were quite impressed.

Weekend Trip to Green Plains Ranch

We brought our 25ft travel trailer, easy parking, nice to have electric and we were able to fill water. Beautiful and peaceful farm to stay for a couple of nights getaway. Glen was so nice and we were thankful for our time here and will hopefully be back!

Weekend Trip to Sky Lake Camping & Fishing

First place I stayed at using the Hipcamp app and was not disappointed. The grounds were very well maintained and clean. The lakes were beautiful. It was very quiet and could barely hear any road traffic. I would definitely return
