Our remote 375 acres part farm and part natural woodland nestled up to Daniel Boone Forest is ideal for hikers and nature lovers. There are several hiking trails onsite and plenty of woods to explore. ATVs or side by sides are welcome to be used on the main gravel roads and some designated areas of our property. There is plenty of wildlife but NO hunting is allowed. Some of our designated tent sites do have firepits and/or picnic tables. Our trek in sites do not have those options. Pets are welcome for $10 per pet/per booking and they do need to be leashed/under control at all times. This is an extra so please be sure to add that if you plan to bring your pet. Please pick up after them.
We are a short driving distance from West Liberty, Cave Run Lake, Grayson Lake, Carter Caves, Morehead, Natural Bridge and Red River Gorge.
We are approximately 20 minutes from the nearest store so you'll want to come prepared. We are located in West Liberty (Morgan County). There are 2 centrally located bathhouses with toilet, shower and sink and a hose for potable water. We have firewood for sale for $20 per stay and is an extra option when booking(use what you need during your stay and it is centrally located near bath houses) you can bring your own and you are welcome to gather from the surrounding area but please do not cut down any living trees/limbs.
There is a centrally located community building with a Wifi hotspot, streaming TV, Keurig, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster/air fryer, swing set, foosball table and darts.

Our mission is to take the rewards of our campground business and then "Spread Kindness" throughout the community to all. Especially to those families with kids that are fighting for a better tomorrow, but just can't seem to get ahead. We will announce our weeklong kids camp one day in the very near future and the partnerships we're creating that will impact young lives right here in our community. This is a funky little spot, don't be put off by the drive in. Mike has created a number (5?) of leveled gravel full hook up sites pretty close together, but very nice. Sweet communal fire pit right on a deck overlooking a little river. Fantastic bathroom with running hot water and shower! We would definitely camp here again. Thank you Mike.

Liz was a good host. She was very friendly and replied quickly to any messages. I liked the community area she had and the bath houses were nice. Great site for both tent and rv camping. We tent camped this time around. Plenty of dry firewood provided on site. The electric hookup had a 30amp to 15amp adapter for electrical needs and running water that tasted quite good too. Tranquility wildlife reserve is directly across the street - easy access. While the site is on a main road, the nights were quiet and traffic minimal. Mint mobile Cell service and still had signal.

Great site with lots of privacy. We enjoyed walking around all the trails on the property. Great setup with level, gravel pad to park on. We did not have to do any leveling. Lots of firewood to use. We enjoyed the little perks of the basketball hoop and axe throwing. We were fortunate enough to be there on a clear night that allowed for perfect stargazing. The surrounding countryside was beautiful adding to the experience. We definitely want to return.

We absolutely enjoyed our visit to Bear Pond. There are several spots that would be great to set up a tent but we decided to use Nola’s Cabin which was a perfect combination of amenities and very comfortable for the two of us. Easy to get to and very private. We loved being the only campers. The cooking area was nice to have and we were able to bring less stuff than we normally do which was great coming from 4 hours away. There’s loads to do in the area and stores close for supplies if needed. We can’t wait to come back and hopefully bring our family next time.

Very family oriented! The owner has a few family members with their campers there and everyone is amazing. I forgot propane and they let me use their grill in a heart beat. Owner is very nice and the site has water and full electric hookup. Everyone is really laid back in would highly recommend it here!
