This property is 180 acres of woods and mountains with streams and ponds.
Beautiful settings. If you like hiking in the mountains this will definitely hit the spot. YO can fish in the ponds it has blue gills and catfish. I also added grass carp there as part of weed management.
This used to be an abandoned farm which I want to bring back to life.
The site offers three luxury large Safari Style Tents and 4 Pioneer wagons.
All tents are far away from each other to provide privacy and freedom of going Wild (still remaining civilized in your manners and careful attitude to Nature around you).
Tent 1 is in the Forrest itself and it is pretty cook and serene.
Tent 2 is on the top of a rocky hill overlooking the forest.
Tent 3 is the most remote and closest to the ponds. It has most of the open space around it, and can be a great place for parties.
We are working on making the sites and the area more comfortable, but I do not want to make it a manicured park. I want it to remain wild and still offer comfortable stay.
The farm is work in progress. Eventually it will be an Ostrich farm. and have other animals too.
The closest town - Lenoir is about 12 miles away . Closest Grocery store (Dollar General) - about 3 miles away. Closest Gas station - 2 miles away.
Professional Tennis court, Basketball court and large kids playground are in a public park within - 5 minute drive.
Lenoir has restaurants, shopping, etc.
Hickory is a larger town about 25 minutes drive. Hickory Lake is a large reservoir with marina where you can rent a boat and it also offers a good game fishing.

Asheville is 1:25 hrs to the West, Charlotte is 1:25 hr to the East.

It is the perfect get away on a 2 acre wooded nature reserve in a rural neighborhood, quiet, peaceful and secluded. With walking trails and quiet sitting spots and a meditation room. We bought this amazing 2.5 acre wooded land with a spring and creek on it from our friends who already had a huge healing impact on the land. Troutman is a very quaint southern town very close to Mooresville, NC. It is smack in the middle of Charlotte and Hickory! So you can enjoy the mountains or the city or both from ONE LOCATION!! We are within driving distance to Lowe's Motor speedway and very close to many race teams located in Mooresville.
The downtown of Troutman is a short drive from your camp spot and there is a grocery store, drug store and many privately owned restaurants, including Italian, German and amazing fried chicken at Julia's! There is an ice cream parlor too!! Another wonderful asset to Troutman is Daveste' Vineyard where there is live music often, and of course wine tastings! This beautiful vineyard is less than 10 mins away.

It's a unique cozy loft style design, set back in the woods on our property. It's purposely placed next to a creek, with a nice stone fire ring to really enjoy the outdoors. In the cold months, it's heated by a wood burning stove. Also next to the house are logging roads that allow you to hike the Ripshin Mountains. We have always enjoyed quiet secluded campsites, river floats and sitting by the river. After years of looking all over the mountains for a river property we could call our own, our favorite spot on the river came up for sale. It just so happened it was nearly halfway between where we both grew up. After many sleepless nights worrying if we could succeed or not (it was much larger than properties we had been looking for), we bought it! Our favorite spot on the river was virtually inaccessible by any way other than floating. But after hundreds of hours of hard work, we think we have developed a place where others too can enjoy the things we do about the property. We dream big and Tellurian remains a work in progress, but we feel we have created a place where folks can enjoy the peacefulness of nature, the river and incredible views.
Naming our campground proved to be one of the most challenging tasks throughout the process of developing it. After many ideas and brainstorming sessions as a family, we decided to go with Tellurian. We know it’s a bit different; that’s what we like about it. We think our place stands out and, after visiting Tellurian, we think you’ll agree it does too.

We loved camping here! We’re hoping we can come back soon! The site was level and clean. Jenny was an amazing host that was very generous. All the dogs at the campground were our kids favorite part! The proximity to the river was perfect for our kids where it was a short walk away to access to the river but not immediate so we didn’t have to worry about water safety with the little ones. The river itself is gorgeous. Hookups were well maintained. Definitely recommend.

This was one of the most open beautiful spot ,the tent was the coolest. Good for a family gathering. . Big and open area. If you're the type that needs shade... bring a canopy. . Very cool host very helpful and made sure we had everything offered his help completely sweet owners. Next time I'm staying longer. Thank you . It was awesome!

We loved this spot. Truly camping, surrounded by wilderness and complete privacy. The road is def rugged but it made it that much more of an adventure. I have 2wd CR-V that did just fine, not sure a low clearance car would be too great. Directions were clear and the spot was perfect!

Wonderful camping site and hosts. Absolutely beautiful creek. We panned for gold in the creek (more for the experience than the hope of finding gold haha). Clean port-o-potty, garbage can w bag was nice, comfy chairs and a picnic table provided. We loved the shelter area as a hang out spot since we couldn’t have a fire due to the burn ban. We brought our dog and kept him on his leash. Dianne mentioned she was dog sitting for a neighbor and that doggy was a little protective pf her driveway. The sweet dogs came up to visit a lot…which was fine with us. We just had to shoo them off to protect our dog and they listened. (My dog is a little nervous around some dogs)
We had to leave a day early because we didn’t feel like camping in the rain.

Had a great experience with my family this past weekend. For some of the it was their first experience camping and the spot was great for that. The creek was fun enough for the kids and adults to walk through and explore. The host was incredibly helpful and had firewood ready available to purchase, it was some really good sized firewood.

This was my first Hipcamp experience and it was great. This is an AMAZING location - very near Merlefest (Wilkesboro, NC), and I was the only car camping here.
This is on a farm, in a field, with a creek and cows. There are port-a-potties that I didn't check out, an ice machine in a shed (free to use) and a really nice tree swing that overlooks the crick and the cows. There are fairy lights along the paths.
The owner has been a wonderful communicator, and everything was great. I would definitely recommend this to anyone (especially the Merlefest people out there!!!!!)

This was my favorite Hipcamp stay so far! Tina met us at the edge of the property and showed us the way to our site which was very helpful. She was kind enough to let us choose from several available sites! The views and facilities were so impressive. I would definitely recommend staying!

This campground was the perfect stay to disconnect and enjoy nature. Jud was so very welcoming and even brought our dogs treats when we first arrived. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend. So many beautiful views and hikes.
