Weekend Trip to Container Experience

We enjoyed beautiful sunsets at this fun Beatle’s- themed tiny house community. Kathy had everything we needed there, and those staying in other units were friendly. It was perfect for our Spring Break college tour trip, being close to Elon, Chapel Hill, and Duke.

Beautiful site with everything you could need! This was our first glamping experience and it definitely will not be our last. My husband and I were Clover I and our two kids were in Clover II. The private bathroom with mini fridge and coffee maker made cleanup and meal prep so easy. The site was so quiet and peaceful!

We absolutely loved staying on Alicia’s property. The area was so peaceful and beautiful…it was just the break that we needed. The tent itself was adorable, and had all the creature comforts. Even our (well traveled) kids said this was much better than a hotel room. :) The bathroom was incredible, with a shower I wish I had at home! Highly recommend. 👍🏼

From the moment we got there, till the time we left was absolutely wonderful!!! The tent was better the photos, exceptionally clean, incredibly comfortable and more than I expected. The bathroom facility was as well fantastic! The kids loved it, our dog had the best time and with the exception of being covered in tree pollen for 3 days, we all had an amazing weekend. Alicia was an awesome host!!!!

Enjoyed a wonderful springtime glamping getaway at Sugarneck! The Clover cabins and bathhouse were clean, cozy, well equipped, and private. Favorite amenities included the mini fridge, Solo Stove fire pit and firewood, strong wifi, towels and toiletries, and coffee machine. My dog and I loved exploring the beautiful property and venturing out to hike at nearby San-Lee Nature Park, Raven Rock State Park, and Harris Lake Park during the day before relaxing around the campfire each evening! A tired dog is a happy dog. :) Looking forward to a return trip!

Liz’s property is a working horse farm. When I arrived, Tom, Liz’s husband, showed me around and I got a peek at a foal that was only 3 1/2 days old. The next day, young foal was running around with its mother. People occasionally come to ride the horses around the farm. They also have a pride of beautiful peafowl grazing the property, as well as a few dogs and uncounted cats. Liz and Tom are extremely friendly, but give guests respect for the rented space. The water hookup is very tasty well water. 120V plug accomodated me until I turned on the toaster oven when I blew the circuit breaker. I consider that my bad. Electric fences are rife, so watch your children and dogs! I would spend more time here if I could. Just about 30 minutes south of Fayetteville, and nearer to other amenities, I find it very convenient for groceries, the gym, home improvement store, hardware, etc. Five stars all the way!

What a delightful place! Very quiet and peaceful. Beautiful grounds with local wildlife making appearances. The kids loved the gaming room and supplies. The tents and bathrooms were clean with air and heat. Just a couple of miles from shopping if you need supplies. Only 25 minutes from Raleigh. We had a blast and are looking forward to staying here again. Alicia was wonderful, very responsive to messages. They made sure we had everything we needed to have the best stay possible.

I loved the covered wagon! We stayed in Swamp Rose The preview pictures were spot on, clean, spacious, heater/AC, mini fridge, mini microwave, coffee, hot chocolate, hot tea, 4 bottles of water, smores, towels ! It was so fun! We built a fire, toasted the smores , talked with the neighbors The rest rooms were clean and spacious Checking in and out was a breeze

Our stay On Liz's land was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, the friendly host made us feel right at home, with a gift bag of homemade goat cheese and strawberry jam. Their hospitality truly set the tone for our trip. One of the highlights of our stay was the opportunity for horse riding. The kids absolutely loved it, and it was a fantastic experience for the whole family. Additionally, we had the chance to feed the animals on the farm, which was delightful and educational experience for the little ones. Overall, Honeysuckle Alley is a family-friendly oasis that provides fun activities and a peaceful atmosphere. We can’t wait to come back and create more memories! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Very quiet and beautiful! We enjoyed the campfire all weekend, our sleeping quarters were warm and comfy! The game room was awesome. My kids are already asking to come back since dad got sick at last minute and couldn’t accompany us.

My husband is retired from the Air Force and works full time doing the chores. I retired May 2024 from being a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner at Womack Army Medical Center. I have a side hobby making homemade jams, pickles and flavored goat cheese spreads. We love the peacefulness of where we live...although the weather chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, guinea fowl, peacocks, goats and horses do get a little loud come feeding time. We have different sites, please read each description or message me before you book a stay. All the sites have an 8pm latest check in unless you've stayed with us before. With the cold snap we have been experiencing the RV water source will freeze up over night. Please message me before booking the RV. We are constantly looking for ways to upgrade or make our farm more fun to visit.

Just a quick 2 minute walk from your covered wagon will also bring you to an on-site restaurant and bar: The Riverside Restaurant & Bar. The Riverside has a full bar, delicious, stone-fired pizza, smashed burgers, fresh salads and sandwiches, and more! They may also have live music performances throughout the spring and summer months. Raven Rock State Park is just a 15 minute drive away. Surrounding towns like Fuquay-Varina, Angier, and Holly Springs offer more shops and restaurants if Lillington doesn't have enough for you! The Cozy Hobbit House

We are a family owned horse farm managed by a USDF Bronze medalist where horses are boarded, trained with lessons given. The Hobbit House, as the name implies, is small and cozy and, if you really like each other, it can accommodate two. There is a double bed, a bathroom with a sink, toilet and shower. In the kitchen there is a microwave, coffeemaker, and small fridge. It is supplied with dishes, silverware, cups, and there are condiments in the refrigerator. Outside there is a picnic table and charcoal grill. We are a 15 min. drive to the Weymouth Woods Nature Preserve that has several levels of trails ranging from inexperienced to experienced hikers. We are 5 min. away from the Carolina Horse Park, and 20 min. from Pinehurst, where there are renowned golf courses, and 15 min. away from the quaint Southern town of Southern Pines. We are also 2 hours from NC and SC beaches and 3 hours from the mountains.

Jackson Farm Guest House

This farm has been in my family since Thomas Jefferson was president. I began management of the farm in 1980 and remodeled an old farmhouse into a guest house for a family or for couples to find an escape from the chaos of city life and the modern world generally. The house sits on a gated, 10 acre wildlife preserve, beside a 3 acre pond, which adjoins our 100 acres of fields and forest. Our entire farm is in a conservation easement so it can never be developed, and we are one of the few private properties on the NC Wildlife Resources Commission "Birding Trail"; we have documented over 100 species of birds here in different seasons of the year. Our pond, private for guest house users, offers good fishing and we provide a boat. We also have over 2 miles of walking trails through our woodland and along the pond. Although we permit no outdoor fires, we do have a fireplace in the house and furnish free, seasoned firewood. We grow organic vegetables, alliums, and fresh herbs, along with a great many flowers to attract pollinators. Because some of our guests are allergic to pet dander, and because pets often frighten the wildlife away, we do not accept any pets here, nor do we own any ourselves. Learn more about this land: We offer a two bedroom private guest house with central heat and air, situated in a 10 acre, gated wildlife preserve which adjoins our 100 acre farm and which overlooks a private fishing pond (with boat). We promise no TV, radio, newspaper, telephone or internet connection, but do have a small library in the house. For the convenience of the ladies, the kitchen has no stove but does have a large, sheltered smoker/grill (charcoal provided) on a covered patio beside the kitchen, a full power microwave, and all other kitchen amenities, including a French press with a bean grinder and electric kettle; we also provide our own blend of fresh roasted coffee beans as well as tea, herb tea, chocolate and popcorn. The bathroom has a large claw footed tub and we provide bath salts and fresh organic herbs for the bath. There is a working fireplace and we provide seasoned hardwood for it. Guests may enjoy our farm which offers about two miles of woodland trails and abundant wildlife and birds but no domestic animals. NO pets are permitted at the guest house because many guests have allergies to animal dander. In short, it is a place for individuals, couples and families to find ease, to enjoy a bit of peace, quiet, and privacy and to go home refreshed, restored, relaxed. The house is so private it has a shower on the screened porch overlooking the pond. We are a little over an hour from historic Wilmington and several beach resorts, only 30 minutes from Fayetteville with museums, a fine botanical garden, and Fort Bragg, and very close to both I-95 and I-40 interstate highways.
