Great environment! I really enjoyed the homey feel to the camp ground. We got away for a weekend and it was an awesome Experience. If you love dogs, her dogs stayed with us for most the night! They are so sweet and not aggressive! Lots of things to do! I would highly recommend!

We had a lovely experience at the Babbling Brook Treehouse! We went with our two children, who loved playing hide-and-seek and walking across the slackline. We even met the animals and got a chance to milk a goat! Elizabeth is a GEM—such a kind and welcoming host. I expect that we will return again, and I would recommend it!

We enjoyed our stay in Miranda's camper. Our kids loved the experience of sleeping in a camper, ample enough for a family of 4. We enjoyed the marshmallows Miranda had left for us to enjoy by the fire, that was graciously ready with firewood. The location is great as well, near to all the stores in Denver.

My goodness, we found a gem! Elizabeth and Mark (and of course their doggo Seth who is on the welcoming committee!) were also gems - very kind, accommodating, sincere, and thoughtful! The sound of the brook was so lovely, the privacy was perfect, the setup was a perfect balance of woodsy and convenient, the price was so good, all of the solar lighting and cute signs everywhere were so inviting, and all of the amenities provided (chairs, hammocks, cookware, etc) made packing so much less stressful which is exactly what you want for a mini vacation! We really were just looking for a serene place to camp and this was exactly that. The location was perfect as we went there to mountain bike at Warrior Creek. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend it! :)

2 nights at The Barn Loft

We loved this farm! The rolling pastures are beautiful, it was a delight to see and talk to all of the animals. Brittany was very accommodating, providing us with some wood for the burn barrel. This is not meant to be a negative comment, buy if you stay during cold snaps, I highly suggest you layer up. As cozy, clean, and cute as the loft is, it does not get warm in the least when it's in the 20s. We layered up, brought extra sleeping bags so we were fine. The animals in the barn below have their idea of noise level. Ha! We appreciate farm life, so none of the various noises bothered us. It was quite amusing. The bathroom downstairs is very rustic, but clean. We didn't have the opportunity to check out the outdoor shower. We will definitely return!

5 nights at Hidden CLT Wilderness

This was my first ever glamping experience and i couldn’t be more happy about it. This camper is in a quiet wooded neighborhood. Absolutely beautiful inside and out. Miranda and her husband(whose name i cannot remember for the life of me) were perfect hosts! They thought of absolutely everything to make my stay cozy and relaxing. Even when i had silly questions, her response time was very quick and she helped with anything needed. I also had my dog with me and even she said this was 5 stars. Definitely would recommend!

I incredible venue and even better hosts. Highly recommend for anyone looking to have a secluded weekend with the option of having a night out on the town. The spot is dog friendly with plenty of space to roam.

This was a memorable weekend with my children. Dara was so accommodating and her farm and animals were a highlight! We borrowed one of her horses Darci for the weekend, who stayed in the riding ring with us, while we camped in her school bus! She has peacocks, and allowed me to collect some feathers! I would love to stay again! Thanks Dara!!!

Babbling Brook Campground

Before the Kerr Scott Reservoir was built, in the 40's and 50's, this neighborhood was a local swimming hole and vacation area. Public buses came from neighboring communities so people could boat, swim, camp, and picnic. While we don't have access to the pond, our part of this land still is calling out to people, 'Come, rest, unload your burdens, and find peace.' When we started this project with Hipcamp, we didn't fully realize that we were reconnecting with the history on this property. So, come, take your shoes off, and wade in the creek. Read a book while laying in a hammock. Sit by the fire and chat with family and friends. Come and participate in our little homesteading project, and leave your burdens behind. LOCAL ACTIVITIES: To the west is the Blue Ridge Parkway, which is 30 minutes away. 15 minutes away is Kerr Scott Dam where you can rent kayaks, pontoon boats, as well as other sporting equipment. Fish, go mountain biking on the extensive trails, and hiking. Prayer Mountain is right up the road, about 2 miles away. Heading east, you can find several fine wineries andvineyards that you can visit. There is also a moonshine distillery in town. About a half hour away is an Amish community that has several businesses open to the public, including the Shiloh Bakery and General Store. They are closed on Sunday and Monday. To the northeast, about 45 minutes away, is Stone Mountain. Absolutely fantastic hiking, it is also an old homestead that has been renovated and is open to the public. To the south, there is Rocky Face Park, where there is hiking and rock climbing. Nearby, is Emerald Hollow Mine, where you can go and find, and keep, precious stones you find in the nearby river. There is also a great disk course course, Highland Hills Disc Golf Course, one of the top 25 in the country. There is fun for all ages. Merlefest, the last weekend of April, is a world class Bluegrass festival, is located right in our town. Be sure to look at the activities section below for additional information.

Located in the riding ring of my horse farm. Pretty much the center of all the farm activities. It's quiet and off to the side, under a shade tree. Pastures with creek are outback. There's a shower and bath just a short walk away. Bar area with lighting and electrical accessible! Several tables provided for outdoor dining. I provide a small camping stove, firepit, and 2 Mr Buddy heaters to keep you comfortable. SHEETS BUT NO OTHER BEDDING PROVIDED. If you get cold easily, bring your own sleeping bags and blankets. 2 towels with provided also. Coffee and coffee pot available. Small cooler provided along with a trashcan. Take the opportunity to stay in a one of a kind Farm Store loft on a real working farm. Crossings is a true market farm that has been in our family for over 11 generations. While the main focus of Crossings is always to be a community farm, we love opening our home and farm to respectful visitors. The loft is over our farm store and accessed by a curved staircase (no door between) . The farm setting offers a comfy spot for someone looking for a quiet spot to relax and rest after a day exploring out and about. The cozy space it perfect for 2 people who are looking for a unique spot to get away from the hustle and bustle of their normal lives. The farm store space on the first floor is a public area that is frequented by our regular customers during the day, especially on Saturdays. We allow our Airbnb guests to lock the farm store from 6pm to 9am each night for ultimate privacy and enjoyment of the space. There is a bistro table can that be used for picking up take-out or a simple meal cooked on the wood stove or outdoor grill. The back porch is a perfect spot to enjoy a nice rock in our Troutman Co. rocking chairs while listening to the farm sounds and seeing our crew gather eggs, move the cows, or re-stock the Farm Store. Not in the mood to hike into a spot? You can pull straight into the driveway and park to the left of the farm store. Other things to note **Please note that you are staying on a working family farm. There are multiple farm animals (chickens, pigs, cows, horses, farm dogs and cats) that are in close proximity to the Farm Store. We ask that you maintain and do not go into the fenced areas, greenhouses or our barns for biosecurity. We also ask that you not feed the animals, even though they may come up to the fence. *We do have farm workers (including ourselves) who are in and round the farm all day feeding animals, tending to the garden areas, filling orders and re-stocking the farm store. All of our team will maintain social distancing, but feel free to ask any questions of them while you are here. *Saturdays are our "busier" days on the farm. Our Farm Store is "open" and staffed that day for our regular customer needs. We are normally cutting wood, moving animals, fixing fence, building structures, re-stocking the farm store, mowing and weed eating. *If you have any concerns around our Farm Loft stay, please reach out to us prior to booking so that we can answer any questions with transparency. We have tried to give you an honest picture of what our Farm Stay is like since we are a very active working farm.
