Super beautiful place, private and has pond and bathroom. Well maintained!

Phillip's property was absolutely perfect! Great shade throughout the day, but plenty of sun around too for solar or warming up after a chilly night. The most private/peaceful hipcamp on my journey this spring. The outdoor shower was perfect with plenty of hot water. The small bathhouse was so nice, with fridge and freezer space if needed as well. (Every hipcamp should offer this to travelers!!) I slept soundly after watching fireflies dance around the pond and listening to the frog symphony. I absolutely hope to stay again sometime!!

Our stay was great. The love shake was a great size four two and two dogs. She has very helpful amenities throughout the camp spot. The dogs loved the creak and the trail. The trail was about a 15 minute walk, a must do. She was very responsive and accomidating. The outhouse looks intimidating on the pictures but it was very nice. Clean and no odor at all. The showers were great, clean and plenty of hot water.

Weekend Trip to Papa's Farm

Great place to stay and was very accommodating of us getting there relatively late. Only has a composting toilet but better than nothing. Would definitely recommend staying here if hanging rock state park is booked up. Plus it has better cell service and a view of pilot mountain.

Wow! Another great stay at Harmon Creek Farms! Stayed at spot 11 super private but great access to the road. Scott, Cheryl, and the fam were great to see again. Grabbed steaks from the farm store and grilled them up over an open flame for a great birthday dinner! Can’t wait to go back AGAIN!

Weekend Trip to Kohler Farms-A Shire Horse...

Another great camping trip to Kohler Farms on the books! We had colder than expected weather, rain, and a little mud but that did not stop us from having a great time. Sitting by the creek listening to the water trickle while watching the gorgeous horses directly across from it was so soothing and relaxing. This is one of our favorite spots. We are looking forward to coming back again.

Wes and Caitlin were incredibly welcoming hosts! Their little country club is such a charming spot—peaceful, cozy, and full of character. We arrived pretty late, but the directions were super clear, and they thoughtfully left the lights on for us, which made settling in a breeze. We had a lovely stay and left feeling totally recharged and ready to hit the road again. Can’t wait to come back for a longer camping trip next time. Thank you both for the hospitality!

Magical Farm setting. My kids absolutely loved the cabin and all the farm animals. The owners are lovely humans. This was a memorable break from the suburbs. My kids fell in love with their cat named Garr.

My stay was short, as I arrived after 6pm in the rain and left by 9am. Everything seemed fine. I would have enjoyed staying a bit longer in the morning to enjoy the many birds around my site. (I heard an owl just outside at night!)I also would have loved to have roamed the farm a bit to check out the animals and whatever else was there.

This place is amazing, well off the road and quiet. It did rain, so the owner allowed us to park on the driveway, which was just as good as being in the field. They really have a hidden gem out here. Their driveway is super long and adds to the feeling of being even more hidden away from society...it was an easy drive in, plenty of room. They have big plans for the area out there and I see them having nothing but success!

We genuinely enjoyed staying here. The family greeted us with smiles, giving us a tour around the property. We stayed in the shade and got to fish. Different types of fish too! Only caution, ticks. Within the first few minutes of setting up camp myself and my Sister In Law had a tick on us. So, make sure you have repellent.

Our native trees and crops could easily be devastated by outside diseases or pests that are carried in firewood. We offer firewood for sale from our farm (delivered to your site for no additional fee). You do NOT have to purchase it prior to your arrival, just let us know how much you will need so we will have it ready for you. Our new CAMP STORE offers firewood (delivered to your site!) , meats and eggs from our farm, Tallow & lard (both rendered right here!), drinks, Amish made ice cream and jams/jellies/preserves, hammocks, hammock chairs, smoked dog bones, soaps (made right here), rentals of: cast iron cookware, a tent, Coleman stove, fishing poles, ... and MUCH MORE! Please note that all our sites are reserved with a one vehicle limit. Some sites are large enough to accommodate additional vehicles but each additional vehicle will incur a $10 per night charge. Once roamed by Native Americans and now farmed by the same family for over 6 generations, Harmon Creek Farm is a working farm of over 150+ acres. Peace, quiet, tranquility and privacy are overflowing along the creek, and hiking throughout the hills on the backside of the farm (and on the other side of the creek) leads to interesting and abundant flora and fauna. The stocked, spring fed pond is 'brimming" with angler challenges🎣 Our cows, pigs, sheep, donkeys, chickens, ducks, quail, and geese are all eager to meet you, as are we! The Saxapahaw Country Club is a beautiful 31-acre working farm and event space. Located just a few minutes from Saxapahaw Village, it's a convenient and gorgeous place to stay. While we are happy to be a late-night crash spot for after shows, we hope you stay a minute to walk the fields, hang in the hammocks, sit by the pond, or take a swing from the branches of our 200 year old White Oak tree. You'll come down our curvy driveway through the trees, and see our event barn on the left. In front of the barn is a communal space for campers to enjoy with a great view. This area has a fire pit, chairs, wood-fired grill, handwashing station, and farm table. Please note, this farm stay is an agritourism activity subject to the limit of liabilities as described in N.C.G.S § 99E‑32(b). We have sheep and pigs and a donkey rotating through pastures behind electric fencing. You are welcome to look but don't touch the fence! We also have 3 very friendly farm cats. Pork from the farm is available for purchase, as well as firewood. Solo travelers, families, and romantic getaway travelers: This is a very private and safe place to camp! Because we only have 1 site, you will be alone in the space the entire time. My family lives on the premises so we are here in case of an emergency. My daughter and I own this 35 acre secluded piece of heaven just minutes from Winston-Salem, Hanging Rock State Park, and other attractions. We are pet friendly (if your pet does not play well with our dogs or horses, please leave them on a leash or at home). Our Shire horses are endangered and very BIG! We hope you have time to say hello to the horses during your visit. NOTE: we do NOT provide electric at the campsite; you are allowed to use a generator.
