Great place to stay, nice hosts, more than adequate amenities included

My mother, sister and niece (7 yrs old) absolutely loved this place for my nieces first camping trip. They have gone above and beyond to make a beautiful place to stay and to make you feel right at home. I suggest using the wood, charcoal and ice they provide at a low cost. It just makes easier for yourself and they will deliver it right to you. We loved it so much we already booked the cabin for fall camping in October. We cannot wait to escape the heat of the coast in early October and enjoy the fall at The Dancing Pig.

I had a great time. Nice quiet set up, dogs were allowed to run, clean and close to Hanging Rock park. The creek created nice ambiance. Will definitely stay there again!

We loved staying in the little cabin! Peaceful and relaxing property with farm animals. My son and I had a great time kayaking, cooking outdoors and sitting by the fire at night. Definitely would plan another trip back! Darrel and Natalie were great hosts!

Weekend Trip to Container Experience

Everything you could possibly need for an enjoyable time!! Efficient use of space to provide all utensils necessary for food prep and a prefect evening. Or great dining just 1 mile away. A relaxing spacious outdoors patio for enjoyment.

This is a true slice of heaven created by Natalie and Darrell. The farm animals were adorable and hanging by the creek all day was unforgettable. This is truly a place to unwind and unplug.

2 nights at Marshall Creek Farm

We loved our time at Darin & Beth’s tiny Cabin in the woods.The cabin and the bathroom facilities were exceptionally clean.The Cabin is surrounded by nothing but lovely forest with no neighbors in sight.There is a short loop trail with a beautiful little creek that our dog enjoyed.Wildlife is abundant and can be seen and heard.The directions are easy to follow and we had no issues getting inside the cabin.Highly recommend.Very friendly hosts as well.

We enjoyed beautiful sunsets at this fun Beatle’s- themed tiny house community. Kathy had everything we needed there, and those staying in other units were friendly. It was perfect for our Spring Break college tour trip, being close to Elon, Chapel Hill, and Duke.

Such a beautiful place. Owners were the sweetest. Kids loved roaming the property and seeing the animals. All the personal touches really made this getaway special.

If you want good quality unplugged "togetherness" time with family and to get back to nature, then Marshall Creek is your destination. Cabin is nice and cozy, and the bed is incredibly comfortable and gave a great night's sleep. We will definitely be visiting Marshall Creek Farm again and again! Darin Helms

Magical Farm setting. My kids absolutely loved the cabin and all the farm animals. The owners are lovely humans. This was a memorable break from the suburbs. My kids fell in love with their cat named Garr.

My stay was short, as I arrived after 6pm in the rain and left by 9am. Everything seemed fine. I would have enjoyed staying a bit longer in the morning to enjoy the many birds around my site. (I heard an owl just outside at night!)I also would have loved to have roamed the farm a bit to check out the animals and whatever else was there.

We really enjoyed staying here, but I’m very grateful we brought along our tent because the cabin was infested with bugs which made it inhabitable. But everything else was perfect! We loved the outdoor shower and private access to the creek for launching our kayaks. There was a little more noise and light pollution than we cared for (could hear vehicles from highway 24/7) and of course the donkey and roosters but that was expected, and comical! The property is beautiful and it was a great weekend 🩷
