This is a running 7 acre Christian micro-farm/ranch in York, South Carolina, 45-60 minutes S. from Charlotte NC. We do things differently here than what you may expect at typical religious organizations. Our values are encompassed by bringing Christ into every day reality where His love shines 24/7. We have chickens, sheep, dogs, cats, and wildlife.Learn more about this land:The property is picturesque with pastures, a classic red barn, a chapel, and organic garden space. You will enjoy a peaceful meandering creek, old growth trees, rolling hills, fields, meadow, and animals... serene and beautiful. This sacred space is a balance between primitive camping, and just a short walk away for modern amenities. There are restrooms, showers, laundry, coffee, and WiFi available at your request in the chapel. 

Relaxing farm Retreat

This is a working farm.  The heart of the farm are our Scottish Highlander cattle! Guest love to sit for hours watching the cattle graze and are amazed at how docile the cattle are. We also raise goats and have horses, donkeys, sheep, chickens and peafowl that you may see roaming around the farm. We love sharing our farm and farm animals with other people. Most animals are in their pasture and guest are welcome to enjoy the animals from outside the fences. 
We think you will love the beauty of the farm as much as we do. We love all animals and we welcome your pets but we ask that they remain on leash to protect the farms animals and to protect your pets.  We have seen coyotes, fox and hawks at times.

camp sites. We also have minimal light pollution, so our skies are beautiful for
viewing the stars. We offer trails through natural wooded habitat with hidden gems of nature.
Wildlife viewing throughout. There are feed locations to increase viewing opportunities.

We offer primitive tent camping, Glamping Tents and a Cabin. Glamping and cabin have a private Mountain View, fire pit area, Queen bed, Night Stand (built in phone charger), Desk area, interior and exterior lighting, heater and fan (powered by solar system).

As a part of Starlight Hills Campground you have access to filtered drinking water, common overlook (w/ BBQ pits & picnic tables), trails, bathroom and showers.

Adin`s river cabin

My property consists of a ridge running east to west with the access road running along the south border.  the land slopes up to the ridge for about 300 feet, and then down to the river for about 800 feet.  The south side of the ridge has a small pond close to the road.  The rest is pasture, and an orchard and small vineyard.  The north side of the ridge is old growth timber, and shady and cool.  The two cabins are along the river.  One is perched on a ridge over looking the river and the other is right on the river.  The swimming hole is 30 feet from the lower cabin.  There is room for a couple campsites along the river also.  The south side of the ridge was a cotton farm decades ago, but was covered in timber when I bought it 12 years ago.  The north side has been in timber for the known history of the property.
