Due some little furry friends getting into our shed, we weren't able to camp this weekend. We were looking forward to it! From the brief conversations I had with Sanford, he seemed polite, generous and helpful. When we get the chance, we will book again and try to actually enjoy his property!

Sanford was very accommodating, with a last minute booking. He met us at the site as we were setting up and answered any questions we had, he was quick to respond to any questions we had about the area or the site as well throughout our visit. The camping spot was a perfect get away secluded and all to ourselves. It was pretty close to town as well if we needed to grab something. Great spot to unwind and relax!

We loved the site! There was plenty of room and all amenities worked as they should. We enjoyed the land but more importantly, we enjoyed our time! The icing on the cake was conversing with our neighbors and making friends! Oh, and we saw dolphins, crabs and a little otter!

Weekend Trip to Escape near Cape Lookout
This spot was perfect! Right on the water, spot to dock your kayaks and super great scenery. We woke up looking at the bay with beautiful cranes and deer around us. Weather was perfect and we were able to go down to the dock and sit in the sun while fishing. We didn’t even leave the campground and had all we needed!

Patrick and his wife were very welcoming and helpful. It was my first time in town and Patrick send me a list of dog friendly restaurants/ attractions, as I had my pup with me. Additionally, their mass of land was perfect for my pup to run around freely and safely. The location is about 17 minutes from free parking to a beach which was perfect for us! Will be staying there again if we are ever back in town.

Very nice host! Fun site lots of things to do like canoe and kayak at no cost! Tons of great fishing close by we never cast a line without getting something at every spot. The campground is newer and being improved. The showers and toilets were clean and useable. It’s more primitive than a state park but not boondocks and you have water views!

We had a great time at this camp. The host was very welcoming and friendly, he made sure we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The spot was level and beautifully shaded by huge old trees, making it nice and cool on a hot day. Absolutely recommend this location.

2nd time here. Love this spot. Great for a quick overnight camp after work. Only 10 min from my house. Very peaceful property. Loved the addition of the picnic bench!!! Would highly recommend.

We loved our stay at Crockett Landing! What a magical place and memories for our family. We loved campsite 5, it felt like a private island with plenty of room for our 8-person tent. We enjoyed walking the trails on the property, climbing up to the tree fort to stargaze at night, and campfires with s’mores. Paul was a gracious host and has created such a special place which respects the land, but provides nice amenities for a relaxed camping adventure.
