We had a wonderful time, the camp was lovingly maintained. They had everything we needed from plates to silverware and cooking utensils to pans. There was a lot of local wildlife that wandered through including a hunting marmot. It was an amazing time away from it all and cannot recommend it enough

We had a fantastic time at Jamink farm, it is just a picture perfect cozy cabin by a pond. Lots of activities to do, there are kayaks, paddleboards, canoe at your disposal. The cabin is equipped with everything you could want. We highly recommend the breakfast bundle, all the items were fresh and yummy!! Definitely adding to our favourite escapes.

This bunkie caught the sunlight at all times of day beautifully, we were fortunate with good weather to spend a lot of time outside and on the porch :)

Victor was an amazing host! Always there if we had any questions, very welcoming. Give us a tour when we arrived, his wife Julia cooked us a typical Ukrainian rabbit stew which was excellent. Would definitely come back!

My sister and I had a wonderful time! Granted it was incredibly hot, but the cool swimming pond fixed that during the day and the fan in the cabin eased the heat at night. The cabin had a BBQ, camp stove, and firepit. Plates, utensils, kettle, cups, mini fridge, etc. Even the composting toilet was conveniently next to the cabin with motion sensor lighting. No stumbling around in the dark at night. You can't park at your cabin but the owner will cheerfully haul you and your gear to it, in his zippy UTV. There are also some gorgeous big dogs that roam freely around the forest grounds. If they see you, they may pop up for a quick pat, then mosey on their way. It was enchanting.

The camp site is absolutely wonderful, the cabin is cozy and there is a very campfire nice seating area next to it (the fairy lights that turn up at night makes the whole area really pretty) Julia was a great host, she answered all my questions and was super helpful Would come back next week if I could Definitely ask for eggs for breakfast

Map is direct. Clear and simple instructions provided to navigate farm. Greeted upon arrival and welcomed to contact them if needed. Three main paths: left-boats, middle-windmill path (cabin), right: off grid. Animals: horses, cows, chicken coop. The grounds were organized and clean. Cabin: dressed beds, coffee grounds, stove top coffee pot, tea bags, peanut butter pretzels, bowls, plate, utensils and cooking gear, wash bucket, cloths, first aid kit, cleaning wipes, paper towel, toilet paper, salt and pepper. There’s a lock on the door(inside)! Fan and charger works-solar powered (1/2 nights). Outside: lights-to the potty. Clean garbage, camping chairs, Adirondack chairs (the turquoise ones rock), laundry lines, kids life jacket, basic fishing gear. Water in insulated jug they give you stayed cold even in sun 2 days. Potty is clean, sand for stools, towel, toilet paper, hand sanitizer, lock. Boats: canoe, kayaks, pedal boat, paddle boards, different oars. Cows walk by around cabin around 7pm. Dogs ran around cabin and paths safely. Bugs were only present in forest and at night (if window/door left open). Heard coyote-no issues. Walked around farm-didn’t see a soul (only cows). Heard their dog a couple of times barking quietly.They are far enough that your dogs won’t run into her unless you go meet her-she’s friendly. Lake is refreshing, clean, turtles, small fish. RENT IT!!!!!

We loved seeing all of the wildlife and farmstock that would just hang out around the cabin. We would definetly recommend the tour! Our guides were very knowledgable about what they do and showed us some on the best looking calves and chickens youll see around. A wonderful experience all around.

Weekend Trip to Cedar fox Farm

What a beautiful spot! It was rustic and cozy, with everything you need to make lifelong memories of a fun experience. I brought along my two young sons and we all had the best time. Of course, we brought extra warm sleeping bags to keep warm, with extra socks and hoodie sweaters, but we knew to be prepared at this time of year. The other thing we expected at this time of year was the swarm of mosquitos. We brought along two Thermacells that worked great, had lots of bug spray with us, brought a battery operated electric bug zapper to get rid of any mosquitos that joined us in the treehouse and brought a hanging bug screen to cover all of our chairs so we could enjoy sitting outdoors without any bugs getting us. I would recommend the same to anyone visiting in May. The joys of being outdoors! Haha. Our experience here was great. From all of the added amenities, to the beauty of the structure, along with the luxury porta-potty, you can’t go wrong! Side note: for an added fun experience, check out Rockin Rhonda’s Diner only 10 minutes away in Avonmore, for ice cream or a bite to eat. The locals are so friendly!

Weekend Trip to Northfield Flower Farm

Amazing experience! The yurt is gorgeously hand painted, set in a beautiful mature forest, with hundreds of trilliums blooming everywhere. The mattress was comfy and warm, we grilled our supper on the fire outside and watched the stars peek out over head. On the way back through the path, you get a beautiful view of the farm and then we were greeted by cows who came running for head scratches. What a wonderful stay, I hope to be back soon.

I had an incredible time at The Goose! This was my second time staying there and I loved it both times. My dogs enjoy it so much. I’m very thankful to have found somewhere that my dogs are welcome. This is a great halfway point location for me to stay when travelling to New Brunswick. The cabin is always very clean and everything is set up. I can’t wait to go back!
