Host Victor and his family are the most welcoming. This was our second year booking a trip to their domain, and it was just as wonderful as the first time. We stayed in the beautiful treehouse this time. It was really spacious and had a lot of amenities (board games, coloring books for the kids, eggs, honey, etc.). They were very kind and offered fresh vegetables from their garden. We played at the lake and had a great time. We will definitely be coming back for sure.

The host has done a breathtaking job with the treehouse and it's surroundings. They provide multiple cabins according to the number of guests. We were 10 people so we ended up getting 'sunflower' which is the biggest treehouse they have and we had a really great time and I would definitely visit again.

The futon was not comfortable for sleeping or sitting. Would like to be be told if have poison ivy or hogweek.

What a little paradise! We got to meet the lovely Anastasia herself on our arrival and got the tour of the property (stunning!). The cabin was so darling, with fresh eggs and a little pot of honey inside to welcome us. The bonfire pit was just outside, and there was a ton of fresh water and honestly everything we could have possibly needed. We got to pick some tomatoes, apples, go swim in the water hole, have a bonfire, and see the stars. I can't wait to return! Thanks Victor and Anastasia, it was a dream!

We wanted to take our toddler for his first camping experience, it was a great spot. All you need to bring is clothing and food for your stay, everything else is there!

This place has everything: beautiful surroundings, the pond is great for swimming, there is a lake with beach and a big park walking distance, our toddler couldn’t be happier, my husband did some fishing, he couldn’t be happier as well. The cabine had everything you can possible think you need, it was cosy and quiet, right in the middle of nature. A nice play structure for kids was also on the property. Lots of options for cooking, bbq, fire place, a little wood fire pit and the wood was provided by the host for free. Then least but not last, Victor and his family were super friendly and generous. They cooked an amazing chicken dinner and a great breakfast for a very decent price. The honey that Victor makes right there on the property, well, him and his bees, tastes amazing; we got some for home; we also found fresh eggs in our cabin when we arrived. I wished we would stayed longer. We will definitely go back in the winter too.

We absolutely loved staying at Anastasia's domain cabin 1 ! Victor the host was very welcoming and helpful. Cabin was super clean and has everything you need to cook. We will book again for sure ! Beds are a bit stiff though.

My son and I had an amazing time! The host family was so kind and helpful, they made it very easy to enjoy our time disconnected. The beautifully maintained park is less than a 5 minute drive away and we got a chance to have brunch at La belle sorelle, which was super yummy.

It’s fun to come with your friends& family. The owner was very friendly & the dog. There is small pond which you can have all by yourself. Everything was very nice. The only problem was bugs but obviously it’s forest so don’t forgot to take bugs spray even if you forgot you can guys in Canadian tire. There is so many stores near by

Hi , we loved our time at Anastasia’s domain!
Cute cabin , comfortable bed and all the amenities needed in terms of kitchen supplies and some entertainment items such as playing cards and board games . We liked the campfire and the cookhouse and we were only a short drive in to Center of town . Would recommend .

We loved staying in Victor’s cabin. It was very clean, cute, and had everything we needed. We also enjoyed exploring the trails nearby. Victor left us some of his honey and farm fresh eggs to try which was very nice. We will definitely be coming back soon!

We really enjoyed the night we spent in Victor's cabin. There was a lot of attention to detail and Victor made special efforts to take care of us. My young son loved the ride in the sidewinder, seeing the chickens and playing with the puppies. Would stay here again. It was quiet, restful and easy.

We had a great time at Anastasia’s domain. It is a magical place where you can connect with nature easily and enjoy a relaxing and peaceful time. Victor and his family are wonderful hosts and they were kind and very friendly, with a lot to share. I would really recommend this place to anyone who needs a break from the speed of the city or just wants to have a beautiful time without pressure.

The property is beautiful and the early autumn leaves were the perfect ambiance. The cabin is cute and cozy, stocked with fresh treats from their farm. We really liked the honey and took home a big jar. There are many ways to cook at the cabin: you have an indoor coleman stove, a bbq and a fire pit, there is also a communal cooking hut which we had a great time using. There are trails right nearby, but I will say the maps are confusing. During our stay twice in one day 2 families became lost and wondered onto the domain haha. However, they each commented on how cool the cabin was. Victor and his family are excellent hosts that make you feel so welcomed and taken care of. Overall we would definitely recommend Anastasia's Domain.

Victor’s property was beautiful and well maintained. The cabins were all very clean and had a wonderful energy. We had a an unforgettable experience and we were never looking for things to do. Victor has fun activities and adventures to accommodate any kind of guest. We enjoyed the electric bikes for the day and had a fabulous tour through Alexandria.

Me and my two kids had a great time. The cottage was so thoughtfully put together and the goodies of wine, eggs and fresh grown tomatoes that were provided were so appreciated.
We enjoyed the sunflowers, the swimming paradise, the ebikes, big bonfire, the cookhouse for dinner and our serene little tiny cabin and own firepit. We are glad we stumbled upon this gem of a property and were even lucky enough to meet little Miss Anastasia. Victor and his wife were welcoming and always available to answer questions about the property. Thanks for the fun time.

Anastasia’s Domain!
I just stayed at one of Victor's cabins on one of my first solo cabin trips with two very young children. He and his family were very kind and took good care of us. The cabin was immaculate and very well kept and I really appreciated the cookhouse so I was able to have a fire to cook over and do fun things like smores and campfire pizza without the safety issues of trying cook while trying to keep two little boys safe around an open fire by myself.
The little guys also really enjoyed the beach and seeing all of the animals on the property. We would definitely stay again and I feel grateful that my lite guys had such a postive first cabin experience like this!

Wow! What a romantic experience! The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful and everything is so well maintained. Victor was so accommodating to our schedule and he was very helpful with getting things set up. We throughouly enjoyed the delicious farm fresh eggs and beautiful biking trails. I was so impressed with how many tools and supplied were provided to us. The atmosphere was amazing and we will definitely be coming back!

Victor's tiny cabin in the woods was the perfect escape for a few days. Everything was well organized and comfortable. We went during a cold period in February but with the wood stove combined with a space heater were quite cozy. The surrounding woods were lovely and there was a trail head only minutes away which we took advantage of. Victor was welcoming and very available during our stay. Would definitely stay again some time. Thank you!

Anastasia’s Domain!
Absolutely loved this beautiful experience that we had in the cabin. The place is so magical and romantic that my fiancé proposed to me there and we spent the night with our friends in the cozy cookhouse drinking wine and grilling steaks.
We also got to see the animals and get educated about keeping rabbits and chickens.
We will be coming back here for every season!!

Came for a quaint New Year's celebration after restrictions were imposed, and it was better than what I expected! On arrival my friends and I were guided through the vicinity and brought directly to our cabin, with ample space for our things. Inside, there was a complementary bottle of wine, farm fresh eggs and honey! Everything was absolutely delicious, the fireplace inside was tiny but kept us cozy through the night, and to top it all off Aspen the friendly guard dog provided some much appreciated companionship. Would definitely recommend for future occasions.

This place has all the comforts of home, solar power to the cabin, cozy blankets and towels, a mini fridge, hot and cold water, a very nice outhouse, and enough sleeping room for comfort on the bed in the loft or downstairs on the futon. The sprawling property is perfect for exploring trails both on-site or ones that connect to the town, and also for cooking in the beautiful cooking huts. Victor generously allows guests to wander the whole property from the bunnies, chickens and pond over to the sunflower field!

Our stay at Anastasia’s Domain was an amazing, and educational few days! Truly one of Hipcamp’s best stays with an amazing host to boot! Victor has dreamt up and created this beautiful farm over the past few years and has thought of pretty well everything for his off-the-grid farm. We honestly couldn’t recommend this stay enough!
With his worldly-inspired wood cabins, and Finnish cookhouses all handmade by Victor himself- it felt like we were travelling abroad. Each loft-style cabin has all of the cooking utensils, dishes, water dispensers, linens, etc. you’d essentially only need to bring your clothing and food. Each cabin also has a private composting outhouse on the back. Our favourite part of the cabin was the tiny cube woodstove which deceivingly heats the space quickly! I could only imagine how cozy this place would be in the winter! Sadly we missed the peak of his sunflowers, but we were lucky enough to see the beginning of the leaves changing colours.
We did our dinners in the cookhouse, which is fitted with a grill and cast iron flat top - which we took advantage of for a wood-fired pizza. Victor was gracious enough to provide us with some fresh farm eggs, and a taster of his honey that we included in our breakfasts.
During the day we rented the E-Bikes and biked along the many trails Alexandria has to offer along the boardwalks, lakes, and tree-lined trails - a perfect full-day activity. If you haven’t E-biked or aren’t a long-distance biker, the E-bikes are a great way to go far, QUICK!
Victor is a very passionate and eager teacher and we loved hearing about his bee colonies. If you have time to chat bees with him - Do it! Victor and his family's way of life is so inspiring, it truly is a blessing he shares this experience with others. We hope to be back to see what projects he’s completed and to soak in more of his knowledge.
Thank you for your hospitality Victor, it doesn’t know unnoticed!
