The Heart of the Woods Treehouse
Overall, it was a good experience and everything was well organized. Communication was easy and all the plans were clearly laid out. The place was clean. Two friendly cats🙂.
However, in my opinion this location is better suited for adults who are looking for silence and a calm retreat. For my 4-year-old, it didn’t offer very much. The biggest issue was the treehouse – it was full of large spiders, so we weren’t able to sleep inside and ended up spending the night in our car.
In summary: enjoyable overall, very clean and well managed, but more appropriate for adults and nature seekers rather than young children.

We had a great experience!! Hosts were super nice and helpful. Unfortunately we couldn’t spend much time in the treehouse, but will definitely stay again if we come to area in the future

What a beautiful spot! It was rustic and cozy, with everything you need to make lifelong memories of a fun experience. I brought along my two young sons and we all had the best time. Of course, we brought extra warm sleeping bags to keep warm, with extra socks and hoodie sweaters, but we knew to be prepared at this time of year. The other thing we expected at this time of year was the swarm of mosquitos. We brought along two Thermacells that worked great, had lots of bug spray with us, brought a battery operated electric bug zapper to get rid of any mosquitos that joined us in the treehouse and brought a hanging bug screen to cover all of our chairs so we could enjoy sitting outdoors without any bugs getting us. I would recommend the same to anyone visiting in May. The joys of being outdoors! Haha.
Our experience here was great. From all of the added amenities, to the beauty of the structure, along with the luxury porta-potty, you can’t go wrong!
Side note: for an added fun experience, check out Rockin Rhonda’s Diner only 10 minutes away in Avonmore, for ice cream or a bite to eat. The locals are so friendly!

It was a great experience. Everything shown in the pictures was same and had all the things needed to stay there . Due to heavy snow and winter its not good idea to go there in winters as the place do not have internal heating everything else was amazing . The owner chat support was also great .

The Heart of the Woods Treehouse
The Treehouse at Cedar Fox Farm is a charming and unique getaway, perfect for a couple or a family of four. While the accommodations are simple, the treehouse offers everything you need for a cozy and rustic stay. The hosts were incredibly sweet and welcoming, even gifting us a jar of their delicious homemade honey. We loved feeding the catfish at the beautiful pond and exploring the property’s beehives and playing with the friendly kittens. With plenty of walking trails through the expansive cedar forest, there’s no shortage of nature to enjoy. The treehouse feels wonderfully private, making it an ideal spot to unplug and relax.

I enjoyed staying at Valerie's and Stephen's land. The camping site was very clean. They came in person and welcomed me and we talked for a bit, lovely people. There is a fishing pond you can feed the catfish and a forest trail you can take around the farmlands. The cabin is nicely built but there are ways for mosquitoes to come in so I would recommend having a sleeping bag. They brought me mosquito-repellent devices also. Would highly recommend it!
