This is a unique environment, on a point between two rivers, heavily treed, mostly on bedrock. There's even a picnic table on a rock in the middle of the river. The host is onsite, personable and helpful. I'm definitely returning.

This was my third time staying a Gerry's and I still love it! The site is amazing. Just the right mix of sun and shade to stay comfortable. And the view is amazing. I always wander through the creek and take a nice long paddle up the river. There are so many birds, and such a dynamic landscape it's really a great spot. And it'salways great to catch Gerry. I would definitely recommend it.

Gerry is just incredible and helpful. Do not be afraid to reach out to him, as he can ensure you have a fantastic time! I brought 4 friends there and we all had a blast. We even managed to bath in the river, it was great.

Gerry’s land is great— multiple private spots to camp at the junction of 2 rivers. The area is rural with farms and a forest preserve. GREAT mountain biking and gravel riding nearby. Don’t forget your mosquito repellent. Gerry is an excellent, helpful, enthusiastic and generous host!

Great view at the Eagles nest #4. Everyone should try rocket fire log made by the owner it’s great to cook and last long to burn. The property owner made sure I’m safe and well, also he asked me if I needed anything, just call him. I would definitely come back to this camp site!

The host is helpful friendly, he helped me get a fire started when it was raining. The camp sites are nice and secluded. The stream is really clean and shallow, the river is full of all sorts of fish, a couple muskrats/otters, and a few frogs, there are always giant blue herons, bald eagles and vultures in the sky. I’ve caught a 3ft pike, and a few walleye.

I had a fantastic time on Gerry’s land. The resident beaver made a few appearances, lots of birds, the view of the river is fantastic. Beautiful property, and Gerry is a fantastic host. I will absolutely be booking again !!

5/5 stars! We had a fantastic camping experience here! Gerry, the owner, was very friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. The campsite had a beautiful view overlooking the river, and we enjoyed spending time by the water's edge. Gerry also provided us with plenty of firewood, which was a nice touch. We were a group of three friends, and we had a great time sitting around the campfire and enjoying each other's company. We would definitely recommend this campsite to others. Thanks Gerry, for a great stay!

We were looking for a place to camp in Quebec, early November, but all provincial parks were closed. The few that offered winter camping are closed until snow falls… We came across HipCamp by word of mouth and it was great. Gerry’s a very friendly host and lots of fire wood is available, fair price and quick delivery.

I really enjoyed this location, as I camped right by the water. Although it was a bit muddy, I still found it easy to kayak along the river. I saw a lot of beavers playing and noticed plenty of otter tracks. The sunset was beautiful, and there were two picnic tables along with plenty of space. I couldn't back my car all the way in, and there was some noise pollution from passing cars. However, other than that, it was a really nice trip, and Gerry was very friendly.

One nighter enjoyable experience!

We enjoyed ourselves. This was a last minute booking and we had never been there. When we showed up, Gerry was quick to find a solution for us as the campsite we had booked was not accessible for our minivan in which we sleep: he offered a spot for our minivan. He then proceeded to make two fires for us and provided wood. We did not see other people and apparently, 12 other people were at the campground. So, we felt like we were all alone.

We had a great time on Gerry’s land. Nice private campsite by the water with plenty of room. Gerry has the whole grounds decorated nicely with ambient lighting. He was an outstanding host, very friendly and even threw in some freebies for us. Thanks Gerry!

We had an absolute blast camping at this location 🤍 The site was neat, beautiful overlooking two rivers. It was big enough for our 8 person tent as well as two picnic tables and we still had so much free space. You could walk down to the river straight from your campsite to your own little private dock or to the rocks where you will see a bunch of wildlife (we saw 3 otters there!). Talking about wildlife! Make sure to bring binoculars! We saw beavers, otters, eagles, frogs, herons hunting and so much more! We literally sat in our chairs and observed the animals all day! There is also a little path down the road that leads to a rock that’s situated right on the water! We had two dogs with us which were off leash the whole time (another plus) and they were able to go in the water there to cool off and just play. There’s also a picnic table and another fire pit there! Highly highly recommend for you guys to purchase tiki lamps from Gerry! They saved us from mosquitos and for once in my life I came back with not one bite! Speaking about Gerry, wow what an incredible and generous human being. He made us laugh SOOO much and he was so helpful, laid back, super chill and enthusiastic. You could tell how passionate he is about his business. He greats you in the beginning and right a way offers to help you with whatever you need. He gave us so much wood (we got all you can burn wood extra) and we had fire going all day! I promise you won’t be disappointed. We loved it so much ❤️❤️❤️❤️

great place to relax by the fire with some beautiful views! 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a few peaceful nights, under the stars. Gerry sets you up with a ton of burning wood (for a very reasonable price) & comes with the best attitude you can come with. i will 100% be back soon

Great place to camp, surrounded by nature. Gerry helped us a lot to get our things down/up to/from our site to the parking area. Read the instructions before coming, it is a real camping experience. Recommended!

Nice campsites. Fair warning, because of the rain, some areas are a bit waterlogged, and mosquitoes are abundant, at the end of August. Gerry (the host) was great, took good care of us and checked up regularly on us to make sure everything was good. He also made sure we settled in well on the first day, and guided us to various paths and nice spots on his property. It's "rustic", no drinking water on site, no power, and an outhouse, but that's good for camping! Also, pretty easy to reach, about 1h20 min from Montreal, about 40-50 min from Ottawa. Very dog friendly, and you can go offleash. Finally, definitely buy the wood from Gerry, you get more than enough for a day (about 20-25 logs) with the basic day option, it's all hardwood, and very dry, so less smoke and a lot of heat output. I will definitely be returning to the property and might try a site on a different part of the property next time.

Awesome plot and amazing host! Gerry was super friendly and welcoming and took the time to make sure we were ok and showed us around. We asked if there were walking trails and he personally escorted us and showed us around. He’s very energetic and talkative too. As avid campers we were worried that the plot would lack privacy but this was not the case. Each plot is totally separate and covered in beautiful trees and vegetation. Would definitely come back, 10/10 experience.

Beware of blatant inaccuracy

Extremely disappointing and misleading. We're very unsure how Gerry has been getting away with these incredibly misleading photos and descriptions. It's concerning how Hicamps has awarded him with multiple host awards This property is under a very busy loud underpass and between 2 unswimmable brown rivers. You're lucky if you're on the side with the louder river that will drain out the sounds of cars speeding by above. He's clearly quite tactful in his curation of his ads. He said verbatim "I'm not sure why anyone would want to camp here". We witnessed someone leaving angry shortly after arrival. He inappropriately complained about guests being disappointed and requesting refunds. There was a giant pile of trash on our site, unfinished long abandoned projects, the 1 and only shared toilet is open-air and plainly visible from the only pedestrian+ car path, towels hanging off of trees from previous guests. The place is in total disarray and he will blame it all on weather. I'm wondering if most of the people camping here are from the city and are very unexperienced with being outside. We weren't expecting much from the price but to be totally manipulated and deceived and it to blatantly be confirmed by Gerry, that is unacceptable. This guy knows what he is doing and you wont be refunded.

The space we booked was covered in mud. Not just a a little spot but the whole space. We couldn’t put our tent there. This should have been communicated upon us booking as we did it just a few days before. We feel it was dishonest.

This camp site was phenomenal - very private and right on the water. Gerry supplied everything that we needed and more and was helpful and available if we needed. The property was fun to explore and the fishing was fantastic! We had a bite practically every cast. We will definitely be visiting again in the future.
