The fall, cool crisp days and changing leaves are just a few short weeks away. NOW is the time to book your experience with us. Enjoy rustic camping on our 115 acres of upstate NY forest. We are just a short drive to Cooperstown, the Baseball Hall of Fame and the summer baseball camps as well as the other museums that it has to offer. Howe Caverns in Cobleskill is also about 30 minutes away as well.
The property consists of a mixture of upland hardwoods (mainly Oak, Maple and Cherry) with scattered stands of Red Pine, White Spruce, Hemlock and two open fields/pastures. There are also the occasional conifers scattered about just to keep things interesting. The majority of the property is gently sloping from the South up towards the North. The is also a nice ridge on the NE corner of the property to aid in topographic diversity. One of the fields is a seven acre hay field and the other is a five acre food plot planted in clover, chicory and other grasses. This field has also been recently planted with Apples, Pear, American Plum, Red Osier Dogwood, Persimmon, Red Mulberry, Chinese Chestnut, and Hazelnuts. These are all young at this time but will start to provide diversity and wildlife interest in the coming years.
Wildlife abounds here at the homestead. Whitetail Deer and Eastern Wild Turkey are very common to see. We also have a variety of small animals as well such as Red and Grey Squirrels, Raccoons, Porcupine, Opossum, Fisher etc. For the birders, we have Barred and Great Horned Owls and Red Tailed Hawks. It is also not uncommon to see Bald Eagles soaring over the fields looking for their next meal.
All of the property is easily accessible via our extensive trail system. There is also another 187 acres that borders our land that also has trails that would allow hiking. We have detailed maps so that getting lost would be the least of your worries.

Sisi Farm is a 22 acres beautiful family owned farm. The farm is across the street from a 70 acres width with 70 feets depth Guilford Lake New York State Park. Sisi Farm has a pond with relatively flat grass land. This farm is perfect for either short-term, medium-term and long-term camping. There are only limited numbers of campsites on the farm. Therefore, each campsite will have its own privacy area. There are various choices of the campsites between pondfront, on grass, in the forest, or top of the hill. The farm has a Farmers Market on every Saturday from Spring to Fall. People can stop by to spend a nice weekend at the farm. The land is surrounded with beautiful fruit trees. This natural environment offers beautiful natural surroundings in all seasons.
The farm is located at a very convenient location. There are only 10 minutes driving distance to get to all places to satisfy the daily essentials. There are banks, gas stations, supermarkets, fast food restaurants, bakeries, pharmacies etc around the area. In addition to the good location, there are unlimited things to do around the area everyday.

Although far and few between, New York still has some hidden gems. And with its winding roads and dense forests, Bowman Lake State Park is considered one of them. The parks namesake, Bowman Lake, is 35 acres and is the center of pretty much all activity. And that’s a lot! You’ll find beach swimming, remarkable fishing (trout are regularly stocked), and several hikes, the most popular being a loop around the ol’ lake. Campgrounds are roomy, secluded, and shady--so if you aren’t feeling up for much, hanging out in a hammock by the fire is perfectly acceptable. With more than 650 wooded and wild acres, Bowman Lake State Park is well worth a visit.

Weekend Trip to Christmas Tree Farm Hidden Delight
We had an amazing last-minute stay at Mary’s place. Our pups loved having the freedom to roam off leash, and it was so nice to relax by the tent and take in the fall scenery. The woodstove kept us cozy all night, and Mary was very kind and responsive throughout our stay. We’ll definitely be back!

Todd went above and beyond at every instance that we needed him. Lovely spot, great trails in hardwood forests for dog walks. Quiet country living, beautiful pond. Couldn't ask for a better host. He even lent us his waste tote to dump black and grey tanks and even took it away with my husband to dump.

We stayed in a 26' trailer, and the hookups were excellent. If you have dogs with good recall, this is the perfect place. Being able to let them off leash was so appreciated. The lake was beautiful and crystal clear. Our dogs loved swimming, and we enjoyed paddle boarding. Next time we’ll come earlier in the season so we have more daylight to enjoy everything. Our experience at The Christmas Tree Farm Hidden Delight was absolutely wonderful. Mary was a fantastic host. She was friendly and thorough in her communication, even recommending places to enjoy in the area. We arrived later in the day and were thrilled that she had started a fire in the woodstove inside the tent and had also started a campfire for us. So very thoughtful and a fabulous surprise. The site itself is incredibly private with amazing views. The firewood she provided was dry and plentiful, a bonus since it was a bit chilly for much of our visit. It was great to be able to have the dogs off leash too. We enjoyed our time immensely and highly recommend the site. Thank you, Mary!

This spot exactly as described. Very private but everything here and well laid out. The walk to the lake is a bit steep but 110% worth it if you like to fish or be by water. We caught at least a dozen largemouth bass, several 10-12 inches, a yellow perch and several large pumpkinseeds. RV Site is gravel and damn near perfectly level. Couldn’t ask for much better, appreciate Roberto and his family are willing to to share this very nice location, A+ Hipcamp!

Oasis among the rolling tree covered hills. Level driveway steps from a private lake w dock and diving board. 30 amp electric hookup and water conveniently located. Clean, well manicured area with community fire pit next to miles of clearly marked hiking trails. Todd provided trail maps and a list of amenities in the area like restaurants and laundromats. He and his wife were so wonderful and personable and well organized. I had some water leak issues while I was there and Todd was understanding and very helpful. The surrounding view and neighbors farms were so gorgeous on every walk. I felt so much peace the week that I stayed here. About a 20-minute drive from many stores but you could never tell that sitting and enjoying this property. Highly recommend. They even sent me home with doggie treats for my two pups.
