If you ever experienced, as a kid, going to the country to visit grandparents/aunt or uncles - this is an adventure just like that with dirt (mud puddles and all) driveway (approx. 1100 ft. long). This is a private property of 10 acres of lightly wooded, sloping areas with a pond and a private residence of 2300 sq. ft. which have guest rooms available as a BnB - Book rooms on AirBnB or Booking.com. It is NOT a manicured estate but rather land with mowed rustic trails with a old pond with water critters, bullfrogs, fishes, water spiders, tiny snails. This offers a great place for snowmobiling guests to stay overnight if you are brave enough to camp in a NY winter. If you are staying during another season you can walk the snowmobile trail. We are also in a very popular area to the Amish. They are great neighbors and we are sure you will see them pass by regularly with their horse and buggy. The property is also next to a show horse farm that has two donkeys so be prepared to hear them also . Very entertaining. We are currently a new site and are doing construction on the land. Please be patient with us. We have one other listing on the land so there may be times you do see other guests. We have a home under construction on the property so we also may be there at times. This site gives you a quiet wooded area to camp for the night or two with a porta potty for luxury camping. This site allows you to have a quiet place to camp without a lot of people and kid free. Most campgrounds have children but Stars and Sage does not allow children. Please feel free to bring your own camping needs as we only provide a fire area. The site is approximately 19 feet by 39 feet in dimension. You will be close to Mexico village and about 20 minutes from the city of Oswego. Plenty of biking areas all around . Enjoy a hike in the trail or take a short trip to Mexico point to put your Canoe or kayaks in to enjoy Lake Ontario. Lake Ontario is well known for fishing. You may see deer, Fox, muskrat, etc. you may hear coyotes in the distance. A flash light and a hatchet and bug spray are definitely recommended to have on hand.

We loved this little cabin! All I wanted for my birthday was a couple days in the woods, and this place was exactly what I needed. You can hear the water from the stream as you fall asleep at night, and the cabin was nice and cozy during a rainy afternoon. This was the perfect place to unplug, sit by the fire, and recharge. We will definitely be back!

We stayed in The Loon cabin. It was super cute and nice. Simple necessities with all bases covered. The property was so large and had shoreline and wooded and field walking so we never even needed to leave to walk the dogs. We came AFTER kids camp season and we will be back! Only a half hour drive to CMAC! Bryan was easy to reach and quick to respond.

The Heron cabin was great. Each of the 3 bedrooms had a heater and fan. The common area got chilly overnight but the bedroom stayed comfortable with the door closed. The grounds were great and our dog loved exploring. The views of the lake were spectacular and it was so peaceful sitting out on the dock. We already can’t wait to go back and take advantage of the pool, and use a kayak or canoe. One thing to note is there is no outside lock on the cabin, though we totally felt our belongings were safe when we left during the day.

Bryan was incredibly kind, accommodating, and responsive. We rented the Hawk for 2 nights and it was perfect for our family of 4. The screened in porch is great for eating meals and playing cards. We enjoyed canoeing on the lake, and fishing on the pond. They have a very nice dock with Adirondack chairs to enjoy the lake- about 5 minutes from the cabin. They do have a pool, but it was too chilly for us to use it. No need to bring a grill or camping chairs. They have benches outside around the campfire. Also included was hand soap, dish soap, tissue, paper towels, grilling tools, microwave, toaster oven, decent sized fridge with freezer, and a fan. It has a nice rustic feel with the comforts of running water/toilet/shower. We would definitely come back!

This adorable cedar cabin was absolutely perfect. The woods are beautiful and the trails go on and on. The cabin is completely secluded (no view of any people, homes, etc) and with everything you need for a comfortable stay! The host even gave us a free little jar of fresh raw honey from the farm they'd harvested that week!

we loved the cabin and the land SO much - thank you brooks! the wildlife in those woods were utterly *spectacular,* from the epic shows of fireflies at night...the red fox bounding joyfully across the ravine...too many iridescent damselflys to count...deer, frogs, salamanders, and more...and the most gorgeous wildflower meadows you're likely to see. we had a fantastic weekend and will definitely be back soon! the cabin is comfy and cozy and just what we needed to unwind/unplug for a couple of days. thanks so much for sharing your slice of heaven with us!

We had a wonderful time at this campsite! The grounds were well-maintained, peaceful, and surrounded by beautiful nature—perfect for relaxing and disconnecting. 3 nights at Camp Whitman on Seneca Lake

7 of us shared the Walnut bunkhouse, I'd highly highly reccomend! The bunkhouse: The bunkhouse was clean, well-maintained, and stayed cool in the 90+ degree heat. The beds were comfortable and it was plenty spacious for 7 people. The campground: Camp Whitman is lovely. It was very quiet and peaceful, and the stargazing at night was excellent. The camp sits right on the lake and has a gorgeous dock area, and we had a blast going out on Kayaks and SUPs. The pool was warm and clean. The lifeguard team made sure we had a safe and fun time! The location: Camp is a short drive to Watkins Glen and many wineries. It's peaceful and set back from the road. It was lovely to sit by the lake and watch the sun rise. Overall 10/10 stay!

It was a beautiful spot and we loved that it was dog friendly. The only thing I comment negatively on is that there needs to be curtains on the windows! Otherwise it's a wonderful quiet spot to enjoy!
