Great communication, friendly hosts. Perfect fire pit. Easy to get to, right off highway pretty much. We used it as an overnight stop. You can hear the h8ghwa6 sounds but it's muffled and we couldn't hear feom inside our van. Field very open, so if in high summer would be warm but perfect for a fall overnight. Would use again.

This place is pretty remarkable, because I’m sure you’ve never considered camping in New York City. The positives: easy to get to without a lot of City driving, plenty of space, electrical hook ups, safe section of town, bathrooms with toilets and showers, shockingly quiet at night. The Wi-Fi was fast and steady and it was good enough for me to have zoom meetings. The negatives: most of the sites aren’t actually numbered so you just sort of pick one but everyone who arrives looks very confused, the parking lot surroundings aren’t very beautiful and there’s a lot of weird stuff being stored in the parking lot from the gym next-door, and the bathrooms aren’t great. But, come on, it’s New York City. You’re not staying at the Ritz and this definitely is not the Ritz. This is absolutely the least expensive way to stay in New York while sleeping in your own bed. The subway is about four blocks away and it takes about 25 minutes to get to Manhattan. I absolutely loved it and will definitely be back.

We weren’t at Sundial Farm much since we were in town for an art show, but it was such a lovely place to come back to each evening. The setting is beautiful and peaceful, and it was wonderful to have a fire every night. We really appreciated the provided water and firewood, such thoughtful touches. Abraham, the host, “made” this site! He was accommodating, helpful and so pleasant! The site wasn’t what I was expecting (I thought it would be in a more rural setting because dogs can be off leash) however I stayed because Abraham was so darn nice. My dog and I had a very restful, relaxing stay.

Molly was a responsive, kind and helpful host. The property is very pretty and also very close to amenities and fun activities like tea town reserve. We loved the sunset field spot! In the fall there is an apple cider mill in the barn that sells cider and hard cider, apples, donuts and muffins and there is a great spot for kids to play. Both the field and the orchard are not a long walk from the barn to bathroom. This is a good place to do camping with a nice mix of nature and access to amenities.

I was in the non-view location. It was safe, peaceful, and friendly. I took the dog walking to the view every day, so I didn't miss being located on the river. It was an easy walk to the subway, and my dog walked right onto the train no problem. It's a super place to stay!

This is a very nice space on a private farm. Hosts are very nice people, very helpful. Access to bathroom in barn and drinking water was provided, perfect for a quick overnight or hiking/bikepacking in the area. Close enough to the highway that there is a bit of a rumble from that, if you are looking for absolute quiet. A nice rural spot, not completely rustic but private and pretty.

The lot was secure and relatively quiet. I felt comfortable in the neighborhood. "Jack" seemed nice enough, but not overly friendly. He hadn't gotten the message I sent weeks before until I was there and trying to pull into the lot, which I found to be kind of annoying. The bathrooms were on site but were not clean and did not have any soap. Overall, I would stay again due to how secure and relaxed the environment is. Brooklyn is not as convenient as I thought it would be due to having to take 3 different trains to where I needed to go in Manhattan --though the camp is just a short 5-10 minute walk to the G train .

Molly is an exceptional and thoughtful host. She was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. We had our own space far from the other campsite so you’re not on top of each other. Having a flush toilet and a sink to wash your hands within walking distance made camping very comfortable.
