The cabins are situated on three beautiful park-like acres with plenty of room for games of all kinds. The view from the grounds takes in an apple orchard, rolling vineyards and Seneca Lake - a perfect setting for a small wedding or reunion if you rent all four cabins. Built of whole pine logs all four are spacious one-room cabins with electricity, hardwood floors and stone fireplaces. The cabins are equipped with table, chairs, comfortable beds, dressers, stove and fridge. Two of the cabins will accommodate three persons and the other two will accommodate up to 6 people. A Bath House in the center of the campsite is convenient to all four cabins and contains a separate mens and women section with showers, toilets and sinks. Guests are encouraged to provide their own towels and bed linens to avoid per bed linen fee. The Rustic Log Cabins are located on the east side of Seneca Lake on Route 414 in the town of Hector. We are central to the Finger Lakes National Forest, wineries & breweries, Watkins Glen State Park and also the towns of Corning, Geneva, Ithaca, Seneca Falls and Hammondsport NY. We are open May through October.

Weekend Trip to Summer Haven

We had a wonderful stay at the Cozy Cabin! The space was spotless and very well maintained — everything felt clean, comfortable, and welcoming. It was the perfect spot to relax and visit with family, with plenty of room to gather and enjoy time together. The location was great — easy to find right off the highway, yet peaceful and quiet once we arrived. It’s also just a short drive to the Finger Lakes, making it a convenient home base for exploring the area. We truly enjoyed our stay the past three years and look forward to our next visit!

We had the best time at the cabins! Clean spacious and quaint. Jackie’s a wonderful host! We can’t wait to return. The only down side was being so close to the road. (There are cabins further back though!)

Weekend Trip to Bloom Fields Secluded Woods

We spent a couple days on Karin's property and we had a great time. The site we stayed on was the site with the camper. My daughter, her husband and their 2-year-old stayed in the camper. My wife and I setup a tent on the same site. The camper was really nice for the kids because my daughter is pregnant and they didn't have to worry about climbing in and out of a tent or sleeping on a blowup mattress. The site is nice and opens to a field with a couple horses. Karin and her husband let us bring the granddaughter into the barn area to visit with the horses, a couple goats and chickens. She also let my granddaughter play on the swing set they have at their home. The site also has a fire pit and Jim brought us some firewood. We had also stopped to get some firewood on the way there, but it was really nice they gave us some. There is plenty of kindling laying around to get the fire started. The site is nicely shaded so you don't have to bring a pop-up to block the sun. Karin also gave us a half dozen eggs, put some kid's books in the camper and gave us some stuff to make s'mores with. The camper was stocked with all the cooking and eating utensils you might need. There were towels in the bathroom and the bed was freshly made. We were able to park our vehicles at the campsite. We didn't explore the surrounding area because we were there for a short time and wanted to relax. Karin and Jim are wonderful hosts, and the place is great to get away for a while.

4 nights at Rustic Log Cabins Overlooking Senec

We had a great stay - the cabins are centrally located for most hikes, only 30 mins from Ithaca 40 mins from Corning. The cabin was spacious, had very comfortable beds, fans and other helpful amenities. The bathrooms are quite nice too. Jackie was a good host, met us at the start and even lent us a few of her own kitchen supplies so we could make eggs and breakfast. Know that you should bring your own grill and cooking supplies, and chairs for around the fire if you want. It’s right off a somewhat busy road and you can hear car’s, but we slept well. We would definitely return.
