There is also an artisan pizza spot with indoor/outdoor seating, hipster vibes and fun cocktails and live music @ thedaleNY For shopping you can also stop by @ forageandgather - they have foods, meats, gourmet deli and coffee and carry all the little things you may have forgotten to bring along in addition to a locally and craft focused wine and spirits shop. Also stop by @badgrandmashop for the most vibrant and stylish clothes for all sizes and styles. Not to be missed. There is also a lovely yoga studio and bollywood dance spot in addition to some other delightful gems in town. There is superb hiking nearby at Neversink Unique Area in Rock Hill. Your'e also about 30 minutes away from super cute fun larger towns and attractions like New Paltz, Livingston Manor, and tons of incredible Catskill hiking and nature opportunities. NOTE! There's an excellent Farmers Market on Saturday's in Rock Hill from 10-1pm from June to September also. Come find us there! It all started when grandfather Charles B Wright first establish this farm in 1904. He purchased it for its natural springs. In our barn (now home to Gardiner Brewing Company) he had gravity fed water troughs for his cattle. Since then we have slowly switched from animals to tree fruit. You will enjoy rolling hills of fruit trees and fruit gardens along with beautiful views of the Shawangunk Mountain Ridge. We have 450+ acres so it in very private. As we are a working farm, you can see us driving pass with our tractors or maintaining the orchard around your campsite on occasion. You are welcome to ride your bikes, hike or jog where you will pass ponds and a working farm landscape. Please don’t pick our fruit. If you would like to enjoy the fruits of our labor please visit our farm store open year round on the premises where we sell cheeses, our fresh picked fruit and veggies, local meats, and our famous cider donuts along with other farm products. We also have a farm brewery open 3-7 in our old dairy barn for you to enjoy. Live music Saturdays and Sundays. Minnewaska State Park and Mohonk Reserve are only 10 minutes away. The rail trail is three minutes away. This trail gives you walking and biking access into New Paltz, where there is tons of restaurants and lots of shopping. Please be aware that during the months of September and October there may be a Pick-Your-Own customer or two walking around picking apples around the campsite area between the hours of 10:00-6:00. You are also welcome to come down to the farm market and purchase bags to pick your own apples in season.

Private and off-grid tiny home near the Neversink Unique Area hiking trails. This tiny house is approximately a tenth of a mile from guest parking. A marked trail to the site with trail markers for easy direction. This tiny house has solar powered WIFI and lights. This is not an insulated structure and during the winter months there is no running water. The outhouse is located about 50 feet from the tiny house. The Tiny House is located in a very private and remote location that sits next to thousands of acres of state land with beautiful hiking trails and access to the Neversink River. Guest access Private and easy parking with short hike down hill to the site if you are unable to drive directly to the site (NOTE: During the winter months all guests must park in the designated parking spot and hike to the site. You cannot drive as a result of the unpredictable weather) While the hike is short, some parts are steep, so please walk slowly and take your time. Driving to the site can only be done during the spring and summer months and requires a high clearance Truck, Jeep or SUV with all wheel drive or 4-Wheel Drive ONLY. If you run out of water in the shower you will need to wait for the next rainfall for it to collect and build back up. During the late fall and winter months, this site will be open to winter campers who come prepared with the necessities and truly know how to winter camp. There will be no running water during this time and the solar will not work as well as it does during the summer months. We recommend not using the electric during the daytime hours, as this helps conserve power for when you will need to use it at night. Well off the beaten track, it's scenic, private and peaceful. Camping at Moon In The Pond Farm is a bit of heaven. There are separate sites to choose. Around the farm, you have your own secluded spot to enjoy. (Though you may be in a field next to our Scottish Highland cattle!) Two are tent sites: the PondSide and the FieldEdge. There's one site for small/tiny RVs or Campervan. And finally there's the HiddenCabin--a bed a roof and convenience. Each has a firepit with a small grill to cook over the fire. (all firewood provided) Our campsites are in quieter areas of the farm. One overlooks the pond, others are on the edges of different farm fields, one a cabin nearer the farmstead. All require a beautiful, bucolic trek of 150-350 yards from the roadside parking--ensuring the quiet, natural experience. During the day times, you may see or hear farm work. At night it's lusciously dark and serenely quiet. You'll hear owls hoot, frogs croak, crickets chirp, foxes yowl and coyotes howl! In June and July the fields and trees light up like Christmas with fireflies, and you'll see the stars. During the week is the absolute best time--the local hot spots (or cooling down spots!) are much quieter, and all our campsites have reduced weekday rates. If you can, take advantage by adding a Thursday or Sunday night to a weekend stay. We've got an awesome, easy hiking trail on adjacent Nature Conservancy land. It meanders through woodlands, around rock ledges, through wetlands (on a 600' of boardwalk) and ends at a beautiful stream and pond with a gigantic beaver dam. Not far from here are numerous well-marked hiking trails (including the Appalachian Trail (with famous Bash Bish Falls) and several offshoots (Sage's Ravine, Race Brook Falls), Bartholomew's Cobble, Umpacheenee Falls, and others). Also in the neighborhood are opportunities for canoeing, kayaking, swimming, rock climbing, gavel-road and country-road biking, and pretty much any outdoor activity/adventure opportunity. Or... you can just chill and relax, sleep, or read the day away! Love food? This is Farm-to-Table for real! Never so close--the table's AT the farm! Bring your cooking gear and get some of our wicked fresh organic food--veggies, chops, sausages, eggs, bacon, granola, yogurt, etc. Sear yourself up a real treat! Very nearby, as the Berkshires is a cultural mecca, there are also numerous opportunities from many great restaurants to art, dance, music, spas, galleries, antique shops, museums, cafes and much more. The property is a 5 minute drive to the hamlet of Mountaindalewhich has a lovely Rail Trail for hikes and bikes, and some excellent dining options including @ highvoltagecatskills, in addition to creek bar a magical cafe & bar with outdoor seating and fire pits that serves delicious modern Polish American comfort food, great cocktails, and has live music and events on weekends. There is also an artisan pizza spot with indoor/outdoor seating, hipster vibes and fun cocktails and live music @ thedaleNY For shopping you can also stop by @ forageandgather - they have foods, meats, gourmet deli and coffee and carry all the little things you may have forgotten to bring along in addition to a locally and craft focused wine and spirits shop. In June and July the fields and trees light up like Christmas with fireflies, and you'll see the stars. During the week is the absolute best time--the local hot spots (or cooling down spots!) are much quieter, and all our campsites have reduced weekday rates. If you can, take advantage by adding a Thursday or Sunday night to a weekend stay. We've got an awesome, easy hiking trail on adjacent Nature Conservancy land. It meanders through woodlands, around rock ledges, through wetlands (on a 600' of boardwalk) and ends at a beautiful stream and pond with a gigantic beaver dam. Not far from here are numerous well-marked hiking trails (including the Appalachian Trail (with famous Bash Bish Falls) and several offshoots (Sage's Ravine, Race Brook Falls), Bartholomew's Cobble, Umpacheenee Falls, and others). Also in the neighborhood are opportunities for canoeing, kayaking, swimming, rock climbing, gavel-road and country-road biking, and pretty much any outdoor activity/adventure opportunity. Or... you can just chill and relax, sleep, or read the day away! Love food? This is Farm-to-Table for real! Never so close--the table's AT the farm! Bring your cooking gear and get some of our wicked fresh organic food--veggies, chops, sausages, eggs, bacon, granola, yogurt, etc. Sear yourself up a real treat! Very nearby, as the Berkshires is a cultural mecca, there are also numerous opportunities from many great restaurants to art, dance, music, spas, galleries, antique shops, museums, cafes and much more. It's still amazingly quiet at the farm where the Milky Way is clearly visible.

I have to say, first initial sight, I was confused. I didn't know where I was at. Im glad raplh had us meet because I would have probably driven to the wrong portion of the land. The land is huge. I needed an electrical for my van but I didn't have the right outlet. Ralph helped me with that. He's great. We had such a lovely stay. Everyone we encountered in the town was just amazing and friendly. Ralph was very helpful with any questions we had and very patience.. Overall, we had such a great time. Ty again for everything.

This was perfect! We stayed for a night on a cool fall night. Lots of space, and included a picnic table and fire ring. The brewery was great (we were there on a Saturday) the portapotty is a bit of a walk from this particular site, but it wasn’t too bad! The farmers market was walkable, but also a short drive. Be sure to check out the farmers market while you are there! Would definitely stay again.

We love Tiny House as it’s nestled in the woods and feels very private. The hosts are kind, give clear instructions, and they’re super responsive to any questions that may come up. We love to tent camp and this tiny house is a great option for the colder months. We were not able to use the woodstove during our stay, but there is also a diesel heater which warms the place quickly, and for a quieter option, a small portable propane heater (purchase cans of propane at the conveniently located trading post which also has literally anything else you may forget at home). As others have mentioned, the path down to Tiny House is steep… like for REAL. An ACTUAL 4-wheel drive can make it, but ONLY if the ground is dry. That said, be prepared to hike in/out your gear if need be. And if that’s not your cup of tea, we did discover that the hosts have a couple reasonably priced Airbnbs in the area - check out Cabin in Rock Hill “Trails Head Cabin” (on the same street as Tiny House) or nearby Home in Rock Hill “Beaver Lake Escape”. Our reason for visiting was to tackle the challenging hikes of the Neversink waterfalls. Trails Head Tiny House provided amazing access, as well as, respite from our hectic city life. We look forward to a future visit!

Evan & Laura have an amazing set up. They had great communication during our stay and in the week leading up. They checked in to see if we needed anything prior, including the propane heater, which in 30-something degree weather was an essential and extremely helpful. The site truly had anything you could ever need. We were extremely impressed and surprised by the outhouse with toilet, shower, and usb-c chargers(!) inside. Reading reviews beforehand were helpful and led us to pack lighter, given the steep climb up. But the climb was definitely worth it. We also loved how Evan showed us how the goats and chickens were fed. My pup definitely loved running up and down the hill to the site and marveled (sometimes a little too much lol) at the goats and chickens she was seeing for the first time! Evan was both kind and accommodating. Would definitely stay again!

Named during the pandemic, "Camp COVID Site 19" was born out of our desire to camp, as we weren't able to go camping anywhere! This camp is the back half of our property, located in the village of Tannersville. Camp is divided from our personal yard by a fence. The camp is also completely fenced in once the driveway gates are closed, allowing your pets to safely be off leash if you wish! A long stone driveway leads to camp, with a flat spot to park your skoolie, motorhome, or vehicle. There is a creek running along the entire back side of our property, outside of the fenced in area, which you can access by walking a few feet though the gates under the Camp COVID sign. We have a new bon fire pit in the center of camp, and fires are allowed as long as there is no burn ban in effect. Firewood is on site, and can be added on for $10 per night. We have 2 water hook ups and one 15 amp electric hook up on site, we just ask that you do not run an A/C unit as it will trip our main breaker. There is a dump station at North South Lake State Park and Campground only minutes away in Haines Falls. Instructions and rules are posted in the bath house which has an on demand hot water shower and a composting toilet. There is a garbage can for your convienece which is located in the shed which must be kept closed to avoid black bears visiting! There is a covered dried in area to the left of the shed. We have a half barrel charcoal grill with a flat top griddle as well as several grill grates. One of the grill grates also fits over the fire pit if you prefer fire cooking! You don't know what's going to come through your camp. The actual camp site itself is the ultimate in social distancing. As close to pure wilderness as it gets. No vehicles allowed at site. From an easily accessible parking space, it's a mildly uphill ten minute hike through magical meadows deep into a hidden mountain valley in the midst of 250,000 acres. Utter privacy. The only sounds being the wind, the birds, yourself, and Herdman Brook rushing along a few yards east of your site. Once again no vehicles are allowed at the campsite itself. At one time, yes, but we needed to disallow it because the property was being torn up, and the beauty of the site is that it's so pristine. This is not glamping. No cabin. No platform. Need tent, tarp, or hammock, and you will sleep under more stars than you can possibly imagine. Fire ring, cooking grate, water bucket This is true wilderness camping. You're off the grid at site - no cell service - but wifi available if necessary on front porch of main house aka base camp. 10 a.m. check in. 3 p.m. checkout. Please send ETA when possible. Campers ought to be aware that black bears live in these mountains., although you're not likely to see one unless it's running away from you. If you're really nervous bring bear spray, but you're not likely to need it. I literally chased one off our porch not a month ago. Wonderful hikes - one to a waterfall - trail head at end of Spruceton Rd. Hunter Brook, Devil's Notch, Fire Tower atop Hunter Mountain, Ridge of West Kill Mountain West Kill Brewery and Spruceton Inn Bed and Bar each half mile up the road. Civilized respites. 4 campers preferred. 6 possible. One more thing: DOGS. We have two: a 13 year old female whatever and a shepherd-husky mix, 4 years old, also female. They are quite friendly and docile, although the shepherd looks intimidating, and both roam the property at will 2-3 times/day. We would prefer you not bring your dog, however, if you must, please be certain it is well behaved 4.5 miles up County Rte 6 to 1833 Spruceton Rd., NY 12492 Old white farmhouse. On left. Nature is calling! **History of The Awosting Club** In the mid 1950's John Atwater Bradley, then a graduate student, attended a conference in Cragsmoor, the site of a celebrated art colony not far from what is now the Awosting Reserve and The Awosting Club. The next morning at dawn, he went out for an exploratory hike and did not return until long after dark. Bradley hiked through evergreen and hardwood forests, along bubbling streams, roaring waterfalls and shimmering mountain lakes. He discovered an incredible wilderness like none he'd ever seen, populated by whitetail deer, black bear, fox, racoons, bobcat and coyote as well as a natural aviary of hawks, peregrine falcons, owls, eagles and pileated woodpeckers. That day he fell in love with the Shawangunk Ridge. The Bradley family still maintain the property, and after 50 years of sharing the property with educational organizations, schools, artists, writers, explorers, camps, family and friends, are excited to invite others to fall in love with the Shawangunk Ridge as John Bradley had over 70 years ago. Back in the day this was all farmland. I purchased this property in 2019 and have been busy developing it. I’ve build a chicken coop, installed bee hives and I have Nigerian dwarf goats. There is a farmstand that opens seasonally. The property is about 6 acres of flat land with several great spots to camp. Across the road is our private forest about 40 acres. Great for hiking and Moutainbiking Learn more about this land: We are conveniently located next to the NY Thruway exit 19 & 209 Highway yet super secluded and in nature’s paradise adjacent to the Sawkill River and across a large private Forrest. There is some road noise from Sawkill road & the Thruway dependent on the spot you choose to set up. If your’e tenting you can be in the woods way up in the forest, but most campers prefer our spot near the Sawkill River. I have fire pits, common outdoor furniture & a gasBBQ’s that can be used. There is chickens, bees & goats & 2 guardian life stocks dogs that live with the goats. I also have a small Terrier & a farm cat.  A lot of outdoor activity with bird watching, bunnies, deer & the groundhogs say good night. It’s rural yet only 10 minutes to Kingston uptown and about 20 minutes to Woodstock. About 1 hr from Hunter & Windham Mountain resorts and 45 minutes to Belleayre Ski. We also have a wood fired oven and offer pizza making classes as well as catered meals.
