We offer many different options for camping, from tent sites nestled in the woods to RV sites with electric hook-ups (electric site reservations are to be made on that specific listing and are limited).
We allow pets, all dogs must on a leash 6ft or shorter in length and held by an adult, there is a $20/stay pet fee for pets that can be paid prior to arrival.
Beach/Swimming Rules: Two adults 18 or over are required to supervise when there are children swimming. (Even if only one child is present.)
No swimming outside of the designated/roped swim area.
No watercraft allowed anywhere in the pond.
Do not use soap in the water, we have showers!
No alcohol, no glass or open containers.
On-site Phone is for Emergencies only (located in the beach hut to the left of the beach area). Creating a reservation is your agreement with this rule.

The location is a secluded, sectioned area of a field, with woods on two sides, close to the Chautauqua Rails for Trails entrance. There is fire wood for sale, a communal picnic table and fire pit on site. Located within walking, biking, or a short driving distance are the Chautauqua Rails for Trails, the Chautauqua Gorge, and the Westside Overland Trail. Additional courtesy camping items available at little cost upon request. Farm fresh eggs, seasonal vegetables, and farm raised meat available at farm stand.
The entrance to the property is on Summerdale Road. From Lyons Road, turn right on to Summerdale Road. Drive past the first house on the right hand side. Just a little further down the road you will see a Harvest Host sign and a blue double field gate. Please park in the location indicated via text messaging confirmation.
Please be aware that the farm is a working farm with very cute Dexter cows pastured on the other side of the fence. The back side of the fenced area is electrified so remember not to touch the wire.
Also please be aware that there are many black bear sightings in the area. Always place food and snacks in bear containment canisters and lock vehicle doors.
Recommended Best Practices:
-pack all food, wrappers, trash, toothpaste, lip balms, sunscreen, soaps, and scented toiletries inside the bear canisters. Non-clear canisters are recommended as bears have learned to access clear container models.
-keep bear containment canister on level ground at least 100 feet from your sleeping and cooking area.
-do not hang or attach ropes to the container- bears have learned to use the rope to take the canister with them, and do not leave scented items in tents or vehicle trunks. Remember to lock your vehicle.

The feeling of peace is about 1 mile off the road. Pulling into Apple Cove you'll see we've cleared areas for tents and small van style RVs. There is an individual fire pit for each camper, a small rock bottom creek runs through the 15 acres for a nice, relaxing view of the woods. The kids and I set up a swing set, and a spot by the creek to play and splash. Now, New York is a 420 friendly state. Enjoy yourself but please be respectful of others

Every time we come to Western NY we stay here.
Close to Buffalo and nearest town of East Aurora is only a few minutes away with a great main street with wonderful shops and places to eat. Also only 1 hour from Letchworth State Park
Only a few campsites that are very well maintained with spotless bathrooms/showers. Beautiful and quiet.
Neil is a fantastic host and even helped us with soem issues we had with our trailer.

While it is secluded at the same time it is only 15 minutes from East Aurora
which has a great main street full of shops, restaurants, bars etc.
Also only 15-20 minutes from Highmark stadium.
This was our second visit and we plan to be back.

This campground was a gem to stay at. I'll give you the good and the "bad". The hosts were quite hospitable and have done a wonderful job adding some great amenities to the campground like the communal kitchen which is well stocked, WiFi connection and bath house. It's a great place to hang out with family and friends, make delicious meals together and play games. The downside is that you can hear the trucks and cars from the highway whizzing by regardless the time of day and the barking of dogs. For someone who lives in the city I was hoping for a quiet getaway but that didn't happen. Despite this, however, I definitely would recommend this place because the hospitality from the hosts and beautiful scenery makes up for it. I'd be open to coming back (I just wouldn't tent camp like I did) next year though.

We had a great time camping on Neil’s property! We were looking for a nice place to relax after hot days at a baseball tournament and The Quarry delivered. Neil was a gracious and accommodating host the entire weekend. We brought our 24’ trailer, 2 kids, and 2 dogs and spent the evenings laughing by the fire, fishing (caught bass, bluegill and a perch) and paddle boarding. We had 30 amp hookup which worked perfect for us. The bathrooms were clean and provided hot showers each night. We loved the laid-back vibe and great water views. We hope to be back!

What a wonderful host Neil is. From his rescuing us from the main road - because there’s no sign indicating the campsite and it’s far from obvious - to the completely laid back approach to providing us one of the few electric campsites (as we had booked) without regard to the campsite number (there weren’t numbers on any site) to providing us with a brand new table and fire ring. A little upsetting was that the electric crapped out - but not until the morning of our departure so it didn’t impact us at all. The bathrooms were modern, clean and warm. They never did ask us our name or inquire whether we paid (we did). This trust is the very definition of Hip.
Opening early to accommodate us eclipse peepers was a big task - but they were up to it and had an enormous compliment of helpers who were happy to sell us firewood and ice. And deliver it to our site. The campground itself is lovely - a body of water (the flooded quarry) with geese and other birds and (we’re told) borrowable ‘catch and release) fish - and a network of trails, as well as rail trail hiking / jogging opportunities. We loved it. And will be right back when the moon eclipses the sun completely here again. Hopefully next time it won’t be cloudy.

Excellent campsite. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. My son chatted their ears off with questions and they shared all about fishing and the animals. Bathrooms were new and extremely clean. We loved this!
