Second time at Williams spot and it's awesome! Brought my fishing pole this time but heavy rains the day before made it a little murky and the water was moving very fast. We'll be back with our tear drop this summer.

It was perfect for the weekend, close to everything you might need, but far enough away too.
Has a little path to get to the creek, bring your water shoes!!

The site was easy to find, private and quiet. It was close to shopping and restaurants. It was easy to park my long truck. Yes, I recommend this site.

We had a great time tent camping at Hideaway, William was very hospitable and friendly, our dogs loved the river and had a great view of the stars, very secluded but close to town. Would definitely recommend a visit.

The camp was easy to find thanks to a well placed sign. Once we arrived we were greeted by the creek which was steps away from our site. The setting was very peaceful, the host was gracious and accommodating. He gave great directions on where to park for kayaking. Dinner was amazing at the newly reopened tavern a half mile away. We can’t wait to camp there again!

The land is super accessible and very well planned/ thought out. Matt and Sheryl are super friendly and showed me around and explained how everything from the water to the compost toilet worked which was very helpful. There was plenty of extra information available as well about local hikes and eat/drink spots. Overall it was very peaceful spot and I’d definitely come back for a longer stay.

Love the accessibility to the site. It is right on the water. A little muddy due to the amount of rain leading up to the visit. Nothing that the host could fix. The parking spot was dry.

Beautiful roadside property. Secluded and very comfortable. Very quiet, with the sound of flowing water nearby. Would definitely recommend this location.

We thoroughly enjoyed camping on William's land. Enjoyed the firepit overlooking Cattaraugus Creek, and listening to the birdsong. Would definitely go back.

Great place to get away. Easy access to the site with plenty of space to set up our small camper. Communication with Bill was excellent. Beautiful view of the water.
Be careful of poison ivy growing around most of the perimeter.

Beautiful roomy site next to the river- can accommodate a 30-foot trailer if you're experienced in parking it and backing it up amidst obstacles (trees). There is a small hill you must drive up to exit the site. Definitely need a point person to watch for vehicles , turtles, and that gal hauling her kayak down the road. Note: the twisty road in, while paved, has steep grades and frost heaves -- and is beloved by motorcycles. The Zoar Valley Tavern is at most 1/8 mile away and Taco Tuesday is be not to be missed. The shots were $5!

We could not have asked for better. As first time RV owners and campers William made us feel welcome and he is a great host. The spot was just what we needed to get away for a couple of days and get our feet wet camping without 100s of prying eyes. We can’t wait to find the time to come back

Great little tuck away spot! A good amount of space to hangout and have the dogs play around together. The fire pit is great, and the river is so relaxing and beautiful to be on. Would definitely stay again!

Great location right by the riverside and a short distance into Springville for supplies. Awesome if you like to fish as I caught a few right where this campsite is found on the Catt river. Can’t wait to make a return visit.

Nice easily accessible spot right next to the river. The site is a fairly flat piece of ground with trees all around - I pitched my tent here and had lots of good spots for it. The Zoar valley is a really scenic area with shops and a few small towns close by. Just note that the site is pretty close to a road, so if you’re around during the day there will be some traffic noise. All around, this is a great easy spot for a home base for exploring the zoar valley area.

Great little spot by the river. Fairly loud Friday night parties on several sides until 1 or so... No toilet facilities. Nice fire pit and beautiful place to wake up in the morning
