I had such a lovely stay at the RV! The space around the home is gorgeous, and the view is available the second you open the door in the morning. Hiking and trips to nearby Wallingford shops are easier managed with a car, but it is possible to do without and walk to hiking spots or take the bus into town (with proper planning). Sarah and Grey could not have been more welcoming or kind. I felt easy and at home immediately. I loved meeting their darling dogs and adorable pigs, and saying hello to the chickens as we crossed paths. The pond on their property was brisk and refreshing (I wish I had been a bit bolder and stayed in longer, but it was very brisk and the sun was fading). I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Weekend Trip to Battenkill Bliss
The trailer was old. but in good condition and super clean. Very nice little set up near the river with thoughtful details included (cozy bed linens, cushions on the fireside chairs, music playing when we arrived, etc.) Thank you for a nice stay!

Just minutes from I-87 and the Lake George Region, our A Frame site offers a 120 square foot authentic A-Frame cabin with an open Adirondack Lean-to approach. This 1-4 person A frame comes with 2 to 4 sleeping cots, 2 hammocks (available) with hanging space inside or out and plenty of space to pitch a tent all around, tent included. Down by the runoff stream (sometimes there is no runoff!) you'll find a fire ring with a cooking grill and outdoor seating. Inside the A frame you're provided a lantern, gas cook stove, kitchen ware, food storage cooler and small table and chairs. 14 gallons of potable water is provided. There is a small corner loo inside the A frame with a flushing RV type toilet for the ladies and also a comfortable Adirondack outhouse with an ecological waste removing system. The Mill Creek runs along with this property, which features access to the scenic Dunkley Falls & The Black Hole — a cavernous geological anomaly. This famous swimming spot is a perfect place to test your nerve with a backflip off its 20 ft cliffs or just take a leisurely swim in the naturally formed glacier pool. Like to fish? The Mill Creek is also stocked annually with over 3000 brown & rainbow trout. All of this is just a short walk from our property. Onsite: Two Canvas Wall Tents (16ft X 14ft ) and Outhouse.
