The bathroom functions with a composting toilet. The property is situated beside a creek and 90 acres of hardwood forest which campers are welcome to explore. the cabin is hidden about 3/4 of a mile off the road behind a small mobile home park and is completely secluded and campers will have total privacy.

The biodiversity is vibrant, and the birding is very good. 12 minute drive from Ithaca, 8 minutes to the center of Trumansburg, 7 minute drive from Grassroots, + supermarket, pharmacy etc, 6 minutes to the lower entrance of Taughannock Falls State Park Fire pit, grate, and firewood provided. No shower available, but the creek is deep enough to dunk in. No RV hookup available. Composting toilet nearby. No buckets needed. Campsite is about 400 yards from the road; car access to within 150 feet. The bugs aren't bad at all, because there's no standing water around, but bring bug spray if they like you. If you're looking for a place for excessive or underage drug/alcohol consumption, we're not here to narc you, but please find a different campsite. Beautiful site and host very communicative. The only “set back” is that once you’re on the property, the grass road to get to the site is a bit narrow so some of the branches from the growth to the sides of us scratched our cars a bit. Outside of that, it was just what we needed to get a way for a little bit. Great view of the stars on a clear night if you walk a little up from the site to the small open area.

We really liked having the sturdy camp furniture to use and it was really nice to have the wood provided for us! When I did have a question the host was very responsive. My boyfriend and I recently converted a shuttle bus into our home on wheels. This was our maiden voyage and it could not have gone any better. Z’s land was the perfect first step for our trip. Easy to find, peaceful, and close by the state parks which was a plus. We stayed here for 2 nights as we explored the area. Wifi was great. Very convenient to have electrical and water hook up. Level spot too. Z was super responsive and an excellent host. We greatly enjoyed our stay. Thank you Z!

The campsite was very nice. If you are adept at camping without electricity and water- this is the place for you. Thank you again, Harrison, for an amazing Hip Camp experience. What a great cabin! The inside had a wonderful hygge feel, and the wood stove is legit. Loved that the kitchen was outdoors, too. The best aspects were being able to let our dogs roam and explore as it was so peaceful and remote, yet a quick drive to our favorite FLX spots. Couldn't recommend Minglewood more highly!

The site is very nice, with Adirondack chair setup (two singles chairs, a table, a double with a table, a 2-3 seater swing, and a picnic table that could probably fit 8 people). There is a fire pit with grill, a pit toilet (that was very clean), and the owner left us some firewood. The site is pretty, and overlooks a steep drop off. Its not too close, but I have a young daughter, and had to stress to her the severity of the situation, and then roped off a boundary. We hiked walnut trail, and walked back along hemlock lake. I was told there are better trails, but this one was super close. This is close to OSB Cidery (which I recommend) and there’s a winery nearby, which we didn’t make it to. The campsite is ver scenic, and if I hadn’t brought my 4 year old, I could have stayed onsite and read a book by the fire the whole day.

My friends and I had a really nice time staying at this site. It was perfectly spacious. Flat grounds for our tents. I brought my pups and they had a perfect amount of space to roam around. And good trees to put a line up to attach them to. The wooded chairs and swings were soo cute and comfy to relax in. Justin met us to bring some firewood down. And greeted my dogs too which meant a lot!

Our 'Welcome Shed' is equipped with a compost toilet, local information, (newly added) Hot Water Station, first-aid kit, charging station, bug spray etc. and is located in a safe, well lit, open area on the property. Each site is equipped with a fire pit and comfortable seating with tables, chairs, and/or picnic tables and tripod grills. Firewood is available on a donation basis. There are State Parks and places to hike one of the many gorges around beautiful Seneca Lake and surrounding area. Take a tour of the many wineries and breweries which our region is famous for. These are beautiful wooded camping country sites with plant and wild life located just 10 miles from downtown Corning, New York. There is one rustic cabin available for rent, along with a teepee site, and 2 tent sites. We are between the Finger Lakes and the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon, just 1 mile off highway 99/15. Sites are located less than a 400 yard hike from the parking area, each site having both a picnic table and fire ring. There is an outhouse located within 250 yards from all sites. There is river access one mile from camp. Campers that require help getting to a site, can be driven up the hill via side by side. Every site is connected to state land with over 2,700 acres worth of hiking trails. We have a number of mountain bikes, kayaks, canoes, snow shoes, tents, sleeping bags/mats, etc. available for rent on site. In addition, if guests are interested in classes on site, I am a wilderness and survival expert willing to offer assistance as a guide through the trails, on the river, with setting up camp, etc. Some of my survival classes include fire making, shelter building, edible food foraging, self defense training, and fishing and hunting.

Underhill Inn is a small homestead located in the Finger Lakes region tucked in the rolling hills near Dryden Lake. We have a small garden, a flock of sheep and chickens, hives of honeybees and countless wild foraging on our 36 acres of pasture and hiking trails.   Take a walk down to Brockendock pond and cruise across the water in a canoe or paddleboat to find peepers, heron, toads and turtles. Drop a line in the water to catch trout, bass and sunnies. The chicken coop is always bustling and there are plenty of eggs to harvest each day. A morning hike on the trails usually kicks up the deer and wild turkeys and at night the barn owl will sing for you if you listen close. Adults and children are welcome to pet and feed the animals on the farm. There are farm tours available where you can learn more about our mushroom garden, composting techniques, blueberries, felting, and more.

And if you like fossils, there are plenty in the stream. Miles of trails for hiking, horseback riding and some Mountain biking. Camp is just a 1.5 mile hike to the famous Myers’ Gardens (check out the last 13 photos above of this little paradise or see Myers’ Gardens on Facebook. Pump action shower, outhouse, picnic table and fire pit. Bring your own cooler and ice. Though there's a small pool of water behind the cabin that cold that items can be placed in.

This is a beautiful piece of property located in the heart of the Finger Lakes and Wine Country of NY. It features a stunning spring fed waterfall and nice forest land. Very close to town but also very secluded and private. Great place to unwind and relax from our everyday lives. It is situated however in a gully next to a creek and waterfall so it is susceptible to heavy rains. It is recommended to at least have an AWD vehicle if rainy. I can usually help campers with getting to the site in my side X side if you need to park up at the pasture. Please order enough wood initially as I have found I spend a lot of time delivering extra wood to campers. It seems as if you will typically go through 2 bundles per night on average. Also I supply a contractor size garbage bag to you if you choose garbage removal. It is also a good idea to text me when you have a solid ETA so I can be here to take you to the site. I want to mention that the two sites closest to the waterfall are a slight hike in and can only accommodate up to 4 person tents so if a bigger group or vehicle camping you will be placed at another site. The cabin is located in a remote area of Bear Swamp State Forest. It is about 5 miles from the nearest paved road but has seasonal roads that take you to the cabin. There are many close attractions like Skaneateles Lake and Carpenters Falls. The Cabin doesn’t have electricity or water but we do have a generator available. We do not have a shower or bathroom but we have an outhouse. We do ask people to bring their own gas if you want to run the generator and woods to make a fire. I highly recommend 4x4 vehicles but I been there in a civic and a mini van.

Towner's Country Paradise started out as a wild forest and pasture for cows in the 1940's, owned by Llewellyn Towner. In the 1960s, Llewellyn's love for aviation led him to construct a small airstrip and hangar, and then his son Terry began to plant Christmas Trees (no more cows) and clear much of the land. By the early 1970's our main and largest pond was built and since that time our fully functional cabin, several more fish ponds, roads, trails, running water and generated electricity have been added. Christmas Trees are still grown and harvested by Terry's son Scott Towner. Green rolling hills, deep valleys, a waterfall, ponds stocked with fish, a fully functional cabin, herds of deer, flocks of turkey and Canada Geese, & well-maintained roads and trails here in Addison NY.
