Little River Mountain Camp was exactly what we were looking for: quiet, peaceful, and easy to get to. The campsites are great, and the creek (that runs is just a few steps away) is a real highlight - cold, refreshing, and there's even a swimming hole. Looked like trout family also love it, too! There's an outhouse and a shower bag setup on site (you'll set it up yourself), and the hosts were friendly and welcoming. We had our two dogs and a foster and they loved it! Oh when we were there, potable water was not available so you may need to bring your own drinking water. We'd love to come back!

We loved our time at the ranch. The hosts were super friendly and quick to respond to any queries. Everything was exactly as described. Deb was super gracious and invited our teenage daughter to go wrangle some cows with them which she was super happy to participate in. The dog and cats were friendly and came to visit us. The tipi experience was great. We had a good view of the night sky and the Milky Way. The hosts even had a telescope for us to use. We also ate at the restaurant in town that Deb and Gil own and the food was really good. We would definitely stay there again.

Very serene & peaceful place at the end of a road in the middle of Taos valley (the triangle). Dos site was spacious for our large tent and a nice area with some shade. Anastasia was warm and welcoming and invited us to explore her yard, yurt, yoga studio etc (but we stuck to ourselves...). She too was helpful with local hints! Very cool & chill place. Almost brand new bathrooms are superb with lots of privacy, space and hot water. Highly recommend‼️

Nice and quiet place. There was some road noise, but it wasn’t bad. We were van camping and used the tent spot for an overnight stay. The tent spot is right next to a road that gets very little traffic. We weren’t at all bothered by it. The scenery is amazing and we had a nice little hike up the hill with our dogs.

What a fantastic place to camp with my Westy! The property is incredibly clean and thoughtfully set up. The solar lights along the paths create a beautiful atmosphere at night, and the water tank and barbecue tools make everything convenient and comfortable, it truly feels like glamping in nature.
One of the highlights is the amazing pond, which adds so much charm to the property. We loved seeing the horses and other animals around. There’s also plenty to do, including a volleyball court, outdoor games, and lots of great hiking opportunities.
If you're looking for a peaceful place with excellent amenities and plenty of outdoor activities, this is it. We would absolutely stay here again!

This place was fantastic! Some of the best hosts we’ve had. The place was beautiful and fun! The hosts were fantastic with communication and help when we needed it. They were giving and kind. They had firewood for us and drinking water. Offered ice for the cooler and chatted with us a bit. We brought our kids and the hosts were understanding that kids are loud! The place itself was a little life of heaven and a perfect getaway. Plenty of blankets and the pellet stove was so helpful for night. They even came to work on it to make sure we were warm one of the nights it wasn’t working or we couldn’t figure it out quite right. So grateful. Fantastic experience and we can’t wait to plan our next trip up.

We loved the camp site on this property. We felt safe and had everything we needed. Huge area for camp fire, grill available, and hand washing station. Beautiful views. Enjoyed the bird feeder and hammocks. Lots to explore including horses greeting us one morning and pigs greeting us at the water station. Lots of memories made with my kiddos.

Great spot with grass, fire pit, privacy and views. A little close to the road (minor road noise) but it’s much better than the campsites up the canyon. Quick and easy access to town. If you want a very private, quiet and remote site, try out the Tio Willy’s rest stop site under the same ownership. Thanks Don!

Convenient to town, but quiet and peaceful spot along a country road. For campers, the bath house is definitely a plus! Anastasia is a welcoming hostess who respects the land and visitors' privacy. The property exudes a calming, relaxing air. We won't stay anywhere else when visiting Taos!

Easy access and great location to enjoy Taos and the surrounding area, including the Enchanted Circle. The site (#2) is level with easy hookup to electric and water. A little road noise, but quiets down over night. Well worth the stay for the price. Would stay again.

Great experience and very kind hosts. Debbie and Gil greeted us with a camp fire going and the pellet stove in the tipi warm. The grounds are lovely: horses, green grass, a stream and an open landscape within the Carson National Forest. Beds and blankets were comfortable and the tipi had all of the basic amenities for cooking. A bag of ice and drinkable water were provided. Great stay!
