Only stayed one night. Very accommodating and understanding land owner. Planned to have a late check in time, so owner had left a light out to guide us. Instructions very clear on how to get there. The land is right next to her house however it doesn’t feel intrusive. Greeted us in the morning and showed some trails we could go explore nearby. Weather was a little windy in the morning which she said was unusual but made packing up a little difficult. However the land was leveled and a perfect fit for my truck and rooftop tent. Would recommend this area to other campers.

This was such a fun place to stay! The road in can get muddy but our big cars managed it fine. I loved how large the sites were and how family friendly it was. We brought several toddlers but never felt worried about their safety because we could always see them, the stream is fenced off in most places and it’s all flat. Host was wonderful and we can’t wait to come back.

Cassandra was very accommodating for our large group. Beautiful property! We all came for the balloon fiesta- biking distance and great location. We could see the balloons from the campsite on our last day. Would definitely stay again.

We actually ended up staying at another one of the owner's locations that was beautiful. We had a big group and there was plenty of room for all of us. It was surrounded by big shade trees and next to a large field of LLamas. It was only about a 15-minute bike ride to the Balloon Fiesta. I would highly recommend this site!

Our experience was awful. We tried to stay for Balloon Fiesta. We arrived at 9pm at night to an overrun grassy field- the field was wet and had been watered that day?! The grass in the field was up to our hips at some points. There was no bathroom on property as listed. And worse of all our 31 foot RV got stuck in the mud! It was completely awful and not as described. No one was around- and the host was unresponsive for 12 hours! Thankfully we were able to pull out at 4am when the ground was hardened from the cool night temps. We then asked for a refund due to the poor conditions and false advertisement and we only received a refund for 1 night. I absolutely do not recommend.

It was a very safe spot for solo female to stay. Nemma is very sweet and recommend places to eat. They have cute little goats that i had dinner with. Adorable.

One thing Jimmy does is provide some firewood. We set up our tent and then enjoyed an evening around a campfire as the sunset. I was a memorable and beautiful evening.
I got a few good looks at the clear night sky and there were many stars! Much more than in the "city" where I live. I only wish I had more time to stay at Camp Chama.

Neema provided us with a safe space to park for the night that had the amenities we needed. The bathroom was clean and easy to access. We saw hot air balloons in the sky as we were leaving, which was an awesome way to wrap up our stay!

Susan’s property and campsite are beautiful and very clean. I felt safe and well-informed during my entire stay. The location is a perfect distance for feeling “out of the city” but still able to visit ABQ easily. If you are camping in a tent, be prepared for heavy winds, especially during the evening. This location is an awesome way to experience the desert.

Everything was wonderful at Neema's. I really appreciated the access to a restroom and shower. The property is well curated and very peaceful. The goats were an added bonus as well. I will definitely stay again.

I really liked this site. It is close to the house but still private on 3 sides facing beautiful scenery. It was quiet and peaceful. You can hike around quite a bit. The last part of the paved then dirt roads are slightly rough, steep, and narrow, but I’ve gotten used to that in NM.
