Why Not is a wonderful RV and tent camp out in the country but also a short drive to the beaches. Firewood, grill and charcoal were all provided by the hosts. Camp sites are pristine. Will be back.

Weekend Trip to Spacious Skies Country Oaks Campground

The campground was nice. The showers were decent. The people were amazing! We got a flat tire on the way out and were helped by a number of people so that we could change it. We will definitely be back again!

1 night at Huck and Buck Farm Sanctuary

Andrea and Michael have created a sweet little spot complete with many well-cared for animals! I got in late so decided to purchase some wood for ease of starting a fire and it was well-seasoned and easy to start. The bathroom was great to grab a hot shower before continuing on with travels. The only lowlight was the nearby road sound. I imagine in an RV or lodging it is probably not really heard but in a tent, I had a tough time blocking it out. All in, it provided a great place for me to stop along my travels up the coast.

Our stay was awesome. We needed an extra day and they had no problem extending our stay. Loved walking along the lake. There’s also a nice pond, indoor pool and mini golf. We will be back!!!

Weekend Trip to Huck and Buck Farm Sanctuary

We spent two nights here and had a great time- we enjoyed meeting their dogs, the cats they feed, and the farm animals, and the bath house honestly looks nicer than many full on hotels I’ve stayed in before. Michael and Andrea are really welcoming and kind hosts and you can tell they really want campers staying on their land to have a good time. Both went out of their way to introduce themselves and make sure we were comfortable. We had mentioned in passing that we were there to do some birding and came back to an article on the best birding spots in the area printed and left at our tent, which was really thoughtful! We bought some of their eggs and they are delicious

We had a great time tent camping at the Huck and Buck farm. Plenty of space for our dog and we enjoyed the firewood option. The bathroom was awesome and we got a great tour of the farm! Would definitely go back!

Just - amazing!!! We were spoiled! Electricity at our site (moved to 1 from 3 as there had been a lot of rain; can definitely attest that this was brilliant aforethought, Marian and Mike! Thank you!!!), a garbage can, and waterproof container of kindling. Firewood aplenty and a bathroom - a real, warm bathroom with a toilet and sink :) As well as a hot shower and sink for doing dishes! The fire pit was a set up for wood (which we prefer) or charcoal (also provided!!!). We cooked all of our meals at our site and couldn't have asked for a better set-up! It was SO quiet, it was like a dream!! Flat, level ground and many trees made it easy to pitch our tent, put a tarp over the picnic table, and set up the runner for our fur-footed family member! The boys absolutely loved feeding the animals and spending time with them each day. Plenty of space to roam and the holly forest was truly beautiful! This is definitely not just somewhere to camp, it is magical! Thank you, Marian and Mike, for sharing your piece of land and peace of mind, body, and spirit! We cannot wait to come back and visit with you again!!

Weekend Trip to Huck and Buck Farm Sanctuary

We had a great stay at Huck & Buck Farm! The tiny home was perfect for our couple's getaway. It is tiny but it had everything we needed. Bed (pretty sure it was a queen size), refrigerator, microwave, Keurig and coffee bar, plates, silverware, cups, and more. There was a deck with seating and a private hot tub, a firepit with additional seating for chillin' or cooking. And very nice bathrooms. The tiny home also has air conditioning and heating, so it is suitable to stay in all year. Andrea & Michael are hospitable and were responsive to a couple of additional needs we had during our stay. The area is quiet yet close enough to the main town for places to eat if you don't want to cook on the fire pit or if the weather isn't cooperating. We'll be back again!

I love this place so much. Everyone there was so nice. The cabin was so cute. The walls in the kid room was dirty, but it did take away from how nice this place was; and it was so close from OC we loved it! We can't wait to come back again.

Weekend Trip to Secluded Lakeside Haven @ the Shore

Staying on Robin’s property felt like a dream. Private, beautiful, and serene. The loft is cozy, clean and filled with so many things to do (games, books, puzzles, etc). We enjoyed biking to the Cape May Zoo (private bike path behind the house), exploring the property (there’s SO MUCH to see) and relaxing. It was a rejuvenating trip, and we can’t wait to come back when it’s warmer. Even in the off-season, there is so much to do!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Huck and Buck Farm Sanctuary, and I must say it was an incredibly relaxing and heartwarming experience. This unique "bring your own tent" retreat offers a peaceful escape where you can connect with nature and, most importantly, some of the sweetest farm animals I've ever met.The highlight of my stay was definitely the animals. I spent hours interacting with the chickens, whose beautiful and vibrant feathers made each one feel like a work of art. The large turkeys were such characters—so talkative and full of personality! I had so much fun just listening to their distinctive calls.The ducks were absolutely lovable, and the goats were friendly, playful, and so photogenic! Of course, I can’t forget the pigs—especially the big, friendly ones that seemed to just want belly rubs all day long. But the true star of the show for me was the adorable little pot-bellied pig, who I couldn’t resist renaming "Oreo" due to his charming personality and color.The farm also had some sweet, curious cats roaming around, and I had a few delightful encounters with them. And let's not forget the pond duck—so cute and peaceful, adding to the serene atmosphere of the whole place.As for the facilities, I was beyond impressed with the bathroom! It was so luxurious and cozy, with a warm, welcoming vibe, complete with little good luck charms scattered around. It was a small detail, but it added to the overall sense of comfort and care the farm provides.

What a fun night we had at Huck & Buck Farm! It was our maiden voyage for our new RV and Andrea and Michael's farm could not have been a better choice for us. Andrea is so patient and generous and made sure we had a full tour of their place. I honestly don't think she ever stops working. LOVED all the animals -- too many chickens to count, ducks, goats, pigs, and turkeys. It's amazing what they have done with their farm and I want to return to see what they build next. We brought home eggs and chicken and would have brought home some late season peppers but time got away from us. We also brought our two dogs and their property is plenty big enough to take nice walks.

Nice little cabin for a weekend trip. Has a nice porch and all the basic amenities you need. The campground itself is on the small side but still has a few fun things to do. We liked the jumping pillow and bought a few bags of gems/fossils to sift through.

Which yurt should I choose? The main difference between the Painted Pony yurt and the Stargazer yurt is the roof and setting. The Stargazer yurt has a clear roof and sits in the open. (Keep in mind elements out of our control like wind, dust, and pollen counts can make the Stargazer yurt roof less clear.) The Painted Pony yurt, has a regular canvas roof and sits in the shade. Both yurts have 3-speed fans included and do not have AC or heat. 5. Extra guests in the yurt? The yurts have a strict 2-guest-only policy. 6. Can friends (not on my reservation) come visit me? No. All visitors here must be registered guests as the public is not granted access here. 7. How far is the beach? North Ocean City, MD and Fenwick Island DE are both only 5-6 miles away. 8. How secure is the camping area? There is a coded entrance gate at the property entrance along with 6 outdoor security cameras that stay on 24 hours a day for guest and livestock safety. The locations are 2 at the entrance gate, barn house entrance/building overhang, tiny house entrance, horse grooming area, parking area, and inside the stables. These outdoor cameras also record at night and are available for any emergency services to review. 9. Are there animals nearby? Yes! Cowtown is named after our unique Scottish Highland bull with one horn up and one down. You'll see “Herbie” peacefully grazing in a nearby pasture along with horses, goats, an alpaca, a sheep, a rare curly-haired pig, a peacock, and fancy top-hat chickens that all call the ranch home. 10. Participating in a guest activity is mandatory here. We have FREE indoor scavenger hunts and the FREE Name Challenge memory game. Our most popular experience is "Chores N' Tour” where you meet up with Shelley to feed and get up close and personal while feeding 20+ animals. Go ahead! take selfies with Fonzie the kissing alpaca, play the rollover challenge with Charlotte the pig, and hay the jumping goats. As a bonus, Shelley will also let you check out the inside of any unoccupied Airbnbs on the property to plan your next trip! Chores N' tour is $10/ person. 1 hr. long. Also on-site, are Brush N' Bond horse grooming sessions, horse whispering lessons, and farm animal paint sessions. Once you book, send Shelley a message with your chosen ranch activity! 11. Do guests have access to the entire ranch? No, guests have access to the glampground, cornhole, and parking area here at the ranch. The rest of the property is reserved for our animal rescue (habitats) and fenced off for safety. Animals are easily viewed from all locations while the goats can be pet and fed anytime if you bring some baby carrots or string beans. 12. What sounds can I expect to hear? Expect to hear typical sounds of nature such as crickets, owls, and the crackling of a fire. In the morning, you'll hear our sweet goat trio, Charlotte the pig, and her excited "oinks" along with the occasional "moooo" and possibly a crow from the rooster and a "honk" from Petey our peacock who is ready for breakfast! 13. What are the check-out procedures? We ask that guests leave the yurt the way they found it (neat and tidy.) We also love to brag about any super clean guests!

We're located in rural, outdoorsy South Jersey, and while our property is only 1 acre, we're surrounded by trails, trees, and right on a National Wild and Scenic River. During the warmer months, the Great Egg Harbor River is one of the best birding spots in the U.S., and is fantastic for kayaking, river tubing, and fishing. You'll be able to use our rope swing, star-gaze while laying on the 6-person hammock, and cook on the fire pit. We're also walking distance from miles and miles of hiking, mountain biking, ATV-ing, and horseback riding trails for adventurous afternoons. Drop in your kayak at Penny Pot park and kayak straight our property, or leave from our dock and get picked up 5 miles down at Weymouth park. Spend an hour tubing down our river and walk right back to camp with a 15 minute walk in the woods, then do it all over again! The town of Hammonton (the "Blueberry Capital of The World") is just 15 minutes away, and has a super cute downtown where you can find awesome shops, restaurants, wineries and breweries. The beaches in Atlantic City are only 30 minutes out, and Philadelphia is 45 minutes by car or 1 hour by train. Local grocers like Bagliani's, or large stores like Walmart and Shoprite are located within a 10-15 minute drive. Gas stations, a WaWa, and three restaurants can be found within a 5-8 minute drive. Experience a relaxing weekend out in the woods and by the water, while staying close to amenities and other fun outings. If you bring your own Van, Schoolie, Trailaer, or mid-sized RV, we have 30amp and 15amp hookups available in our driveway. All trash brought into or created on site must be packed out when you leave.
