Sweet Song Acres is 100+ acres of secluded forest nestled along the Little Sugar River, at the base of Perry Mountain.
Located in rural Unity, NH and Charlestown, NH, just across the Vermont state line. Southernmost point, located in Charlestown is one of two campsites. The other is Shady Grove, located in Unity.
The two sites, located in bordering towns share the same entrance and are connected by a 1/4 mile trail. Both are very large sites. Campers would drive to both sites down a trail so we highly recommend a vehicle with decent clearance and 4WD or AWD. Southernmost Point is a fully drive-in site. Shady Grove campers park above the site and the campsite is down a short path, just a few hundred feet or so.
The property consists of varied terrain of rock ledges, lush moss, streams, and panoramic views at the summit. There are many options of local outdoor activities in the area or if you prefer, just sit and "listen to the river sing sweet songs to rock your soul".

This is the private campsite we developed on our farm several years ago for when my wife and I need a little getaway, but don't have the time to travel. Shaded Brookside Glen is a level, mowed lawn surrounded by mature trees and bushes. Dry camping only, but a nice composting outhouse is easily available nearby. Water is available from the year round trout stream, but drinking water must be carried in. Shaded Brookside Glen has a picnic table, a metal fire pit, and limited fire wood is supplied. The drive to the site is across a grassy, mowed, well drained field, but can be effected by long periods of rain.

We are located on a private 36 acres of mostly woodland. We abut 100 acres of conservation land and another 100 acres of private woodlands.
Park at the end of Farley Rd on the RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROAD. The sites are a short 5 minute hike to the campsites. The property on the left side of Farley Road is private property, no trespassing, be respectful.
There is a marsh and a creek on the property that support myriad wildlife. There are owls, loons, eagles, hawks, hermit thrushes, robins, turkeys, song birds and herons. There are deer, moose, bear(don't leave your food out!), chipmunks, squirrels, opossum, raccoons(don't leave your food out!), skunks, minks, otters and many other species in our neighborhood. We live at the end of a dead end road with very little traffic.
No potable water provided, bring a filter and filter fresh water while you are here. Outhouse is easily accessible for all campers. Just before the Quiet campsite there is a trail for the outhouse on the right.

State rail trail is nearby also (bottom of Raccoon Hill and rt 11) Giving access to the entire state! Highland Lake is a few miles away. Webster Lake is a bit further down the road. Spacious Skies French Pond Campground was family friendly, lovely, well-organized and welcoming. There was terrific communication at every step of the way. The pond was lovely and it was quiet. The sites were spacious and ours was wooded, had electric, sewer, and water on each site, lots of sites near wooded areas. The Lakeview site was more like a short walk from our site to the pond, but the pond and beach area was substantial, set up well with Adirondack chairs, picnic tables, kayaks, on the beach. It was truly peaceful and joyful with lots of kids playing. There was an issue with the sewer at one point at a neighboring site that was resolved promptly. We left having made friends and having booked a return within a month.

Mark is a great host and very accommodating, his camp and property are some of the quietest we've ever stayed on with our 16' camper. Each corner of the property is more beautiful than the next. Between the serene pond, swaying maples and a small vineyard, you'll find yourself in no short supply of relaxing scenes. Stop scrolling and book it now! There is no Verizon service at the site but a small walk uphill will get you a bar if need be. Our dogs were on cloud 9 between swimming and frolicing. We will definitely be staying again! A+

Amazing campsite with a beautiful view. Great wooden furniture provided for a very comfortable stay. Paddle boat was a super fun bonus to have as well. Mark was very friendly and accommodating. It is clear he takes great care of the site.

We had a wonderfully peaceful stay on Kris' land. She was away when we arrived but gave great instructions for arrival and parking. The RV site worked very well for our 21' campervan.We later took a beautiful walk into town to attend the weekly contra dance and got to connect with Kris then and visit briefly. All in all a pleasant experience, and the site was everything we needed to have a safe and quiet spot to sleep, fell asleep listening to area loons.

This was our second stay here, and we can’t say enough great things about it. We had nice weather so we spent a lot of time by the pond, used the grill, sat by the fire pit, and even watched some downloaded shows on our laptop at night in the screened gazebo. We are truly grateful to Mark and his family for this site and for being such excellent hosts!

This campground was beautiful - wide open space with some shade and access to a water hookup. The water is from a local spring - and it tasted great! The campsite has a cute little area to sit with a handmade "stump" table, umbrella, chairs, and a nice firepit.
The view of the fields surrounded by trees and a cute barn was picturesque. The hosts are very friendly and respond quickly to questions. They have a nice looking farm with, chickens, mini-horses, a pig, and a farm dog. Lots of places to hike just a short drive away.
Just around the corner from the entrance to their property, there is literally a pipe coming out of the rock on the roadside, with water free-flowing out of it. There is a spot or two to pull over, and there was usually someone there with empty containers to fill up with ice cold Spring Water! We were going hiking one day and decided to stop there to fill up our Camelbaks. The water really was good... no sulfery taste to it. Very refreshing!
We'd definitely visit again if we're in the area.

We really enjoyed our stay. Our hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming! We had originally booked an RV site with power, but when we arrived, they let us know there was a power outage. They were so accommodating and quickly found us another spot on the property where we could hook up. The property itself is absolutely beautiful, peaceful and spacious.
One heads-up: definitely pack plenty of bug spray and tick repellent. The bugs were active, and our pups needed lots of tick checks! That said, we’d absolutely come back. Great experience overall!
