This was the most breathtaking view! Nothing could have prepared me for how incredible the stars would be. We had firewood prepared for us, a picnic table, and two benches on our site. Rain would’ve made it challenging to pull up to our site but we were lucky to have perfect weather. I’d recommend this site to anyone and everyone. The cows were some fun friendly faces to pull up to. 🐮❤️
My husband and I will remember this stay for the rest of our lives! Thank you, Jean and Wade.

My wife and I love staying with Jean and Wade . You'll be met by gracious and welcoming hosts. Sites are open and clean,sited on a rise overlooking their beautiful farm ! With views of receding mountains to the east and Mt Ascutney to the south. Did I mention the spectacular sunrises ? !

If you want spectacular views overlooking the mountains of Vermont then this is the place! Wade & Jean are 5 star hosts! Extremely accomodating. Short drive to Woodstock to shop & browse. Beautiful rural dirt road leads you to 3 sites in an open field still allowing privacy for each camper. We had a fire in the new fire pit, dinner at the picnic table and got to see an incredible sunset with a full moon to follow. Can't say enough about this amazing spot & will be back to try some winter camping soon!

We really loved our stay here! The farm is beautiful, and we enjoyed being able to visit all of the farm animals. Our dog was happy to explore too. There are multiple sites to choose from, all with beautiful views. The shared outhouse is very clean and cute. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and kind. We’ll definitely stay here again if we’re ever in the area!

I really enjoyed my camping stay at Hearth House Farm. Wade and his wife were very welcoming and friendly. They even had a fire burning for me as my check in arrival was after sunset. The camp site was in an open field with views of the farm and valley. Beautiful sun rises and beautiful starlight nights. Extremely quiet evenings. This location is on a very rural country road and traffic is very minimal due to it being only used by the local residents coming and going. I would recommend staying at this location to anyone looking for a place to unwind.

Absolutely stunning camping. Super easy to find, and the hosts are incredibly kind and helpful. They even provided me a brand new fire pit to use for my fire. The composting toilet is clean/hygienic and easy to use. The views are amazing. No mosquitoes!

We spent two nights on Jean and Wade's farm and it was perfect! A huge fire pit, gorgeous views, and peace & quiet! Such a great location too - you feel like you're in the middle of nowhere but you're no more than 15 mins from some great spots! We visited the National Historic Park nearby, VINS nature center & trail break tacos - highly recommend! Wade was so kind & had a fire started for us when we arrived. We hope to come back to enjoy the land soon.

Our stay at Jean and Wade’s was wonderful. The land itself is gorgeous and settled into rolling hills and farmlands of Vermont without being far from Quechee and Woodstock (or out of cell phone range!). The composting outhouse was meticulously clean. Wade introduced himself and gave us plenty of firewood. It was a quiet, beautiful weekend!

This property was perfect for our needs. Loved the picnic table and fire pit, and that we could pull up our car right next to it . We found it very scenic as the name suggests. The host was extremely friendly and helped us get a fire going. So welcoming! We will definitely be back.

The spot we had was beautiful- scenic view of the farm, animals, land. There was a premade fire pit and Wade came and built us a huge fire the first night. These are true Vermonters- tough and kind! I recommend this spot- great for kids and dogs (check out the Hartford diner for breakfast).

My husband and I had the GREAT pleasure of car-camping on Jean and Wade's beautiful farm for a night this past week and we couldn't be more pleased! Jean and Wade were phenomenal hosts and so kind to offer us a bit of history about the farm and area. As others have noted, the farm is incredibly quiet and peaceful with its rolling hills. We feel grateful to have experienced a working farm with such a deep legacy. We will most certainly be back next time we're in the greater Woodstock area!

We loved staying with Jean and Wade! They were both extremely friendly and let us pick our own spot at their farm. Wade also provided us firewood which was super kind. I would absolutely recommend staying here and I hope to stay again soon in the near future!

Wade met us and found the perfect spot for our new 24ft RV. It was beautiful and quiet and perfect! Birds, cows and some deer each day were fun to watch and our host was super friendly and fun to chat with.
Bug spray and farm fresh eggs were promptly delivered as well! Do not hesitate to book!

I had a great time! The views was beautiful the sight was spacious and felt private it was easy to find and Jean and Wade are so kind and accommodating. They introduced me to all their animals and the other campers. It was a great experience. You're 15 minutes away from Lebanon and only seconds from town. The only thing I would say is unless you're used to roughing it roughing it there is only one restroom and it is a little hike unless you pick the site right there and it is outdoors. So it might be more of a camper popup or self contained camping experience. But I had an amazing time it was fantastic!

Everything was so beautiful. Jean and Wade are very accommodating and felizible as well as kind and helpful. The site was surprisingly easy to find and get to. You're close to the town and to Lebanon if you need supplies. The views are insane and Jean and Wade are the best. I was shown around the farm and Introduced to all the animals and other campers. It was such a fun time! My only thing would be that if you're not used to more roughing it camping I would say make sure you have a pop up or something self contained as there is only one restroom and it is a little home depending on where you decide to stay, and it is outdoors. But other than that everything was so amazing.

I had so much fun! It was surprisingly easy to find seeing as how it seems like it's kinda in the middle of nowhere the hosts are So kind and attentive. They showed me around the farm and Introduced me to all the animals and other campers. I had a great time the views were unbelievable. Jean and Wade are so sweet and offer so much help. I definitely reccomend. Probably better if your in like a popup or something self contained as there is only one restroom and it is a little bit of a walk to get to depending on where you stay but other than that it was amazing.
