The site is located behind many large pine trees in the upper part of the field across from our house which is hidden and cannot be viewed from the campsite. You can connect with wifi at the wifi sign near the beginning of the campsite road. We have a few hiking trails on Blood brook road one of which you can walk to from our home and it’s only a very short distance away. We are located 3 miles from Lake Fairlee Public beach also known as Treasure Island so bring your swimsuit! We are also within 5 minutes of the Lake Fairlee boat launch so feel free to bring your canoe or kayak and enjoy a paddle around our beautiful lake. We enjoy hosting both families and large groups looking for a place to unwind.

This is a 200 year old farm filled with life. There are well groomed areas and other more wild areas. We are on almost 13 acres of land that attracts all forms of natural wildlife. In addition, we have alpacas, pigs, sheep, goats, dogs, a cat and chickens. There is a beaver pond on the lower property. Each site includes a place to sit and eat (ie. picnic table), fire pit and just breathtaking views. Campers can drive into and park at their site. Each site is separate and private from other sites. We are 15 minutes from Highland Mountain Bike Park We are 15 minutes from BankNH Pavillon (concerts) We are 15 minutes from The Weirs in Laconia (Bike Week) We have two outdoor showers that are very rustic and open and the water is the temperature of the surrounding air (bring a bathing suit or something to shower in, there is no privacy fence at this time) This is an active farm that has an operating butcher shop on the premises. We have a farm store offering a variety of items for sale including eggs, honey, rubs and much more. There is a microwave available to the campers in the farm store as well. Each site will be given a bundle of fire wood on the house, additional wood is for sale. You are welcome to participate in farm work. Coffee (from a local NH roaster), tea, hot chocolate and potable water (from the faucet) will be available daily. We are a farm family with young children so large and rowdy or drinking parties are very heavily discouraged.

We are excited to offer this amazing tipi camping experience on our working horse property. The tipi design is the basic Sioux design; the makers of our tipi were chosen to provide all the tipis for the movie Dances with Wolves because of their respect for authenticity and excellent craftsmanship. The tipi is 18' W x 15' H. Inside, it is roughly 16' in diameter and 13'2" high. It has a 6' entrance with a zippered door and mosquito mesh. There is mosquito netting around the top smoke flaps and a critter guard mesh that covers the bottom circumference where the tipi and floor meet. To keep things warm on those chilly nights or take the edge off the crisp morning air, there is a small wood pellet stove inside. There is a queen-size futon and plenty of space to sleep on the floor with your own sleeping bags or cots. The maximum occupancy is 6 people. The campsite setup is a mixture of Indigenous and Cowboy Western culture. It features a dining area close to the tipi with a picnic table. You can relax at the fire pit area beside the Kampfire Cauldron (handmade on-site!) and enjoy cookouts, campfires, and great conversations with friends and family while listening to the calm waters of Giles Brook a few feet away. Firewood is included in your stay. An outhouse is also located nearby, so you don’t have to entirely "rough it." Potable water can be provided if you do not bring your own. La Lu Farm is a beautiful property! The Goat Yurt is comfortable and the wood-burning stove makes it very cozy. The yurt is a good base camp for exploring the cute nearby towns and hiking in the Green Mountains. On a cold night, be sure to bring a warm sleeping bag and extra firewood (also, bring toilet paper for the outhouse). My spouse and I had lovely stay and would recommend!

Base camp was a beautiful spot for my son and I to hang out an relax for the night it’s a generous and impeccably maintained property nestled in an incredible grove of trees; and easy to find as it’s tucked just off a quiet road. I was worried about being cold in mid-October but we couldn’t have been more comfortable with the space heater and cozy bedding. Joseph’s communication and hospitality were top notch too! We highly recommend this property.

What a cute cabin and perfect for our needs! The hosts were incredibly responsive to our questions and the experience was just wonderful. Having the private dock was such a nice treat and allowed some proper relaxation. We would highly recommend!

Weekend Trip to Greenbush Farm

Had an amazing getaway from Boston at Peter’s property. The campsites were private and quiet and all amenities were as described. Each site had a fire ring, picnic table, and a charcoal grill. A clean stream runs along each site. There was enough water in the stream to float on a tube even during a recent drought. My partner and two dogs had a great time and can’t wait to be back. Highly recommended

Loved the camp site, really nice view especially during sunrise / sunset hours. The site is clean, with convenient fire pit and level ground for pitching a tent. The farm as a whole has a lot of fun animals to checkout, overall a nice experience.

Weekend Trip to Baker Rocks

The property is absolutely gorgeous with amazing views of the mountains from anywhere you are. We stayed at River run tent site and LOVED it. The tenting, bathhouse and air bb sites are all so well maintained and cute. We loved that it was so spaced out between sites, making it feel private and more immersed in the beautiful NH mountains. Public beach available to guests that’s right on the river. The little reception cabin had anything you might need and availability to buy wood bundles at anytime. We will definitely be back!

2 nights at La Lu Farm camp site

My partner and I booked a camping trip at La Lu's Farm and we loved it. We were there in early October and the foliage around the property was beautiful. We stayed in one of the Yurts and it was super cozy. The goats were super friendly too! Also, I really appreciate how responsive Constancia was to all of our questions!

7 nights at La Lu Farm camp site

My partner and I spent a week at LaLu Farms for a getaway and to experience Vermont during the beginning of Fall. Constancia was a fantastic contact leading up to our trip, texting me various places we should try for local foods and trails. When we arrived, her husband, Kevin, greeted us and walked us down to the yurt(about a 3 minute walk from where we parked). We were provided a good amount of firewood for the week, and we're told to take any wood we found in the surrounding woods if we needed more. The yurt was nice and cozy, with a cast iron heater to keep us warm on the cooler nights. The view of Green Mountain National Forest from the porch was worth the trip in of itself!! Kevin and Constancia would check in if they were out when we returned, but let us be and enjoy the trip. The goats (8 of them) were such sweethearts. Very shy at first, but by the last day they were walking up to us and trying to be part of the family. The whole yurt and area we started felt like it was our own little goat farm. There was a compost outhouse near the yurt, which was very well kept and much better than we imagined! There is a shower and running toilet in the barn, which we used a few times. It does have a little smell of a barn, but nothing too overpowering and was very nice when coming back from a long hike. The village of Waitsfield was a hidden gem. About 10 minutes from the farm, it has everything you need.

Weekend Trip to Greenbush Farm

Awesome place to camp! Each site is very wide and very isolated. My dog had plenty of room to run around. Peter also makes it very easy to purchase wood from him. Will definitely be booking again in the future!
