Beautiful, private camp site on Broadbrook Mtn. This camp site is the only one on the farm and you have the entire property to yourself. The the camp site is located up 1/16 mile dirt driveway with closest neighbors 1/2 mile away. The site is adjacent to a ravine with a babbling brook, perfect for a cold plunge, foot soak or forest bathing (see photos). The site is surrounded by apple orchards and beautiful woods including an old woods road perfect for forest strolling. Broadbrook Mountain Farm is located at the top of the mountain, with beautiful mountain vistas, scenic hayfields and pastures. We are situated within many miles of dirt roads, perfect for gravel riding and long walks. We provide a fire pit, composting toilet, picnic table and adirondack chairs. **** If you are planning to have a fire we are requiring that wood be purchased from us due to concern for conservation of our micro ecosystem and prevention of the Emerald Ash Borer (which has now reached portions of VT). Please add wood to your booking. If you need additional wood, you can pay in cash or connect for paypal. Thank you for your understanding and please reach out with any questions. **** Silver Lake State Park is approximately 10 mins away for fantastic swimming and stand up paddle boarding. Get yourself a maple cremee at a local farmstand, pop into Kiss the Cow and visit the Barnard General Store. We are 20 minutes to Woodstock and all of it's shops and restaurants. 10 mins to South Royalton where you'll find delicious coffee, tacos, an awesome co-op, the original Worthy Burger and more. This is a great spot... out of the way, but not too far. Campsite is private and down a fair bit from the house, at the end of driveway where some kind of FWD is a good idea. Our host went above and beyond, making sure we had water, bug spray, TP... just a nice touch, all around. Would absolutely go back.

We had a great time tent camping on Dena’s property. The camping area is down the driveway from the house but secluded. The area was flat and free from rocks/roots so it was easy to set up camp. Dena also had a box with toilet paper, matches, and some other small amenities to help make the stay a breeze. I would definitely recommend the area to anyone looking for an easy-to-access camping site!

Everything was perfect! the site was peaceful and private and the host was responsive and went above and beyond making recommendations for nearby activities. Would definitely recommend the nearby maple creamees ;)

Gorgeous, completely secluded. Just you and the birds. Camping under apple trees and a carpet of stars. Exactly as described. Highly recommend the nearby maple creemee stand!

My stay at Broad Brook camp was incredible from beginning to end. The drive to the camp is lined with picturesque and lush Vermont greenery. The camp was well marked from the road and the campsite was clearly labeled. Communication and information from the hosts was seamless and timely. A brand new picnic table, solar lights, and a fire place created a perfect campsite. Fire wood was available for purchase, which was super convenient. The entire stay was serene, peaceful and just what was needed. You can hear the brook from the campsite which added to tranquility. The stargazing was exceptional as the camp site is far from any light pollution. I highly recommend staying at the Broad Brook Hip camp sites. We can’t wait to be back!
