Sunset Mountain is an exclusive reservation only 18+ clothing optional/nudist campground located on my working cattle farm. (Please do not drive up to our gate and try to get in. Please make a reservation in advance.) Although we cater to adults only we follow TNSF and AANR guidelines for social nude recreation. If you are not familiar with TNSF or AANR you can do a quick internet search and see some basic guidelines for social nude recreation. Sunset Mountain does typically operate as a blind service venue meaning we do business online and we and or our maintenance team may not be seen during your stay. Sunset Mountain is a nice quiet place to relax and work on your tan. We have RV sites, tent camping areas a bus, container and camper available as lodging options. The campground has a bathroom facility with indoor shower and outdoor showers. We have a hot tub guests can use along with hiking trails and a propane grill.
Sunset Mountain is near the Elk River in Noel Missouri and close to Northwest Arkansas where there are mountain biking trails, museums and many other activities. Sunset Mountain is listed on the Monarch Butterfly Waystation registry as well. Come stay on the buff bluff!

Welcome to The Ridge Ranch LLC, a 10 acre Campground short term vacation rental glampground adjacent to The Huckleberry Ridge Conservation Area, located 3 miles from where Little Sugar Creek and Big Sugar Creek converge to form Elk River.
We have one short term vacation rental cabin listing “The Little Sugar Shack”, one long term cabin listing “The Ridge Adventure Center”, a 4 bed 2 bath “The Ridge Ranch House” available April 1st, 2026 and a 2025 Forest River Veranda RV listing. These are found on a competing short term rental platform.
In addition we offer primitive camping for your whole group and the 3 RV sites found here on Hipcamp including 30/50 amp electric/water sites and a dump station.
We are an ADULTS ONLY glampground and the hot tub is NO longer an amenity for use by Rv groups. We apologize for the convenience but the hot tub is only available to the guest renting The Little Sugar Shack or the entire glampground.
Up to two pets per reservation are allowed with a $25 per pet fee which will added after host confirms with you whether or not you will be arriving with pets, PRIOR TO accepting or declining your reservation.

This property has beautiful walking/hiking trails through the woods with gorgeous mountain views. Enjoy the sounds of the woods, in a private, quiet and serene setting. The open space can be used to practice tomahawk/hatchet throwing, bow and arrow target practice. One may chop and stack firewood. Available: Fire-pit cooking, berry-picking (seasonal) rock hunting and carry water from the live spring. There is fire-wood available for the fire pit. Can’t recommend this camp site enough. Between the campsite itself, the trail and all of the other amenities, this campsite is perfect. And not only is the campsite awesome and secluded, Michael is an excellent host and made sure we had or needed anything. Can’t wait to keep coming back here and making awesome memories.

Weekend Trip to Explore the Ozarks - Dockley Ranch
The farm was wonderful. Was visited by goats and an alpaca also several very friendly dogs hung out with me while stargazing. Myke and Claire are wonderful hosts! Very much appreciated the warm cabin this cold December weekend! The hilltop/hammock area has an amazing view of the night sky. So happy to have watched the 2025 Geminids from here and would totally stay out here again.

Had a great experience at this campground! We originally reserved spot 12 but got upgraded to 13 (closer to the river) by the owner, due to not many campers being out there! It was a beautiful private spot. Appreciated the facilities and amenities and enjoyed the views immensely.

Kevin is a gracious host. His place was welcomed shelter on a cold, rainy, very windy night. I was comfy cozy in the upstairs room. Kevin is new to Hipcamp and is still working on the amenities, but I had everything I needed with me since I was car camping. I even decided to stay a second night.

Clean, private, and spacious. The host was great and accommodating, the property and views were beautiful, and there was even some wildlife. Note that the ground is quite rocky when hammering in stakes. You do hear animals at night (coyotes, dogs, and a rooster) and planes fly overhead (I guess the site is near an airport), but I slept well with earplugs. I had good mobile service in some spots.
