We love this campground. Quiet, beautiful, lots of space, and has what we need. There is so much to see and do in the surrounding area making it an ideal location.

We absolutely loved our stay on the trout stream.Was beautiful location deep in the valley.The best part is we had it all to ourselves.That made it quiet and peaceful so you could hear the many bird songs and of course the babbling brook! We are booking again soon

This was a beautiful spot! The creek was crystal clear, cool, and refreshing to go along with a background with the bluffs. For those of us who prefer simplistic and the way camping should be, this is an ideal spot.

1 night at Bluffscapes Camping

Me and my husband had booked the Cedar Grove site for Friday Saturday and Sunday, but we ended up wanting to stay another day so Alan let us know that the Meadowland was available and it seriously was just as amazing as the Cedar Grove and a beautiful change of scenery with a beautiful little meadow that you get to be in with beautiful sunlight! Such peaceful noise in the background at night time and bugs were not bad at all!!! Everything is so well taken care of!! Allen and Cheryl were some of the biggest blessings to us. Definitely was divine intervention that we got to meet and get to be there if you’re looking to get away with you and some friends definitely book the Meadowland. There’s lots of space for friends and if you’re looking just to get away with your significant other, it’s the best place to be.

Highly recommend Healing Hills! We had campsite #3, which was a great balance of privacy while still being near the “toilets.” Brandon was very friendly and helpful. The land around it was beautiful. We went to Wildcat State Park, which had some great dog-friendly trails.

We loved this beautiful quiet spot in the woods. We enjoyed site five, which was the furthest removed and quietest site on a full Memorial Day weekend. The site was clean and serene, pit toilets were as nice as any I’ve used, and the location was perfect for a weekend of exploring the Driftless and hiking at Wildcat Mountain State Park. We hiked the property with our kids and pups and found plenty of space for some improvised disc golf and softball catch. The entire family, pups included, had an absolutely wonderful camping experience. Thank you!!!

Beautiful campsite, we loved being right next to the water and how private and quiet the site was. There was many birdwatching opportunities and the dogs loved running around and all the smells.

If you want total privacy, peace and quiet, a large campsite, amazing views, trails to roam, and don’t want to feel like you’re camping in someone’s backyard (which can happen with Hipcamp), this is your spot. You’ll need to have proper gear for “backpacking” (15 minute hike for us, mostly uphill) - lightweight tent, etc., as it wouldn’t be ideal to make multiple trips to your car. We will be back sometime for sure. Close to La Crosse. We were in the area for rock climbing at Granddad Bluff ~20 minutes away.

The Cedar Grove campsite was seriously amazing! Me and my husband spent the whole day hammock to look at the view and cooking over the bonfire! It was so much fun. We got to hear all the different birds in do bird calls and see them fly by as well as seeing little critters at night time very very safe very very calm. This was everything me and my husband needed to get away and disconnect. And it’s such a fun time being able to exercise and hike up.

Campsite was normal! Vegetation in-between sites provided a little privacy. For the price - I think the bathrooms could use an upgrade. The outhouses were functional but some toilet seat lids were broken and there was no hand sanitizer.

Great spot. Steep hill, tight corner to get in the driveway, but a lot of room to turn around once you’re on the property. Empty site our night. Quality firewood and fire pit/chairs

5 nights at New Hartford trout camp

This is such a lovely spot, right next to the trout stream. Beautifully clear water and mostly private. You can hear a little road traffic but not bad at all. The host stopped by the first day and then just let me alone...which is what I prefer. I'll be back!
