5 nights at Paquin Farm

I spent 5 nights taking care of things in Minneapolis before flying back to Europe. It is a very nice and quiet place. It was easy checking. I had access to water and portable potty was available. A bit far if one needs to go the twin cities but the traffic was never bad at all. Thank you for making my stay easy.

Weekend Trip to The Oaks at Oakwood Farm

Beautiful camping spots at the back of their farm, which is fun to drive through and see the different animals. Very secluded and Jon is great. Answers messages on the app quickly but has never bothered me. This is the second time I’ve camped here and definitely recommend it.

Weekend Trip to Alpha and Omega Pizza Farm

We had an absolutely wonderful time glamping at Alpha Omega farm. The tent stayed warm and cozy with a wonderful wood-burning stove, even during an icy windstorm. Kim was so welcoming to us and our dog Violet. The land was beautiful and peaceful, and we got to wake up next to cows, donkeys, and alpacas. Also, in the morning Kim brought us the best caramel rolls and coffee we've ever had! If you're looking for something fun and different to do close to Minneapolis, I can't recommend this place enough. Truly a wonderful experience and we will definitely be back! Thank you!

Weekend Trip to Kinni Croix Farms

Amy’s property was so wonderful! It was quiet and private, yet just a short hike to the bank of the St. Croix river. There is a lot of open, flat land and also acres of trees and wooded trails on the property. Just really lovely!

7 nights at Tiger lake Ranch

The property is pretty much open prairie land. I saw so many different types of birds to include eagles, water fowl, (didn't hear any loons but doesn't mean there aren't any) saw a few wildlife (deer, turkey, ground hog, a couple meadow voles. ) Andrew has a farm and there are a few horses and some very friendly goats, and super friendly dog. Andrew always answered my questions and was available if I needed anything. The farm is down a long dirt road which makes the stay very peaceful, quiet, and relaxing. Thanks Andrew for a great stay! I would stay again.

1 night at Champion Valley

This site was ideal for a quick mindfulness stay. I heard a number of coyotes in the evening. As well as watching a couple of beavers work tirelessly on a huge oak tree. Fascinating rodents. I heard them around 2 in the morning. Quietly got out of my tent and crawled to the edge of a pond and there they were. I’ll be going back and I will recommend this site to my friends and family. And having free firewood to gather was an added bonus. Thanks Matt!

I’ve stayed here multiple times! I love this spot for its stargazing, beautiful sunsets, and privacy. You can’t see the house from the spot so you don’t feel looked in on-except by the cute goats in the pasture next to the site! They were adorable and stared longingly at me and my pup in the morning. I’m looking forward to staying here again!

There is a shared bathroom/changing room and trash/recycling between the sites. There is a water point in the barn if you need to fill up on drinking water just make sure you have a container for it. Site includes a picnic table and firepit and many acres with downed trees to salvage. Bundles of firewood can be purchased if needed. This area includes a back pasture and woods with trails throughout for walking/mountain biking. There are many horse trails in the area, if you want to bring your horses that is fine as long as you bring containment for them and clear it with us first. We are approximately 1 mile from a rum river access. There are multiple river trip options from our property. We are also 3 mins from lake george and the Rum River Regional Park for swimming, biking, fishing, boating, and more paddling. There is a Bills gas n grocery as well as a G-will liquors less than a minute from the property. The Ponds golf course is about 4 mins away as well. If you are looking to hit downtown Anoka that is a straight shot and approx 12 mins away. This site is on an active hobby farm that has dogs, cats, horses, chickens, goats, turkeys, and multiple gardens. We have a farm stand by the road where we sell items such as fresh roasted coffee, eggs, BBQ sauce, pickles, maple syrup, hot sauce, and more! Our farm has wooded trails, bonfire pits, is quiet and very peaceful. Our little town is 10 minutes from most shopping, with multiple restaurants minutes away. We offer multiple locations to camp on the property. There is a concrete pad with (2) 30-amp electric and (2) water hookups. The 2 sites with hookups are very level and easy to park on. There are many other areas to park and camp, with access to water for filling up tanks, and an outhouse for bathroom needs. Beanbag toss, basketball hoop, and ladder game are available upon request. Firewood available for a small fee. Pets are welcome, but must be leashed and under owner's control at all times when outside. Maximum of two pets per site.
