⛺️ Since 1949, we've been a family-operated resort & campground on Swan Lake in Fergus Falls, MN. We offer lakeside cabins, tent camping, and full hook-up, pull-through RV sites. Here, there is time to slow down, room to breathe, and lots to explore. 🏖️ Soak up the sun on the sandy beach, hike through the hidden trails, and take the pontoon out for a cruise. Be sure to turn the tech off and challenge a rival to ping pong, crack a cold one, and explore the water on stand-up paddleboard. 🍦 Bring the little ones and get messy at the arts & crafts table, catch a sunfish off the docks, and indulge in s’mores around the campfire. Don’t forget to show us what you got on the volleyball court and savor an ice cream at the camp store. Curl up in a hammock and get lost in a good book, smile at the flowers and gaze in awe at the night sky. Just be.

This old homestead belonged to my belated brother Steve, and after he passed unexpectedly, we decided to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for those interested in sharing a peaceful and modest property. The old barn is a work in progress to eventually become the base to accommodating more travelers and outdoor enthusiasts as finances permit. My son Logan, after having worked in the service industry bartending for 14 years and hosting 100+ global travelers via CouchSurfing out in San Diego, is well-versed in creating an inviting space, enjoying the merits of hard work through the hospitality industry. We look forward to meeting you and sharing/swapping stories around the campfire! Learn more about this land: Our property and profile are in constant change as we are in a stage of development, but we look to share our land with those seeking to enjoy a warm, welcome environment for those fellow wanderers, outdoor enthusiasts, vagabonds, and globetrotters. Logan is a well-traveled backpacker and together we share 5 1/2 acres here in a bustling little touristy town. We enjoy the company of those who endorse small footprint, sustainable practices and like to establish meaningful connections.  All we ask is that you respect the property, our neighbors, and make an effort to add one more new friend before you depart.

No power, water, WiFi or noise! We are Canna friendly if you can be discreet. 360 deg views of nature and sky! Beautiful sunrises & sunsets. Bring your animals (Dogs, horses, you pick) and some hiking shoes and rock hound on site. 15 minutes to nearest Walmart. 7 minutes to nearest nice restaurant & bar. Wadena & Staples are a thrift shoppers dream! Wadena also features fantastic restaurants including a superb German brewery with the best wood fire pizzas in the state, with many other unique places to check out! Nearest lake is about a 15 minute drive. There are currently 2 well water spouts to hook up to. Working on 240, but can only offer 120 by extension cord at this time. Unless you have a 20’ plus cord and don’t mind parking close to the garage. WiFi available near the house. Or get away from all the static in field of dreams. This ranch was established in 1907 and the outbuildings still need work, as well as public bathrooms which we can only offer by Porta potty for $100/day which is what we are charged. This is our first year offering camping to the public, so bear with us and help support a good cause so we can continue to add amenities here. There’s endless miles of absolutely beautiful motorcycle & trail riding out here! Funds help us continue to raise awareness to addiction & suicide and bring support to those who have been affected by either.
