A century farm located in the heart of Minnesota lakes country. The property features a hobby farm, abundant wildlife, woods, fields, pastures, and ponds. Whether you are looking to experience farm life, explore nature by hiking or canoeing, or just want to relax around the campfire, our land offers it all. My great-grandfather homesteaded here in 1893. Today my four children are the fifth generation of our family to grow up on the farm. We are happy to share it with you during your stay and hope you enjoy it as much as we do. With our own brand of camping; no overcrowded, noisy campgrounds… just peace, quiet, and serenity... this HipCamp is conveniently located near area lakes and trails. About 20 miles from the nearest town, there is an Amish general store nearby to purchase supplies.

Toad Creek Hunting Shack

Cabin · Sleeps 4 · 1 bedroom · 3 beds · 1 toilet
Take a break from the modern world at this off-grid, seasonal campsite with a rustic, unfinished cabin and outhouse. Use the two room cabin complete with all your basic needs or pitch a tent next to the creek. Located on the west end of the property, about half a mile from the farmstead, this site is very private and surrounded by nature. There is no running water, electricity, or Wi-Fi, and a vehicle capable of navigating a bumpy, wooded trail is required to access the campsite. Excerpt from our guest book: “Had a great few days at the cabin - beautiful land. You’ll wake up to the full dawn course of the early birds. Cozy and homey with nice touches that make camping feel a bit more comfortable, but still let you disconnect from the world and bathe in nature. We and our two pups thoroughly enjoyed the stay!” Laura & Tucker
