Site 213 - 5 Minute Walk to Beach
A great space tucked away by the lake! Spots are large, mostly grass but the actual parking spot is loose dirt which could prove tricky during rain. The whole place was well maintained with large open grass areas, a small lake beach, picnic areas, and playsets for kids to play. Quiet at night and everyone seemed kind and respectful. Only small issues: it wasnt the best quality well water I've seen. Smelt strongly like iron the whole time and after 2 weeks my tub was yellow- would not recomend for cooking or drinking but it just seemed like a well water thing. Also, leashes are required for dogs, but not many keep them on leash. This isn't really the owners fault, just a guest issue. But most people are nice about it, just be careful and aware when walking your dog! Overall it was a good stay! Great deal for the amount of time spent, and not a lot of people come and go- most spots are seasonal. Not that close to towns but not terribly far either, good for getting away. Would recommend!
