Located on Deer Creek, you will have access to nearly 15 wooded acres! You are experiencing Northern Michigan’s finest! The property goes across the creek to Sloop road, so you are more than welcome to explore the forests and wetlands. Please do not trespass on adjacent properties. This campsite gives you direct access to M-32, which leads to 131, M66, Charlevoix, Petoskey, East Jordan, Traverse City, Mackinaw City, Mackinaw Island, Sleeping Bear Dunes, etc. The beautiful fern, filled property is rustic to a T! Outhouse on site, newly planted fruit trees on site, very rustic, serene, beautiful, access to the Milky Way, and meteoroid showers. One mile from launch into South Arm of Lake Charlevoix, and less than 0.5 mile to Jordan River Rogers Road access. Beautiful and peaceful area. Located in Lake Charlevoix Watershed Area. Visit some of the local beautiful farms such as Friske's, Lavendar Hill, local farmers markers, and vineyards! There is a casino located in Petoskey on Little Traverse Bay of Lake Michigan as well as Mackinaw, and are a short drive away! Take a jump off the breakwall, or visit the newest bridge at Boyne Mountain Resort, just a stone's throw away! Relax in peace, the woods, and enjoy a little slice of heaven. There is no electricity, running water, or trash services. Please pack in, pack out. Please do not leave discarded or broken beer or alcohol bottles on property. There are over 30 fruit trees on site, from Black Pearl and Bing Cherries, Apricots, Peach trees, Honeycrisp apples trees etc, 250 sunflower seeds were also planted this season. This is a very delicate area near a local watershed source, Deer Creek, wetlands on property, and also fruit tree farm in it's early stages, organic strawberries, and organic raspberries growing as well. If you can't respect the trees, plants, flowers, on property please do not book! Also with all of the fruit tree plantings, parking is limited to one to two vehicles inside property at site, other vehicles can park along the drive on M32. The Tree Hugger site was perfect for our trip! Todd was a phenomenal host and gave us very clear instructions. The cabin was very cozy and comfortable. The property was gorgeous and so quiet. It was the perfect place to get away for a little while. We’ll definitely be back!

My husband and I had an amazing time. We were welcomed by the hosts who showed us around and had recommendations of restaurants and things to do in the area! They were constantly checking in, making sure we had a great time. The place was clean, quiet, and cozy. It is a great experience for those who enjoy camping but want a cozy bed to sleep in at night. The hosts also made sure we had fire wood each day and cleaned the outhouse every day. Would highly recommend this prosperity, we will be back!

Connie and Dave are great hosts with a quiet getaway. The A-frame was comfortable and clean, with nature and the creek a very short distance away. Would definitely recommend for anyone who loves nature looking to be in the Torch Lake area

2 nights at C & A Adventure
My best friend and I took a much-needed girl's trip to C&A in August. Aimee's communication and directions were extremely thorough, and amenities were better than a hotel. We packed as if we were going camping, but quickly realized we way overpacked, as Aimee had thought of everything. Chad and Aimee are lovely humans and gave us our space but still made communication easily accessible when there were any questions. We loved our campsite and enjoyed soaking up the scenery, hammocks, and firepit. The bathhouse was fully equipped with toiletries, a mini fridge, a large sink, snacks, tea, and coffee maker. Cell service was spotty, but texts still came and went eventually. The geography of this part of Michigan is absolutely beautiful, and we will keep C&A in mind for future adventures.

Weekend Trip to Torch Lake Stays
Connie and Dave have a beautiful property and went above and beyond as hosts. Their adorable A-frame was plenty of room for me and a friend to check out Northern MI. The property was clean and well taken care of and we felt completely out in nature with the off grid feel. On our second day my friend and I had a bit of car trouble (dead battery) but Dave came straight to our rescue! Although some of our plans didn’t pan out because of the car trouble, we still had a fabulous vacation. My absolute favorite part of the trip was the creek on this property, what a magical place to vacation❤️✨

Cute and private little cabin, with very kind and helpful owners. The property felt like an adorable glamping situation with everything a couple could need, including a hassle free outdoor shower and outhouse. They provided plenty of wood for nightly campfires, linens and soaps, coffee, water and more. The back side of the cabin opens to a lovely, private tree covered area with a babbling brook and gorgeous scenery. Connie and Dave were very helpful with suggesting activities and restaurants in the area. We would definitely recommend this property and plan to be back in the future!
