Chad and I are long-time residents of Kalkaska County. We are also avid kayakers, runners, and overall nature enthusiasts. We are blessed with an amazing property on the North Branch of the Manistee River! It isn't the main branch of the Manistee River, BUT it flows right into it and offers so much more privacy, quietness, and peacefulness. With the 8 acres, it's perfect for glamping camping! The amazing bath house is furnished with a roomy shower, toilet and sink. It also contains a kitchenette with a large sink, microwave, small refrigerator and breakfast table. Plug in your cell phones as well to recharge for the next day’s adventure! Coffee, spices, popcorn and breakfast treats may also be available :)

Do you love to camp but hate dragging everything with you for a weekend trip to northern Michigan? Want to fish a prime Blue Ribbon Trout Stream? Do you love being on the river and enjoy nature? Do you love all the essentials of home but don't want to have pay a fortune to enjoy the outdoors? It's the beautiful North Branch of the Manistee River that flows into the Manistee river where fishing, kayaking, canoeing, snowmobiling and snowshoeing is abundant and relaxation is always available! With your own private space that includes a real bed with warm blankets, outside fire pit, outside seating, grill, cooler, all kitchen necessities, towels, and numerous other amenities. All of this right on the banks of North Branch. Come enjoy the peace that is waiting for you! Welcome to the peace and rippling sounds of the North Branch of the Manistee River just outside your decked out glamping tent door! We now only have ONE site on premises, which means YOU will be the only one on site (occasionally owners will be on site - camper is parked on property of 8 acres). Please read reviews! There are TWO tents at this site that each contain a real full bed and two twin cots with pads - please read reviews! This is an amazing experience that will allow you to experience the outdoors with all the necessities of home! The real full bed is outfitted with warm bedding for the cool summer nights.   Each tent includes one full bed and two cots.  The site includes, pots and pans for cooking, paper and plastic ware, cooking utensils, glasses, percolator, towels, clean fresh sheets, cleaning supplies, gas grill, a grill for the campfire, a chimnea seating area, hammocks, and many other essentials! This site offers just about anything you would need for glamping/camping! For more than two guests we will offer two adults size cots outfitted with a sleeping cushion, pillows, and a sleeping bag. (Read Reviews) This unique glamping experience will offer you rest and relaxation that will also give you a glimpse of what the true up north really is. This adventure will provide a fun filled glamping getaway where you can interact with nature up close, kayak the river, fish the stream, or any other outside activity, where you can end your day with a sit by the fire at night and a beautiful star filled sky from your bed at night! There is a common bathroom/kitchen facility that offers a full bathroom for your use, and a kitchen area where you can wash dishes! The facility also has an outside shower. There is electricity that guests can use for charging phones, and other electronic devices. PLEASE NOTE: there is NO electricity at this site. We also offer the opportunity for you to rent kayaks and provide transport service for kayaking trips - please ask!

This site, our easiest accessible and recommended for those unable to walk up and down a hill to access our other two glamping sites. Equally as charming, but with an extra special feature, the Rippling Bluff site offers a stargazer Stout tent which makes this site highly desirable! With the stargazer tent, the peak is a window, where you will experience sleeping under the stars and the ability to see them from your warm and comfy real bed! The real full bed is outfitted with warm bedding for the cool summer nights. The site includes, pots and pans for cooking, paper and plastic ware, cooking utensils, glasses, percolator, towels, clean fresh sheets, cleaning supplies, gas grill, a grill for the campfire, a chimenea seating area, hammocks, and many other essentials! This site offers just about anything you would need for glamping/camping! For additional guests we offer two cots outfitted with pillows and a sleeping bag. The cots do have a foam cushion and are sized for adults. (Read Reviews) This unique glamping experience will offer you rest and relaxation that will also give you a glimpse of what the true up north really is. We had an absolute blast, the camp was super cute. Chad and Amiee were super easy to communicate with and gave good driving instructions as you will lose all cell service, (which was great). We would highly recommend their place!

UP NORTH Glamping for 8!
My best friend and I took a much-needed girl's trip to C&A in August. Aimee's communication and directions were extremely thorough, and amenities were better than a hotel. We packed as if we were going camping, but quickly realized we way overpacked, as Aimee had thought of everything. Chad and Aimee are lovely humans and gave us our space but still made communication easily accessible when there were any questions. We loved our campsite and enjoyed soaking up the scenery, hammocks, and firepit. The bathhouse was fully equipped with toiletries, a mini fridge, a large sink, snacks, tea, and coffee maker. Cell service was spotty, but texts still came and went eventually. The geography of this part of Michigan is absolutely beautiful, and we will keep C&A in mind for future adventures.

We loved camping at C&A adventures. The hosts were super helpful and welcoming. We booked a kayaking trip and Chad took care of everything. What a wonderful weekend!

We loved camping at Chad & Aimee’s. Communication was good and directions were clear. They were very accommodating and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The property is beautiful and we loved being right on the river. The 2 tents are tall, spacious and comfortable. The bathhouse is very nice. We enjoyed a fire at night. I would definitely recommend this spot if you’re looking to do some glamping.

C&A Adventure is an absolutely fabulous spot! Highly recommend. I booked both sites for a girls weekend and it was way more than anyone anticipated. They provide you with literally everything, just show up with food and ice. Each spot had its own cooler and grill along with outdoor chairs and indoor chairs. Bedding and kitchenware is also provided. The bathrooms are absolutely fantastic . Right on the river. We had a blast and absolutely loved the accommodation.

Incredible location and amazing hosts. We would absolutely stay here again. You can hear the babbling of the river, there are kayaks, 2 yurts and a boathouse. Everything you could need for a great glamping experience.

UP NORTH Glamping for 8!
This was my first Hipcamp experience. It did not disappoint. The hosts seem to really be dedicated to making sure everything is there. There’s chilled wine waiting for you. There’s coffee and coffee pots. Just bring your food and clothes and any special medications and toiletries. This spot is beautiful. There is an area lined with lights that leads to the river with chairs, hammocks and a firepit. Absolutely beautiful! You can pay a bit extra for a load of wood to be waiting at your site. It is a generous load. Everything is there to make a fire. The bed is sooo comfy. The hosts were helpful for questions because I got lost. I heard an owl. Saw a blue Jay. You are way out in nature. Just what I needed for a getaway. Lights are setup everywhere so you can find your way on the property.

We loved glamping on Chad & Aimee’s property. It all looked so beautiful and peaceful. They have everything you need and more! They provided kayaks for a fee and our kayak trip was awesome. Chad and Aimee are very helpful and accomodating. Would definitely stay here again and spread the word in The Netherlands;)

UP NORTH Glamping for 8!
I spent four nights at C&A and it was great! I slept close enough to the river that I could hear it when I fell asleep at night and woke up in the morning. Stargazing at night from the nearby hammocks was also beautiful. Aimee and Chad truly had everything you might need on site, from bug spray and firewood to fresh towels, toiletries, a big cooler, and indoor and outdoor shower facilities. They were on site for some of my time there, and they were welcoming and helpful. They provided suggestions for the nearby town, as well as Sleeping Bear Dunes, and Chad's knowledge of local wildlife made it fun to learn about the owls, cranes, and whippoorwills calling from the nearby trees. I'm already thinking of ways to go back!

Rippling Bluff, Glamping UP NORTH!
We absolutely loved Chad and Aimee’s space. Very helpful in getting us on our kayak adventure and the bathhouse experience was such a blessing to have in the middle of the woods. We will be back.

Beautiful Weekend
UP NORTH Glamping for 8!
Chad and Aimee were AMAZING hosts! They were so accommodating and exceeded every expectation we had. Their property is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Each site is private, but the shared bathhouse (which is extremely clean and comes with nicer amenities than most hotels) is a short, easy walk away. The site was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy the weekend; rain or shine. Truly, just bring your food and ice and you are set. We are also so thankful they allowed our pup to join us. She loved meeting their dogs and had an even better time than we did!!! Thank you, Chad and Aimee! We look forward to staying again soon!

Loved the Riverside Camp!

Glamping at C&A adventures was a great experience! River’s Point was indeed riverside and it was amazing to have our morning coffee by the River, and wade through the shallow water in the hot afternoons. The hosts had pretty much everything you’d need, and the added touch of local wine was very much appreciated!

The hosts go above and beyond to make sure you have EVERYTHING you need. From extra propane for the stove, plenty of wood, down to makeup removing wipes and a bottle of wine. The site was clean and welcoming. The porta potty was spotless. There’s plenty to do right on the site (fire, small hikes/walks, wade in the creek, etc) and also off site, like local lakes and restaurants.

Perfect getaway from life!
UP NORTH Glamping for 8!
As regular campers, it was a wonderful experience to glamp! Aimee had everything you can think of bringing on a trip available at the site! We actually over packed! You truly need to only bring your food, drinks and clothes. Everything else is there, even a bottle of wine for when we arrived! We loved being in the peace and quiet (the coyotes and owls calling at night were awesome). The place was so clean and the solar lights were the best touch! Their comforter was the warmest comforter I've ever slept with, was not cold at all when sleeping (high 40s, low 50s at night). I recommend printing out directions and the rules Aimee sends you. Screenahots are only useful if your phone doesnt die, which ours did.

It was amazing! Everything was there and set up. We were able to go and relax! It was close enough to the beaches. We were able to go there for a day. It was quiet and beautiful and far exceeded our expectations!

We love camping but it can get costly and take forever to set up. We decided to try this at the recommendation of a friend. It was amazing! It was quiet, beautiful and set up to where we could spend time together or chill apart. I loved sitting by the water side. It was the perfect place to slow down and enjoy each other for a few days! Would definitely stay again with these hosts ❤️

We had a wonderful stay at C & A Adventure! Aimee and Chad were perfect hosts, and the site was peaceful and idyllic! There is so much to do in the area, from hiking to kayaking the Manistee River. Every night we relaxed in the hammocks at the camp or creek side in the hammock swings. It was a perfect getaway and we can’t wait to go back.

This was an amazing place. It was very peaceful. It was very updated and clean. Trails were groomed and I loved the lights along the trails at night. You need to take nothing but your food and some ice. Wine is even provided. I have already recommended to several friends and I will return.
