Peace, quiet and a shower is what we were looking for and what we enjoyed. Serene camping in a beautiful meadow. Sandhill cranes in the distance. Stars and fireflies at night. The facilities are great though everything could use a deep cleaning but if you’re ok with rustic this place is a gem.

Loved it. Such a great spot. Peaceful, Quiet, Private. We had such a great time exploring in Paw Paw. We hit breweries, wineries, and restaurants. And we had a fantastic day at the beach (Van Buren State Park). Katelynn was responsive and attentive. We will be back for SURE!

We were coming from Colorado and our trip arrangements needed to adjust to add 3 people and a tent to the reservation. She took that all in stride so that when we arrived it was easy. The property and accommodations were just as described in the listing. It was beautiful and very quiet. Thank you, Doug and Kerri!

One Grand Place is such a beautiful spot. From our chairs near the fire pit we saw so many birds (including 2 bald eagles) and amazing sunsets over the river. Kerri and Doug are gracious hosts. We would definitely camp here again.

Great weekend at Mike’s place. We appreciated the privacy and beauty of the lot as well as the fire pit and dry firewood. We had a fire every evening. Shopping is close by as is Saugatuck Dunes State Park for hiking. There is a nice bike trail we unfortunately did not get too. Checkout out Pennyroyal Cafe for good food. We definitely recommend his place.

Good spot, hosts are very welcoming and helpful, some yard games are provided for fun and even 5 gallon solar showers w/outdoor stall for anyone that needs! Only 3 rv sites with tons of space. Be great for family get together.

Weekend Trip to Tincan Camp

If you like biking, this spot is a great option as it’s immediately adjacent to the Kal-Haven trail. If you don’t like biking, it’s great too! It’s quiet and low key but with some really nice amenities for the family. The kids loved the slide and disc golf set up. The boardwalk to the lake is also nice and we utilized the paddleboats too. Overall, really nice, quiet getaway with responsive hosts.

Took our teardrop camper here and had a great time! Short drive into town, the campsite was great, right on the river, some lawn games provided, gas grill available, kayaks to rent, clean porta potty, solar showers. We will absolutely stay again!

One Grand Place - Riverside Retreat

Welcome to our little slice of heaven along the Grand River in Grand Haven, Michigan. Voted one of the best places to visit in 2022 and 2023. This property is at the end of a private road and has three adjoining waterfront parcels that have been in the family for decades that we fondly refer to as One Grand Place. Family still lives on one of the parcels but we are excited to be sharing the other 2 parcels with all of you. One parcel is our Premium RV site on a cement pad, parallel to the river and can accommodate 1 RV (5th wheel, travel trailer, pop up, Class C etc. NO Class A's allowed). 30/50/standard 110 Electric and water hookup. Pump out is available for a fee. The other adjacent parcel at the very far west end of the property is a large grassy area with 2 sites. Both have 30 and standard 110 electric, plus water. --1 Standard RV site can accommodate 1 RV (5th wheel, travel trailer, pop up, Class C etc. NO Class A's allowed). Or, can be used as a tent site IF the tent only site is already booked. Pump out is available for a fee. --1 Tent only site. To be booked first before the Standard RV site. However, both sites are next to each other with same view. There is plenty of room to set up games, fish, play with the kids or the dogs, etc. What's not to like? It is your very own exclusive home away from home. If you don't have an RV or a tent and want to still come and visit, no problem. Rent one of our RVs or rent our tent. PLEASE NOTE: We are not a commercial campground or a business. However, there are certain rules that must be adhered to per the agreement with our local township and our neighbors along our shared private road. Property is adjacent to Connor Bayou County Park and is surrounded by natural wetlands. Perfect place to unwind, chill, enjoy the fresh air and picture perfect sunsets. Boating, swimming, jet skis, kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing are just a few of the things to enjoy on the water. Bring your own boat, jet ski, kayak or rent from nearby establishments. One of many public boat launches is just a couple minute ride and Connor Bayou County Park has a kayak specific boat launch. You can also drop a kayak in at the very west end of our property right from shore. If you are bringing your own boat, jet ski, kayak and have a separate trailer, parking of that trailer must be pre-authorized due to limited space. Please inquire. Hiking, biking and wildlife, bird/eagle watching are also in the area. Spring Lake, Lake Michigan, beaches, various state/county parks, downtown Grand Haven's shops and restaurants are just a short drive away. Holland is about 30 minutes south and also has a cute downtown, craft beers, and beaches. PJ Hoffmaster State Park is 20 minutes North. If you are a thrill seeker Michigan's Adventure Amusement and Waterpark is only 30 minutes North in Muskegon. There are also many wineries, ciders and craft beer in Southwest Michigan. And many blueberry farms around too. Bottom line....there is plenty of things to do and see during your visit. You can be as active or as chill as you want to be.

Only 30 minutes east of Grand Rapids, this property was established as a Youth Camp for 15 years is now a private event venue and campground, so it has nice amenities like FULL restrooms, a picnic shelter, and even a few small cabins that can be rented. Cabins ARE SMOKE FREE and may not be used as kennels so please keep pets off furnature and don't leave them inside when you are gone. You must bring your own queen sheet set. Steam cleaning the mattress will be an extra charge. Swimming beach is available in Lowell a few miles away. Fishing rivers and lakes are also in the area. (live bait in Saranac) Woods site and Open Area have a few different locations you can choose from. If woods or open shows booked already, please contact me. Heavily wooded forest with pine, maple, oak and birch. Undeveloped and quiet. The property is home to numerous bird species, deer, wild turkeys and squirrels. Occasional howls from distant coyotes and infrequent raccoons. The campsites are located on a hill dominated by tall pines overlooking the east facing property. Secluded, but only a 700 feet from the main residence. Only 1 1/2 miles P.J Hoffmaster's State Park and a 10 minutes ride to Grand Haven State Park/Lake Michigan. Campsites are rustic but we provide camp toilets, a picnic table and a waste container. Fresh water is available at the barn. We also provide a shelter with picnic tables and a charcoal park grille. A large community fire pit is available with wood provided for a small cost by the hosts. When arriving please drive to the end of the driveway towards the last house. The Flipside Acres sign will be on your right side. Drive down the gravel entrance and park where indicated by the red barn. All sites are a short walk from the parking area (500ft) and carts are provided for your use. If needed, we can also provide transportation using our UTV.
