The camp site is located on the same property as Robinson's Housekeeping Log Cottages. The business was started 4 generations ago with one small cabin in 1920 by William Robinson and his wife Shirley.
The cottages are located on the bank of the Dennys River, on land owned by generations of Robinsons since 1875. There are 6 log cottages and one small clapboard cottage located on the property. We also have direct access to the Sunrise Trail.

It is a wooded lot with a firepit (wood included), picnic table, and tenting/campervan spot. Nearby are a swing set, volleyball/badminton net, horseshoes, and a beach on the river. Water bottles can be filled at the Cottages office. There are canoes, a rowboat, and a kayak that can be used for free by campers. Life jackets can be found hanging outside by the office. We have direct access to the Sunrise Trail and are located between mile marker 79 and 80.

The house is located 1/2 a mile up the road from our Farmstore (12 Little Falls Road) and is about 2 miles down the road from a local swimming hole.

Great camping spot overlooking Whiting Bay. Really loved the views and the firewood that Al provided. Large field for our dogs to run and steps down to the bay were a plus. Stayed in Site 7, which is really the only site that would accommodate our 48' truck/trailer. Other sites work best for tents or camper vans. Very narrow entrance, you'll miss it if you aren't careful.

What a magnificent spot! Beautiful location and view. Level lot for our van camping. Sites are primitive (fire ring and picnic table) and outhouse for bathroom. But unexpected extras were firewood, jugs of extra water for our use and a few other camping luxuries to borrow..

Enjoyed a great time camping for several days at Elmer's Cove! Spot 5 has a great view, both open enough to enjoy it and protected enough to protect our tent from some storms that blew in. The screen house was handy for rain, too, yay being able to have a dry dinner! Al was a flexible and responsive host and has good recommendations for local stuff to do. Would definitely stay there again if we're up that way in the future.

Al has a great place on the downeast coast with several options for different camping styles. It's easy to be there: water and firewood at hand. Plenty of privacy. The waters of Cobscook Bay create a relaxing and beautiful experience.

Great spot! Site 5 had a good water view, a bit of privacy with the lean to and could pull our little trailer up close to the spot. Including the firewood and spring water to use is a great perk! I’d stay here again and at site 7 next time to hike down with a tent and have a private oasis.

Site 4 & 5 are both secluded and private. We like site #5 better because our 16ft camper van could easily back up and turn around to exit. There was a trail near our site that was lined with pine trees that gave a fragrant smell through the air. Birds congregated in the trees with soft chatter and at night it was so peaceful. Due to the ban on camp fires here, we cannot add additional comments on what that might have felt like but since we have experienced camp fires before, this probably would have been perfect. We had rain/drizzle over night waking to wet grasses in the morning but the sun quickly popped out later on. Our host was extremely friendly and accomodating upon our arrival the first night and left us with a warm feeling of kindness for our adventures aheaad. If you like the outdoors, plan on a night or two in the woods. Cell coverage was decent (AT&T).

My spouse, 2 labs and I camped here on an overnight trip to explore the Bold Coast. It was the perfect base to explore from! Al had thought of everything and the listing was very accurate. We really appreciated having fire wood provided. Stunning views. We ended up staying at site 5 on Al’s suggestion which we found was the perfect balance between privacy and being close to the outhouse/fire wood. There was one other group with dogs and one without - we all touched base on boundaries/expectations and were able to have our dogs off leash which was a blessing. Would highly recommend.

My first campsite through the App was a great experience! Our host was quick to respond and very accommodating for a senior and a disabled person. And what a view!!! I wanted to see the sunrise on the east coast, and I was rewarded.
The out house is a true outhouse, but charming in its own way, totally fine for the able-bodied, but watch that first step is you’re not so steady.

Beautiful sites. We saw turnover during holiday wknd and every camper respectful of the shared quiet. Rustic, outhouse only. Thoughtful owner - jugged water and firewood made available and free. His home sits high overlooking campsites and it feels safe for solo females. Beautiful night sky.

I stayed here for a night on Labor Day weekend, using the tentsite by the river. So glad I came by! Very peaceful with the river and lake. Campfire pit, chairs, dry wood, clean portajohn all provided. I saw a moose on the way down to the campgrounds and even a shooting star!
