They've got it all!
Highly recommend this site! Bill & Teresa were super nice, greeted me and made sure I had everything I needed, made sure I had an idea of where things were in the area, and the site had basically everything except drinking water. They even checked on me during my 3 night stay to make sure I was still good with supplies, and had a great site with a pond on one side, the river on the other and kayaks/canoes in both!

The tent site was like a 4⭐️ hotel.
You have a sweet hidden nook. A huge amount of wood to use. Including dry kindling. And a bonus, your own privy.
We have camped at Cobscook state park for years. This was a last minute get away. Cobscook was booked. This hidden gem was an outstanding opportunity.

This was a very cute campsite that sat right along the river. My friend and I were here for just a night before we headed off to a hike in the morning, but wish we could have stayed longer! The fire-pit was great, and the location was beautiful, definitely want to come back!

5 star camp site on the river
Loved the site and location. Close parking, private site, very clean porta-potty, firewood included, canoe available and friendly hosts. The setting by the river is absolutely beautiful.

Great spot!
This is such a beautiful spot for camping. Everything was exactly as described, and the site felt both very secluded and safe. The extra amenities (adirondack chairs, firewood, badminton net, bathroom) made our time here so relaxing and enjoyable. We also enjoyed meeting Bill who was kind and attentive. Thanks to our hosts, we will absolutely be back!

What an amazing site! It's right next to the river, which is slow flowing and peaceful. It's secluded, but full of amenities. The hosts provide all the firewood you could use as well as kindling and newspaper, which was very thoughtful. A sandy beach is only a few minutes walk away. The road to the site has the river in one side and a beautiful pond with lilypads on the other. The road is lined with garden boxes full of produce that the host allows guests to cook up. I can't recommend the site enough.

Private site with plenty to do
We had a great time swimming in the river, canoeing and playing lawn games! The campsite was private and came stocked with firewood and kindling. Bill and Teresa were friendly and attentive hosts! I definitely recommend!

Downeast Getaway, with some bonuses
We've stayed here twice and both stays were fantastic! Not exactly 'back country' camping, but private enough to enjoy some quiet family time. The canoe/kayak access, badminton net and 'beach' area for swimming were an added bonus and helped keep everyone entertained during downtime (a.k.a. no bored kiddos). Also, the free firewood stacked neatly at the site, with a bin full of kindling/newspaper, made for some great campfire-filled evenings! Hosts were very accommodating and even let us borrow fishing gear on our first stay when we hadn't brought any of our own. For those looking for a tent site that's not completely out of the way, but you can still see the stars, this site's for you!

Perfect for a couple or family!
We loved our stay here! My partner requested that I leave a review because he was so impressed, which is not easy to do! We loved the private little tenting area, it has everything we needed. I enjoyed picking a few cucumbers and tomatoes to snack on in the raised beds, and he loved fishing in the river. The badminton net and swing set were nice touches, and we can’t wait to visit again with our kids to enjoy them! We’ve been looking for a place to visit as a summer tradition, and we’ve surely found it here!

Shaded tent site on the river, with pond close by, canoe access to both. Clean facility in the shade. Firewood free and stacked at site!
Host checked in and was very friendly. Thought the veggie gardens and hummingbird feeders around the pond was a nice touch!

Incredible camping in maine
Bill was so kind and made sure we had everything we needed. The spot was perfect and so beautiful!!! Truly one of the best camping experiences ever!!!
