The camp site is located on the same property as Robinson's Housekeeping Log Cottages. The business was started 4 generations ago with one small cabin in 1920 by William Robinson and his wife Shirley. The cottages are located on the bank of the Dennys River, on land owned by generations of Robinsons since 1875. There are 6 log cottages and one small clapboard cottage located on the property. We also have direct access to the Sunrise Trail. Learn more about this land: This campsite is located on the bank of the Dennys River and very close to the small pond also on the property. It is a wooded lot with a firepit (wood included), picnic table, and tenting/campervan spot. Nearby are a swing set, volleyball/badminton net, horseshoes, and a beach on the river. Water bottles can be filled at the Cottages office. There are canoes, a rowboat, and a kayak that can be used for free by campers. Life jackets can be found hanging outside by the office. We have direct access to the Sunrise Trail and are located between mile marker 79 and 80.This site is located on the bank of the Dennys River and very close to the small pond which is also on the property. This is a tent site, not RV site. However, we have found that campervans and pop-up campers can fit as well. There is a small dip off the road to the site, so if your van is very low to the ground, it could be an issue.

Perfect little spot for my trip! It was right next to the water, there was tons of firewood and kindling, and it was a beautiful quiet spot. I spent time kayaking, caught the sunset at Quoddy Head, and then made some banana boats with a campfire at night. 10/10 would stay again.

Very peaceful spot. Excellent bird watching. I had an eagle doing loops over the campsite for a couple hours. The hosts were incredibly gracious and lent me some bug spray and gave me free firewood. Would absolutely stay here again!

I stayed here for a night on Labor Day weekend, using the tentsite by the river. So glad I came by! Very peaceful with the river and lake. Campfire pit, chairs, dry wood, clean portajohn all provided. I saw a moose on the way down to the campgrounds and even a shooting star!

Beautiful, private, quiet land. The hosts are great! Having the picnic table, chairs, wood, kindling, porta-pot, and trash can made our camping trip so much easier! We loved having access to the river with the kayaks and rowboat, too. Definitely reccommend!

We just love this campsite. It is clean, private and the wood/kindling is well stocked. This was a return visit, and we’ll be back again! We especially like that we can enter the river right from the site. Thanks Bill and Teresa for another great experience!

Great spot big enough for a whole crew! I am not sure if 2-3 tents allowed there but would think a party of 10-20 could even fit there comfortably! It was just my dog and I, but I was imagining a whole party. 🙂🎉 One note: there are water bugs that look like mosquitos but aren’t. Still, a bit buggy at night. (Near river) Thank you so much Bill for the hospitality - free canoes and kayaks, too! - I hope the puppy’s doing well!

The site was adorable! There was a large pile of DRY firewood and box with kindling materials that made things super easy. There was a nice sized trash bin available on site and the porta potty was the cleanest I have ever seen.

I loved this campsite. I used the canoe and went along the river, and made a big fire with the provided firewood. Other guests are staying in cabins in the area, but it felt like it was just me on the river because I was the only tent site sitting outside! Really enjoyed this spot. It's on my list of places I would return.

Stayed here for our rest day while traveling. A great spot with moderate/great privacy. Great views of the water and a nice area for our pup to bounce around in. Bathroom was clean and well maintained. Saved for future trips

Beautiful and quiet space between the pond and river. Plenty of wood for the pit. Removed enough for this single camper and dog to get good sleep and see some stars. Ample space for at least a 4 person tent and plenty of seating, exceptionally clean porto, and picnic table. Use of kayaks offered. Hosts were extreamly accommodating and got my pup and I in on very short notice. Friendly and kind folks.

What a peaceful spot. Bill was welcoming and helpful. The site was tucked away nicely with plenty of privacy while still being easy to access from the main path. It was very clean and having trash and a toilet at the site was super convenient. We pitched a 2 man tent, took a canoe on the river, played badminton and relaxed amongst the plentiful nature and tranquility to be found here. Thank you Bill and Teresa for sharing your space!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a camp hosted by Bill and Teresa, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, they made us feel incredibly welcome with their charming personalities and genuine hospitality. The accommodations were more than we could have hoped for. They provided everything we needed, including ample firewood for cozy campfires and boats for exploring the beautiful surroundings. Bill and Teresa were always ready with amazing advice on local activities and fishing spots, which made our stay even more enjoyable. As city slickers from New York, we were pleasantly surprised by how much we loved the great outdoors. The fishing was fantastic, and we caught some impressive fish that added to the thrill of our adventure. Overall, our time at the camp was filled with laughter, relaxation, and unforgettable memories. If you're looking for a charming escape with wonderful hosts, I highly recommend spending time with Bill and Teresa. We can’t wait to return!

Beautiful, quiet little spot in your own corner of the world - right on the river! My husband was in fishing heaven with the option of a river or pond all within 50 yards of each other. Owners left dry wood and newspaper which was amazing because it had been raining for about 12 hours straight when we arrived. Started a fire right up! Beautiful property!

We spent a very peaceful night right on the river. Outhouse was very clean. Although we did not have a fire Bill left us more than enough wood. Bill was very gracious and made sure we had everything we needed. Would highly recommend a stay here. Thank you!

One of my top hipcamp experiences so far. Easy to get to/clear instructions, even after dark. Beautiful land with lots to see/do. Private and quiet. Cleanest porta potty I’ve ever used at a campsite. If I lived closer, I’d come back for a longer stay/group trip in a heartbeat!

Bill could NOT have been nicer. The site was totally private, spacious, and well-groomed (Bill even mowed for us just before our arrival!). The swings were fun too, even for two adults! Having a CLEAN bathroom right there on site (and a trash can) was an absolute luxury, as was filling our water jugs before hitting the road. Bill even introduced us to his new puppy on our way out. Would absolutely stay here again!!!

We had an awesome experience tent camping here! Site is secluded, right on the pond, has chairs, a picnic table, a fire pit, stocked wood and even badminton! Will definitely stay again!

Nice private spot, cute setup. well maintained and included a port a potty, volleyball net, picnic table, and chairs around the firepit. We were just crashing for the night in our 20ft campervan and actually get to enjoy nice it was. We needed to park in the parking spot for cars because the hill had a dip that we didn’t think would clear the underneath of our van, but it didn’t matter because we could face the camping spot just fine and it was basically just in front of the camping spot anyways. The host greeted us when we pulled in, offered to let us use kayaks and life jackets they had. Would definitely come back. Thank you!

We loved tent camping on Bill & Teresa’s land! Check in and out was very easy and they even had a port-a-potty on site which was very convenient. They had plenty of wood for us to use for a fire and our camp was right next to the river which was absolutely beautiful. We would definitely stay again!

The site is amazing! We loved it and hope to go again sometime. It is very private and right on the river. They supplied plenty of firewood and we enjoyed foil dinners and s’mores. They are both very nice and helpful!!

Very peaceful and beautiful property! We enjoyed our stay so much that we extended a day! We had everything we needed and our host, Bill, said to not hesitate if there was something else he could provide. The use of the canoes and kayaks was a nice perk, although we missed out on that because of some rain. There was horseshoes, volleyball and badminton available! We had some fun with those. We were provided plenty of wood and kindling which was really nice. Thank you for sharing your beautiful place with us. It was the perfect quiet break we needed!

Highly recommend this site! Bill & Teresa were super nice, greeted me and made sure I had everything I needed, made sure I had an idea of where things were in the area, and the site had basically everything except drinking water. They even checked on me during my 3 night stay to make sure I was still good with supplies, and had a great site with a pond on one side, the river on the other and kayaks/canoes in both!

The tent site was like a 4⭐️ hotel. You have a sweet hidden nook. A huge amount of wood to use. Including dry kindling. And a bonus, your own privy. We have camped at Cobscook state park for years. This was a last minute get away. Cobscook was booked. This hidden gem was an outstanding opportunity. Thank❤️You so much

This was a very cute campsite that sat right along the river. My friend and I were here for just a night before we headed off to a hike in the morning, but wish we could have stayed longer! The fire-pit was great, and the location was beautiful, definitely want to come back!
