Thank you for a lovely stay! Ken and Marley made us feel so welcomed the moment we arrived on the property that it felt like we were greeting and old friend. They even delivered our ice and firewood right to our site. Our pup Mabel had the time of her life tunning and playing in the field, although a bit too much at times, tossing all obedience out the window and inviting herself into the barn, where she was greeted with laughter and a few pats from fellow campers. All was forgiven immediately and it was was a beautiful night to sit by the fire under the most amazing view of the stars! Such a peaceful place to be that Mabel, stubborn as ever, laid down limp in protest when it was time to leave!

Absolutely incredible! Would definitely book again. We got lucky enough to have the whole camp to ourselves. We brought the kayak down to the water (about a 5 min walk) and paddled around all afternoon. Little walking trails all around the property. Grill for cooking and plenty of fire wood although I did bring my own. Quiet but close enough to town. Super response host and beautiful land. Thank you for having us!

Very private the view is wonderful we saw deer and turkeys. The concrete pad was easy to set up on and power water electric is right there. The concrete pad needs to be resurfaced when it rained it had deep standing puddles. We will be returning for sure as it is a beautiful place to relax and visit Belgrade lakes.

Ken and Jen were amazing hosts! Their communication was always clear and on time. They made sure I had everything I needed and went above and beyond. Ken took time out of his schedule to map out some of the best motorcycle routes in New Hampshire and Maine for me. It made my motorcycle riding so memorable. And the campsite was excellent with everything I needed. I plan to make this my go to campsite whenever I moto camp in the future.

I had a lovely overnight stay at the tree-lined platform site. Ken and Jen were very hospitable and provided many details to create a comfortable camping experience, including: potable water, firewood, the outhouse, a solar-lit path, and they even offered to hang a solar shower. I would absolutely recommend camping on Ken and Jen’s land!! The site was quiet and peaceful. They put a lot of thought into making sure the site was perfect. They even went so far as to make sure the picnic table and the prep table were level!! The firewood bundles were dry and you got quite a bit for the price. There is a fabulous barn and patio area on the property that you are allowed to use. The only draw back is the distance to the outhouse. It definitely felt far away if you really needed to go. Hopefully maybe one day they will add another one closer to the sites. I can guarantee that this will be a site that I will come back to again!!

We absolutely loved our stay on Joel’s land. Unbelievably beautiful spot. Spacious and quiet. Only ten minutes or so from amenities but feels a world away. We absolutely loved riding our bikes up and down the hill at sunset. We’d come back any time (and plan to!).
One thing, we booked site one thinking it was the site at the top of the hill with a picnic table (as we car camp usually and don’t have a table handy). When we arrived, other campers were already set up in what we thought was our site. I based this assumption on previous campers reviews, and the fact that it says there’s a picnic table at the site on HipCamp. We found another great spot down the hill and set up there, but it was a little more difficult without a table and frankly a little confusing as to where to set up as sites aren’t numbered and we didn’t want to intrude on anyone else. A minor inconvenience as we still had an amazing time.

The campsite is huge and clean, the platform is level and spacious, the outdoor shower is great. Ken came to say hi, introduce himself, and hang the solar shower for us. So helpful and welcoming! The property is gorgeous and quiet, and the campsite offers a lot of privacy. The outhouse is clean. It was an amazing experience!

What an awesome place right on the river! We made a 10 minute drive up to Lovewell pond and floated in our tubes all afternoon right back to our camp! We tent camped and brought everything we needed but had we not Erik had offerings for grilling, an outdoor sink, picnic tables etc. (Also provides the cleanest porta-john ever!) There is also a convenience store a mile and a half away. The beach area off this property was amazing, a nice shallow section leading into a deeper swimming area. The river here is all sand and completely clear of rocks/debris etc. Thank you to Erik, for sharing this beautiful land!
