We loved our stay at Jennys land. Hooking up the camper was easy and there was an extra water hose just in case yours isnt long enough. It was quiet and peaceful with lots of things to explore in the area Tick season is in full swing so dont forget your repellent.

The yurt was warm and well prepared. Jeremy and Lauren were very helpful and made our stay a very pleasant experience. We ended up doing the movie experience and it was worth it, so much fun watching Ice Age by the fire. So many fun things to do and so close to Nashville and Bowling Green. Great stay, will definitely come back!

This is a well established hunting reserve. Joey and Melissa are super patient with me and my wife. Taught us how to shoot our shotguns. This place is safe and friendly. We will be coming back as Joey and Melissa made us feel at home.

Flora and Fauna Camp is very much out in the sticks, which we appreciate. Nor far from Naashville: about a 30-minute drive. Slightly tricky to find: some GPS routes tries to take you over a creek that you have to ford, but the water isn't always so low. Google Maps was reliable. But be aware that you will likely lose signal on the way, so save the directions to your device. We have 1-2 bars with T-Mobile, which was enough for our T-Mobile Wi-Fi to work. Valerie was very pleasant and has some interesting stories. We were able to fill our water tank at their house; the extension cord for power was connected to a motorhome parked near the house. We ran our Honda 2000 watt inverter for power and it wasn't an issue. They have done brush hogging fairly recently, so there are lots of small tree stumps, bits of branches hither and gone, and so on. The road, once off Higdon, is gravel/clay/caliche and features quite a challenging moonscape of potholes. Some have been filled with crushed rock, but there are some whoppers. There was a road grader nearby: I was tempted to take it for a joy ride. :-) Might not be the right place for everyone, but we're good with boondocking and it worked like a charm for us. We had an amazing stay. Only regret it was too short. My son said this feels like home. Great place to tent camping with children. You/they get the "camping experience" while enjoying some amenities and hammock, trampoline, ninja course.

Such a great and safe spot! Right outside of Nashville and exactly what we were looking for. The property owner is extremely friendly and nice and was super accommodating to our arrival. We have a car rig set up and we were able to set up & hit the road the next morning. The location has lots of cool stuff on the property and the bathroom was clean & nice. Highly suggest & would stay here again when I pass through the area.

We travel in a 26' trailer and truck, 55'long total. Completely self contained. This location was Very peaceful with beautiful views and fabulous sunsets! The road in is gravel with some big pot holes. Most had been recently filled, but was still rough. We crept along at 5 mph (less than a mile) and didn't disturb anything in the camper. The hosts were VERY friendly and offered us coffee! Otherwise we were left to ourselves as we wished. We did not fit on the site they had us booked for, but the offered us 2 other spots even offering to move one of their own vehicles to accommodate us. After 2 days we filled out water tank, and moved on!

Weekend Trip to Brand'n Iron Hills

Tent camping here for the second time with my friends. This is our new go to spot, very private and plenty of woods for firewood. Robert is also a great host and keeps this land in great shape.

40 acres Located in beautiful Dover TN 5 miles from Lake Barkley & the Cumberland River. Conveniently located a few miles from town, far enough that it is quiet, but close enough that it is not a long trip to town. The property features a variety of thriving wildlife due to our fresh water stream that gently flows through the property year round. The stream is roughly ankle to hip deep depending on the area. The water is crystal clear and safe to play in if you have little ones. Walk along the stream and discover all kinds of fish, turtles, beautiful river stones and possibly see a beaver or 2. If you have Archery equipment, you can use our Archery Range. The property is split by a 2 lane road. 7 acres to the North and 33 acres to the South. The smaller side is flat with many trails, fresh water stream and a gravel road. It features relatively junior trees and is home to a family of Whitetail Deer. The Southern side of the property features a mature hardwood forest full of giant white oak trees. Be sure to put on your hiking boots though, because there's a few Hills to climb. Three hills that form a beautiful valley in the center, with another fresh waterstream. The valley was once home to a 1700s settlement, so you may find some artifacts. (We just ask that you leave them where you find them.) Main trails are marked clearly with large reflectors for safety. With the near-by wildlife refuge you are sure to see and hear a variety of wildlife. We have large steel firepits in every campsite. So feel free to bring your own firewood! Enjoy a good book or nap while relaxing in a hammock. Swing with a loved one while over looking the fresh water stream. Walk down along the stream and collect rocks, feed the fish, or go for a dip! Currently our property is very Primative, whichever there is no electricity or plumbing. We do offer clean composting toilets & a locking gate at night for your security. **Cellular service is limited in some areas. Signal can be found by the road, or cross the road and take the trail up the 1st hill**
