Decent hike in spot, secluded with lots of wildlife. Responsive host that showed me to spot and checked in afterwards.

He didn’t mention that you needed a 4 by 4 to get to the website. He assumed you to drive to the site and it’s there right there. Didn’t mention you had to hike 1/4 mile across a creek and uphill to the site. I had a cooler with 40 pounds of ice to hike of the hill with materials for water and cleaning. He never offered to help me take up to take my stuff up a 4 by 4 with ever needing help. He used a 4 by 4 with a trailer to help you to not hike up and down the hill either a 1/4 mile over a creek and uphill to the campgrounds. He says he brings water and wood every day. I left 15 minutes later. He never 15 minutes later. He contacted 2 days laters. Didn’t know I left . He’s suppose to bring water and wood everyday . He never knew I was happy or even gone. He never delivered water or wood each day. He will only defund, it’s a week out. After telling him we’re nearly 50, he says he has a 4 wheeler to help with a trailer without telling us to use. Poop in the box he never had any replacements bags that he was supposed to replace with everyday with water and poop bags that he never experienced after we left. He had 2 days and never helped or checked on us everyday. Never had water or wood. But never offered to replace. We stayed 2 days more than a price for a 2 day hotel for his misrepresentation of a tent. Don’t believe his wrong description of the camp ground. Par 1/4 mile up hill, doesn’t check on you everyday with no water, no wood. Skip it

We enjoyed our time at this campsite very much, sitting by the fire and hiking the trails right outside our tent doors! Jon was an awesome host, informative as well as kind. The lanterns and bug repellent candles were much appreciated as well. The animals were an awesome added bonus!!

We had a GREAT stay!! Jon-Roy was very responsive and helpful. It was cool to see the cows!! And the tent was exactly as described and even had a heater which we never used because the tent held enough heat (even though it was a little chilly outside). The amenities were great and he really thought of everything. We got a great night sleep and will definitely be back. The little walk to the site wasn’t bad at all. Definitely glad we got there in the daytime otherwise it would have been tough to get to it. We loved our quiet little escape and will be back!

This was a great stay for our short trip—I only wish we had a little more time to enjoy the campground! Jon-Roy was very helpful and accommodating in helping us find the camping spot since we arrived right at dark. The area was peaceful and lovely and had everything we needed in terms of a primitive camping spot!

Resurrection Ridge Retreat
My family and I had a great time here. It’s a secluded spot with a nice tent and a happy friendly dog who kept us company. There’s a very short hike to the camp site from the best place to park which makes relaxing in the big comfortable chairs by the fire that much more rewarding. Make sure you do your tick checks! Highly recommend

We love camping at Mr. Jon-Roy’s retreat. It was beautiful and peaceful up on the ridge. This was the first time our boys had been camping and we couldn’t have asked for a better place for that to happen. Mr. Jon-Roy was very nice and accommodating. We will definitely be back.

We loved being secluded here without having to set up a tent!! The bed was cozy, tons of firewood available, solid spot all around! Would recommend this to anyone in the area! We had more fun here than we would have had downtown for sure

My husband and I absolutely loved this site. It is super secluded, quiet, and serene. The host Jon was very thoughtful with stocking the site with anything you might need (or may have forgotten). The bed is incredibly comfortable and the site is very clean and well taken care of. We are already planning another visit to this great spot! Highly recommend
