Hello Campers, Here at J + M Acres we pride ourselves on providing a wonderful camping experience. When you book with us you get over 10 acres of 100% private camping land because we only allow one group per booking. Unlike other sites, we are more than willing to help get you and your gear out to and back from the campsite as well. We have two large open areas for camping and activities and just over a mile of walking trails. The main camping area has 16’x32’ deck with plenty of folding tables and two wrought iron tables w/ 8 chairs. The other large area has an 8’x10’ deck with love swing and a reclined swing thing. Lol We have a large fire pit and to make your life easier, firewood is available for purchase on site. There’s also a very nice outhouse with a cold water shower on the outside. The main trail and outhouse trails are both lit at night. We also have a charcoal grill, tripod grill for over the fire pit, bags boards, beersby, volleyball nets, bocce ball, and frisbee golf baskets that are all available for use upon request for no extra charge. Our property setting is a hidden gem that opens to the most beautiful natural setting. Here at The Haven, the property has ample space for parking, room for various size camping tents and small pop-up tents small RV's, A dock for fishing, and access for kayaking. Fire pits and grill area for cooking and a complimentary bucket with some goodies to start you off. This setting is perfect for camping in a private nestled nook on the river. We have more than one area on the property to choose from. You can choose any site you would like: From the River’s edge, Beach Area (site 1) Small RV and tent site, or on the River under The Canopy of trees (site2) small RV and tent site. Nestled in its own 10 acre woods. Both of these properties are primitive ( no running water in an out house for a bathroom). Firewood is provided and there are trails in the woods to walk. The Mirror lake property has been a family farm for over 185 years. There is a family cemetery that dates to 1832. If you want to be around a lot of people in the fast track this is not the place for you. If you’re looking for peace, quiet, tranquil, social distance but still enjoyed this is the place for you!
