Located halfway between Chicago and Detroit in the heart of Amish country, we are a third-generation regenerative hay and multi-species farm. Your rustic, riverside campsite with unobstructed sunset views over our organic hay field awaits. Bring your fishing pole and Michigan fishing license or boat, canoe, kayak of your choice, and enjoy relaxing on the peaceful Fawn River. When you're done rounding up your catch of the day, relax by the campfire while it cooks. Please note that Michigan Hunting Season and inclement weather conditions like snow or mud may require that you set up camp near the homestead rather than by the woods. If you have any questions, please ask. Local attractions include a world-renowned flea market, Amish-Mennonite Museum, Amish bulk food store, gift shops of all kinds, restaurants, dinner theater, paved bike paths, soft pretzels, ice cream, and so much more. *Camping only available near buildings during hunting season October 1, 2026 - January 10, 2027. **Camping only available near buildings on cement, stone, or grass during the winter months depending on weather and rig configuration. A True Oasis!
Graber Oasis: Site A
Shari and David have created a true little oasis at Graber Oasis! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed - not only by Shari and David, but also by a whole crew of adorable pups that immediately made us smile. We were especially grateful for how kind and accommodating they were when inclement weather forced us to postpone our first night. Their flexibility and communication made a stressful situation so much easier. The campsite itself is spacious, private, and beautifully situated right on the river. The newly installed water pump was incredibly convenient, and we appreciated having plenty of firewood, a picnic table, and hammock posts already set up. The complimentary kayaks and canoes were a fantastic bonus, and the river is perfect for a peaceful paddle. We loved exploring the nearby hiking trails, watching the abundant wildlife, and taking in the beautiful scenery around the property. David was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and we enjoyed talking with him and learning more about the area and the property they've thoughtfully created for guests to enjoy. If you're looking for a peaceful riverside getaway with wonderful hosts and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors, Graber Oasis is a gem. We left feeling refreshed and already looking forward to our next visit!

What a blessing to have found this spot on my epic road trip! From the moment I made my reservation, the communication was excellent and responsive. Even though I arrived late in the evening, my hosts came out to greet me personally and made sure I had absolutely everything I needed for a comfortable night’s rest. Their genuine warmth and care went above and beyond typical hosting - they truly created a safe, welcoming space for a solo traveler like myself. The morning brought an extra delightful surprise when they checked in on me and I got to meet the adorable newborn goats! This is exactly the kind of authentic connection that makes Hipcamp experiences so special. I’m deeply grateful to have crossed paths with such wonderful people who create not just a place to park, but a true sanctuary for weary travelers. If your journey brings you this way, you’ll be in excellent hands. Highly recommend! 🌟

I can’t speak highly enough about Dave and Shari Graber. They were incredibly hosts that made us feel like family. From a true farm experience to amazing kayaking and fishing, we did not want to leave. Just a great time with great people.

To start the directions were easy and Shari and David were there to great us. They have a couple hundred acres and the camp site is in the back 40... which they led the way to our beautiful spot by the river. There were plenty of parking options for our trailer to which we backed in under the trees. There is fresh water, picnic table, fire pit and garbage can. There are kayaks available for use in the river...WOW! Sunrises and sunsets were spectacular. It is completely hidden from any civilization. Great place to camp!

Shari and David were incredible hosts. If you want a no frills, beautiful, private, and unique stay, stay here. We will absolutely seek to stay here again if we are in the area. We had travel troubles and didn’t arrive until midnight and they stayed awake to meet us and guide us to our spot. We were grateful for their hospitality, flexibility, and understanding. An absolutely awesome stay!
