Our family had an amazing experience at this campsite! The campsites are very clean and so spacious. The kids had a blast fishing in the pond and exploring all the nature around us. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and friendly, making our stay even better. We highly recommend this campsite for a fun and relaxing family getaway!

Passed through for 1 night, but would recommend this peaceful, well maintained place. Hosts were welcoming, communication great, and shared local info for stores, entertainment, etc. They have friendly horses across the road we enjoyed saying hello to. Watched butterflies and fireflies in the flower field next to the site & enjoyed beautiful sunset scenery. Full hook ups were nice. Would recommend a spicket that guests have access to turn on/off water. It was inaccessible due to being connected to the inside of their business building. Site was just as described/ pictured with concrete and limestone (pitched slightly to direct water away from building) but easy to level, easy to find location, easy to back into/exit. We'd definitely book again if we were back in the area. Thanks again Brandi for sharing your property with us!

Loved the escorted entry by a cute mini car looking type of golfcart. I followed them into the dark star filled campground barely lit with twinkly lights to indicate campsights on the plush grassy grounds. Fully stocked complimentary firewood, tables, late checkout option and fabulous big private shower, as well as an outside sink for washing dishes. Shade trees at nearly every site as well as firepit with grill on most. Definitely recommend taking a walk along the property easy hiking trails with blackberries in the way back. Extremely friendly hosts with farm fresh eggs for purchase. I got 1/2 dozen for $2 and they were amazing. My service dog was ecstatic to have her run of the place because there weren't any other dogs at the time. Very pet friendly place with ducks swimming on a little pond. Adirondack chairs were pond side to sit and gaze at them if you so choose. Just absolutely charming. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Earl & Lisa were incredibly kind and welcoming, going above and beyond throughout our stay! We had privacy on our site, and room for three tents, while being close to the bathroom and pond. We enjoyed farm fresh eggs and a large load of firewood that we were able to add on while at the site. We loved feeding the ducks/fish, playing cornhole and lawn games in the common area, and relaxing at the campsite in the shade. Bathroom was incredibly clean, and we appreciated the outdoor sink and garbage can. We had a great two nights and would absolutely return!

Anne was a super amazing host! We stayed at the meadow and want to come back to one of the forest sites. Her property was so well maintained and because of this there were so many fireflies! It was a magical weekend and the outdoor kitchen came in handy. We appreciated the roaming pets, the site was easy to get to and it had everything we needed. The area was close to the water and not far from a lot of cute food places and antique shops. Definitely a hidden gem and we can’t wait to come back!

Great spot for an overnight. Would be a fun place to rent out the entire place and do a family reunion. Wonderful shower and bathroom! Only downside was the highway and train noise. Otherwise fantastic. The camp hosts are wonderful.

I loved camping at 2chicks! The property is well maintained and felt private. The farm tour was a lot of fun! We had lots of kitty visitors who were very friendly and enjoyed their company. Unfortunately, our tent was damaged during our visit (we got hit with a large storm) but our host graciously allowed us to switch camp sites to a yurt last minute. The host's did fresh coffee and hot water in the morning making our breakfast easy. Id love to return again! Highly recommend!

I was at the Farm camping at Mike's Place with my grandson. We had so much fun. He was able to enjoy the farm animals and especially the cats! Julie and Theresa were so kind! Tent ready to go, a welcome basket with so many camp things! It is so peaceful. I am going back with two other grands in a few weeks! If you are looking for a camping experience but are not equipped with camping gear, this is the place for you!

It was the perfect get away. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming. The farm’s location is ideal, just a short drive to both the city and the lake (don’t miss North Beach if you ask for local tips!). We enjoyed a great mix of nature and charming small-town fun, local brewerys bakeries and farms market on Saturdays. And the eggs? Absolutely the best I’ve ever had. We cooked them over an open fire for breakfast and even bought all that left at the moment to bring some home!

They checked in with us a few times during our stay to make sure my dog and I were comfortable in the extreme heat we had, even offered AC to help keep us cool! All around amazing experience! 2Chicks And A Farm

7 camp sites, 1 RV site, 3 Yurts, a Bohemian camp site, and new this year a TeePee Site and Hammock site. For a total of 13 options. 2Chicks And A Farm is a small working farm on 20 acres, owned and run by Julie and Theresa Graham. We are 13 minutes from South Haven and the lake. 30 minutes from the city of Kalamazoo. And just under an hour from Grand Rapids. About half of the 20 acres is wooded, which is where three of our camp sites, Hammock Haven are located. Each site has a fire ring & picnic table. One site, capable of taking a mid sized RV / Fifth Wheel, is located on the front of the property with easy access from the road. It backs up to some trails and brush/wood area and has a corn field to the right. So, even though on the front on the property, you have a feeling of privacy. It too has a fire pit and picnic table. Three camp sites are located in the pasture. One is at the bottom of the pasture (1) and quite open. It can accommodate larger groups with multiple tents. A more secluded site (5) is half open and half in light woods., and is located at the top of the pasture. The others are in the middle of the pasture, 2 for sun lovers and 3 for those who prefer more shade. For those who prefer more seclusion, we have cleared three sites in the woods. All sites have a fire ring, or metal fire pit, and picnic table. Some have fire wood boxes (we’re working on making a box for all sites). We have an outdoor propane shower that provides both hot and cold water. This is free. A coffee bar is on the back deck. Coffee is brewing around 7am. We also provide hot water, teas, hot chocolate and cider. Feeling a little peckish before breakfast, or after dinner? Help yourself to a snack. This is all free, though small donations are welcomed. Our goats, poultry, pigs, rabbits, cats and dogs and produce take up about an acre and a half. Then the rest is open space. You are welcome to collect eggs for breakfast and fresh produce from our gardens (additional fee). Use the BBQ or smoker. And even join in on farm chores if you are so inclined. Please try to plan to check-in by 9pm. Exceptions can be made. There are locally mandated quiet hours (10-7 Sun through Thur, and 11-7 Fri and Sat). Hanging out by a fire and chatting is fine.

Sleek Acres

Sleek Acres is a total of 13 acres, which includes our homestead, our chicken yard and barn, a fishing pond, and over 8 secluded acres to the back of the property where guests can explore (including walking trails). There are hungry catfish and bass in the pond who are always happy to be fed (we provide the fish food). Fishing is allowed, but catch and release only (under 12"), please! A small group of ducks live on the pond and will happily greet you as you walk to the beach. Relax at the beach in the morning as you enjoy your coffee and watch the fish, ducks, and turtles swim in the pond. Fire rings and picnic tables are provided at each site. A small amount of firewood is provided, and additional firewood is available for purchase. We have two charcoal grills available for your use. We provide a bathhouse, which includes a toilet and shower. A handwash/dishwashing station is located right outside the bathhouse. Our chickens are happy to take any food leftovers you don't want! You can walk right up to the fence and they will greet you. You may also see deer, fox, groundhogs, and many beautiful birds in the camping area. Located central to many destinations, we are 5 minutes from All-Sports Koontz Lake; 10 minutes from Plymouth, plenty of shopping and home of the Blueberry Festival (Labor Day weekend); 10 minutes from Walkerton, home of the Falloween Fest (Sept. 26, 27, 28); 25 minutes from Valparaiso; and 50 minutes from Notre Dame. Inn Between the Lakes is a unique location surrounded by farm fields. It's a 1880’s farm house, old barn and newer cottage sit on just under two acres. The main floor of the home is occupied by the owner. Accommodations are available on the second floor of the house, in the cottage, and on the grounds. The upstairs second floor of the home has its own access and is separate from the rest of the house. Three private bedrooms share bathrooms and a porch/living room with a fabulous view. Completely renovated in 2023. This included adding a shared kitchenette, remodeling each bedroom, the bathroom and adding a powder room. Across the deck is the cottage. The newly remodeled suite features a king bed, cotton sheets, a convenient kitchenette, ADA friendly bathroom, private patio and deck. Set up your tent or RV under a lovely shady tree or near the limitless expanse of a waving corn field. Enjoy your morning coffee while relaxing on the large deck to the sound of running water meandering to the Koi pond. Grill steaks on one of the BBQ grills. Toast marshmallows at the little table fire pit on the the deck or down at the campfire circle. Take a stroll around the property and enjoy the gardens. Many varieties of vegetation, flowers, trees, herbs and vegetables. On the north edge of the property is the old 1900 hay barn. It was moved to the property in the 1950’s and has several unique qualities, and is available for weddings or boutique event venue.

We are expecting our official season with events and all sorts of fun to kick off around Memorial Day but you are still welcome to camp out for a quieter stay in the meantime. Hostel SoHa is two 5,000 square foot buildings on 7 acres of private land in the process of being renovated into the first traveler's hostel in West Michigan. This summer, we are proud to announce we will be opening our first building with indoor pod-bed accommodations on May 15th. Not to worry, campers. There is still plenty of space for pitching tents, car camping, and even more amenities included with your stay. [Apirl 18th Update] Because we are still in the process of opening up a communal kitchen, a larger common area, an improved outdoor fire pit area, showers, and more there may be construction going on during your stay. This likely won’t be a disruption to your stay but we thought we’d give you the heads up. Also note, pictures on Hipcamp may not accurately reflect the space as we make these changes. We are located directly off M-43 and only a 5 minute drive to the beach; downtown South Haven; and Walmart, Aldi, and Meijer. We are also a 5 minute drive from the Kal-Haven trailhead and can help hikers and bike-packers arrange a pick up or drop off from there. The Bangor Train Station is a 12 minute drive and we can also help arrange pick up and drop off from there. This fun and central location is best suited for adults ages 18-35, but we welcome any adult looking for a more social and unique experience. This is a adult/traveler friendly environment and is not recommended for families or individuals looking for a private getaway. Unfortunately, we do not allow anyone under 18 to stay even when accompanied by an adult. Nestled in its own 10 acre woods. Both of these properties are primitive ( no running water in an out house for a bathroom). Firewood is provided and there are trails in the woods to walk. The Mirror lake property has been a family farm for over 185 years. There is a family cemetery that dates to 1832. If you want to be around a lot of people in the fast track this is not the place for you. If you’re looking for peace, quiet, tranquil, social distance but still enjoyed this is the place for you!

As part of your responsibilities, you will maintain the cleanliness of four bathhouses three times a week, ensuring a pleasant experience for all our guests. Daily tasks will also include opening and closing the pool, cleaning the pool and surrounding area, and managing pool chemicals to keep the water sparkling and safe. Your work schedule will alternate weekly, allowing for a balanced routine with one week on and one week off. In addition to these duties, you will assist with general cleanup around the campground as needed, contributing to the overall upkeep of our beautiful outdoor space.
