The Riding Stable and Resort

When we bought this property 5 years ago, it was a little run down. Many years ago, it housed sheep and cows. We revamped our little 15-acre farm and continue to improve its looks. Now it is our home and houses my riding stable. Many people have commented on how nice it is. I thought this would be a great opportunity to share its beauty and the animals with others.Learn more about this land:We have 6 spots to pitch a tent, but we're pretty flexible so if you see another area, please ask!.  Site 10 is most secluded.   The others are around our grassy barnyard area where you're able toenjoy all of our different animals!. All sites are 2-5 mins from the main house. You will be staying at our horse farm. We have many chickens, 2 bunnies, potbelly pigs, feeder pigs (depending on the time of year),  and our 3 house dogs. We offer overnight equine amenities as well. You can enjoy a small fire (weather dependent) or listen to the crickets and frogs under the starry night. Actually, you can do it all. We offer rides on the horses as well, (extra charges). You can even book a trip to the state park to ride the horse trails, which is only 15 minutes away. There is a great fishing lake 1 mile from the farm, so bring your poles & kayaks. There is a Dollar General, 2 gas stations, and a liquor store in our tiny little town if you forget anything.

This is a nice shaded area where we offer spots.  Plenty of room for multiple tents without crowding.  Horses are in this field during the spring summer and fall from approximately 8 am to 9 PM EST.  The storms here recently have created some changes. 

We camped right next to the fire ring & the barns, but there are additional areas to set up around the farm including a wooded area

Walnut Valley Realm

Camping like it was meant to be!  Come stay with us and explore one of the largest privately owned certified forest in Indiana.   Many of our sites are spread out so far you will feel like you are the only ones here.  We have 4 electric sites with the rest primitive. Over 5 miles of hiking trails, and if you prefer cycling, local roads are part of the Two Rivers on Two Wheel bike route. If Kayaking is your thing, explore the Eel River, or the Tippecanoe.  We hope we see you all soon! 

First time campers, or well traveled families will find a spot at Walnut Valley.

The Natural Getaway

Friend of the family owned for 100 years+. Want to share the beauty with others.Learn more about this land:After you park off the road, grab your gear and make the hike. There is a nice trail,  stretched through out the trees. Follow the trail past the ditch and then up a small incline. The trail will curve a few times and then you will go down the small incline to the open camping area in the woods. Pitch a tent and enjoy nature at its finest!.

Parking before the hike! No worries your vehicle will be watched over.

The Boonies camping

Our property is secluded and situated next to Millark Pond and is the habitat for many wildlife.  We have a 20 hole disc golf course with 2 optional tee pads, canoeing is available with your canoe or kayak, fishing, nature walking and a community pool 13 minutes away.   You can have wood fired pizza delivered any night except Tuesdays. Learn more about this land:In the country on a beautiful disc golf course. There is access to water and electricity in the shop but not at sites. There is a lot of different wildlife to enjoy, the nickel plate bike trail is about 4 miles away & the Rochester community pool is 10 minutes. You can fish in the pond or take a canoe ride by the beaver hut.  The sites are not marked, you can basically camp where you want but we don’t recommend setting up in the middle of the disc course. Campfires 🔥 are welcome.
